My biggest goal for 2013 is to cut diet coke out of my life!!

My next biggest goal is to reduce the amount of sugar I eat, if I need to add sweet to things go for natural nature made items, honey, maple syrup, and fruit based low GI sweeteners. Or even better just don't eat items with sugar and sugar style ingredients in them!!

You are brave with the diet coke, I only have a can a day I would say but I can't imagine not having it.... Good Luck with it xx

I only buy the 150ml cans, but drink between 1-4 daily and more some times. Am putting myself on a withdrawal program lol once what I have in the house is finished, not buying any more.. That's the plan, longest I went without last time was 3 -4 mths
 
I have managed to cut down to a small glass of Pepsi max a couple of times a week, but couldn't imagine not having it hehe
 
I don't think I have two small bottles /cans in a year. I'd rather have a bottle if cold water

the only thing i have an addiction to is chocolate... and i cant drink water it has to be squash, so i guess i have an addiction to that... lol
 
No Diet coke today. No sweets or bread today..

Been feeling bit rubbish headache, back ache - had a rest and feel bit better..

Dinner roast chook and broccoli with a Yorkshire pudding.. & Gluten free gravy. Yorkshire Made with spelt flour, eggs, water and milk. Looking at recipe and is quiet low in carbs per Yorkshire. 8.2g carbs.

Still am very bloated round upper tummy area, also have upset tummy.

WI today 87.9kg.. 4.4kg up in last 6 weeks, looking forward to the day I feel better .. Nearly end of week 3 of withdrawal program.. Week 4 sees me having no more tablets .. Then back to docs on 8th Jan.

Oh wow so many addicts lol

I am craving diet coke... Water and glutamate tablets are going to help!! My self help book says so!!

Tara is it wise to stop diet come at the same time as your tablets? I know it's different but the withdrawal symptoms can be pretty naff and if you're having 2 different withdrawals at the same time you're going to feel crap

Thanks i do understand what you mean, but I feel really crap anyway., but my head is getting clearer and less cloudy - so the days that I can avoid diet coke I will - because at the moment I usual have some every day, this I want to stop and if I can change it to every other day - great!.. But I'm going to do it slowly - not cold turkey .. I know that when I drink diet coke I drink less water and that's not good for me..

Also the glutemine tablets are ment to help with cravings

If I really really want/ have to have a diet coke I will, maybe in the end I just have it at the weekend and then just on social occasions - I'm hoping that once I stop drinking so much of it that I loose the taste for it :) I'm hoping so lol
 
ive never tried the caffeine free stuff... but i can only image in tastes horrible
