Me, Myself & I... Lower carb, fasting, real live foods

Um no.. But have tried it, not too bad really lol (dedicated addict lol) but doesn't come in 150ml small cans ;)

Been out shopping with 2 boys.., ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!! Anyway lol
Had mcds. Lunch inc diet coke - most of a crunchie Bar and more diet coke.. I do not like shopping with my children!

But got a few nice bits for presents for my niece and friends wee girl, returned all the stuff to next that didn't fit that I ordered online ..

Went to M&S and got some plain new white bras and a pretty pink 2 set .. With my Xmas money

Hubby bought me a pretty ring for Xmas - but wrong size. Went to change size and had a 1/3 off so got some money back too lol. Bloody cheek didn't want to give me the money back!! But managed to convinced them ;)

Had a smoothie for breakfast with, banana, cashew butter, coconut milk, & some Manuka honey - was nice - but next time Tini tiny wee bit honey lol my tummy got a big shock lol Going to try smoothies for breakfast.

Today not a good day and feel icky again!!

Yay, ditch that coke! It is so incredibly bad for you, I never realised how bad until fairly recently. I gave up fizzy drinks in favour of squash a while back and can't say I miss them - still always have a diet coke when I order a drink out though, lol. Hope you feel better soon. xx
 
Starting my day with a summer berry smoothie

Summer frozen berries, coconut milk, tsp cashew butter, 1/4 water. Very nice.. But!!!

It all froze together in a big lump!! Which is why it needed 1/4 cup warm water to help it blend :( lol

WS thinking of you Tara last night when I saw this. It's a wheat free cake in Nadia Sawalha's new greedy girls diet cook book. Looks very yummy

It does seem to be. Covers breakfast, lunches dinners and deserts :) lighter choices than hairy dieters, not so 'hearty' so a nice different selection.

On your recommendation I have ordered it :)

My day went down hill from about 1pm
Burger King - must say I used to love their onion ring - they are so yucky! But the double cheese burger was good .. Their burger seemed smaller and the chips were a small portion too compared to McDs - was happy it was smaller
Had 1/2 a med diet coke.

Snacks : banana, pack of next mini jelly things ate 1 and was on the phone to my bro and putting stuff away and only bits left were the yellow ones - my fingers did the walking & eating Sigh!
Plus 1 300ml can DietCoke.

Dinner
2/3 Chapati and left over lamb and onion bits from curry last night, no sauce..
Egg
Prunes in juice with custard powder made with unsweetened almond milk and tsp Manuka medicated 10+ honey - was nice I had 1/2 and made my youngest son eat the rest with a banana lol after much fuss he declared he liked it!

Dark chocolate peppermint - green & black

Kick kick kick!!!

I had my first Burger King whopper for years yesterday. No cheese or chips. I couldn't believe the calories or the fat content! 651 calories and 35 g fat!!!!!! It was horrific. The whopper with chips was about 1600 cals!!

Never again will I eat that. It wasnt even worth the calories.

I know tomorrow is tomorrow .. Can do breakfast and lunch., but dinner is at sister in laws. Almost as bad as Xmas day - will be announcing my withdrawal of funding from Diet Coke and please don't buy any more for me to drink!!

Will WI New Year's Day and start again from there!! WI day will be Fridays going forward.

Today is end of 21 days of withdrawal plan.. Tomorrow is beginning week 4 and no tramadol!! Last one to be taken tonight!

I am also going to start taking 5htp tablets (after seen doc on 7th Jan) to see if they help Perk me up! Once I've stopped the Tramadol it will be ok to take them - 50g 2x day.
 
Oh god Tara don't take 5htp! I took it for a few months. It helped me lose weight but my god I was murderous. The effect on your moods is awful. I had arguments with people at home and at work. I was like Jekyll and Hyde.

I've been told/read that they help with serotonin production and help with sleep if you take at night, and with feeling more balanced mood wise. After googling it seemed to back that up?!
 
That's why I took it. But it was awful. I became yhe crabbiest *****iest woman out there. One day I realised that it was only since if been taking those tablets. I stopped and within a week turned into my normal human self. It was amazing

A friend is using them and they are helping her, and my thought was that the Tramadol helped me feel more positive - perhaps a low dose of these will do the same - will be checking with the doctor on the 7th as from what I've read the Tramadol needs to be out of my system and that will be 7 days of no Tramadol.. So see what she advises :)

Perhaps you have good levels of serotonin (a naturally happy person) and the extra from the tablets just overloaded you???
 
Who knows. I do know I won't be repeating the mistake. If that's the feeling you want you should take St Johns Wart it's a natural Antidepressant

I just want to feel less tired, angry, irritable, and have more energy. I know that once I'm off the grains/ carbs and most of the sugars - inc. fake sugars I will feel less bloated/ heavy etc.,

WI this morning was 88.5kg (195lbs, 13St 13Oz)

Have had a good day today food wise, mostly did have some of my Xmas cake with the alternative flours.

No dietCoke today, or biscuits, sweets, bread, rice, pasta etc

Smoothie for breakfast (coconut milk, almond milk, banana, coco powder, squish sweet freedom, cashew butter) all good :).

Snack: egg, Xmas cake.

Lunch: spag courgette, mushrooms, crispy bacon, single cream with garlic powder and bit dried cheese.

Snack: dark peppermint choc, plus prunes in single cream with sliced almonds & flax mix added.

Dinner: tesco's chicken hot pot with sliced green beans, with some garlic powder.

After dinner Snack: smoothie again with some ground fax seed mixed in too. - was craving sweet stuff...

Loads cals but feeling lighter :)

My head is much clearer today, am just tired from last night and not sleeping well lately.
