Me, Myself & I... Lower carb, fasting, real live foods

Went to bed with idea of going to kettlercise, woke up with not enough energy.. I think if I went when I feel like this - I would end up feeling worse. Lets hope by 7th jan that I feel back to my old self, if not better :)

Week 2 of withdrawal program..

1 tablet morning and at night - dropped down from 1 morning and 2 evening .

Have taken a nurofen to as have headache as with this lack of energy today I think it kind of hasn't helped!
 
Going to change my breakfasts back to food doc seeded porridge mix., until I get myself sorted as I am craving carby stuff and I think I need to wean myself off the higher carbs slowly too :)

Pretty darn happy with my Xmas cake - it just gets better with every slice - My yearly binge of Xmas cake.. Am glad I've figured out how to make a cake that has only a little wheat flour in it - like 1/2 a cup - the rest is all alternative flours
1/4 cup coconut flour
1/4 cup chestnut flour
1/4 cup ground almonds
1/4 cup amaranth flour
1/2 cup quinoa flour
1/2 cup spelt white flour

I recon if I did 1/3 cups I could cut the wheat flour out :)..

1/3 cup chestnut flour
1/3 cup ground almonds
1/3 cup coconut flour

1/3 cup amaranth flour
2/3 cup quinoa

I think it's the combination of flours plus adding the dried fruit while slightly warm makes a more runny mix - which means the cake is more moist.. Cooked 3 hours at 120 degrees C
 
if i liked christmas cake then that would sound amazing!!!
 
I'm still here reading, still not great, but week 2 on withdrawal plan.. Comes with dizziness and forgetfulness, few aches and pains too - plus just got my totm .. So maybe a few aches and pains maybe that!

Def bloated due to eating bread and other stuff!
Just can't get my head in the right place.. Going to keep trying - but just know that until these withdrawal symptoms are gone - its just really hard being able to concentrate/ or be bothered.
 
Dinner went well, lamb chops and veg ., not expecting great things from WI tomorrow :(
 
Awe Hun, I feel for you, but at least you know there is a reason for how you are feeling, how long will the withdrawal take? X

Yes I'm half way now.. Thank goodness.. Looking forward to 2013.. Just started reading a book called spent.. About combating being tired all the time, a friend is reading it and said it was good!

I went to bed at 1:30 after kissing Santa goodnight ;) and my oldest son woke up at 3:45am.. Managed to convince him to wait till just now lol
