get you miss motivated! x

i think i feel better having left my job as the hours were hectic. i could work 3pm - 10:30pm one day, then have to be back in at 8am then next day. i was so tiring and more regular hours will give me more time to do things. also OH has joined the gym, so when he goes to his gym i can go and do my exercising :D

thanks :)

have had a HORRIBLE day! went out last night and had a great time - got in at 4am and didn't get to sleep until gone 5! didn't drink and managed to avoid food when i got home.

woke at 12:30pm...then OH got home from football and we had a MASSIVE row over nothing! he walked out and drove away in his car, with a token wheelspin to let me now how p****d off he was! he came back a few hours later and it's all sorted now - thank god! i felt really wierd and upset as we don't really argue.

so i made a big roast dinner with crispy quorn fillets, stuffing and sprouts. we ended up with about 18 sprouts each as i got them reduced - they were big ones at that.

i start my new job tommorrow - ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGH!

Good luck for this morning and I would not like to be a passenger in your car on the way home from work if you ate that many sprouts, lol.

How was your first day ? :D

it was ok - just lots of induction paperwork and chatting. i get a laptop and mobile phone as part of my job :D that was a nice surprise!

this afternoon i went to a multi-agency meeting about a lad whose mum is a heroin addict - that was VERRRRRRRRY interesting.

i'm off to see the Youth Offending Team tommorrow morning, then spending the afternoon with an alcohol nurse.

...i've got soooooooooooo much to learn :)

Bed tester.. chocolate taster..

I am hoping to get the admin job at the local college and either do a PGCE.. which means I will have to do an evening course in a science subject or a GTP which means I will have to gain experience working with young people..

Glad your day went well.. inductions are always really tiring as lots of info

do the GTP and work part time in a youth club - that's a BRILLIANT job. i worked in one for 2 years and it was the best job i've ever had.

...i'm still working with young people now and can't imagine not doing it :D

ooooooooooh i'm off out for an italian with my half italian! :D it's my leaving do for my old job - bit late i know!

today i've eaten a banana, a yogurt and 2 mugshots.....so i won't be worrying too much about what i have. probably gonna go for spinach and ricotta cannelloni *drool*

was a bit naughty last night but could have been so much worse. i had...

couple of breadsticks to nibble on
starter: tomato, basil and mozarella salad (if there was olive oil on it i couldn't see or taste it)
main: spinach and ricotta ravioli with garlic bread
dessert: amaretto creme brulee

the main meal was crap - was just 4 big ravioli with a tomato sauce on it. i ended up finishing OH's dessert as he couldn't finish his! looking at an ok loss this week - just hope i haven't buggered it up!

glad the new job went ok, its always exciting/nerve racking starting a new job isnt it. yours sounds varied to say the least. Ems you know you say bout GTP do you not have to get a school (maybe a diff kinda workplace I dunno) to fund you to do it, or is ther diff ways, thats the way myb brothers doing it. I know my brother will work at a school teaching PE while he's there, but they pay him a lot less than a qualified teacher xxx

The way it works here is I find a school willing to take me as a supernumery teacher.. then they give me inhouse training for the year.. with involvment from the university.. mentors and assessors .. the government pay the salary. But I need experience working with young people, so I am looking into volunteering more with the Cadets or hopefully I will get the job at the college. The PGCE is another way .. am going to the college on Saturday as they have an open day.. need to find out about funding etc..

enjoy! x
