I came back a while ago but it didnt feel right somehow.. it had lost some of the friendliness for me.. so heres hoping this time xxx
 
There's been some funny spells, I've found. There have been times where a lot of the old crowd dropped off and a load of newbies were joining. I haven't ventured beyond my subscribed threads for a while so I don't really know whats going on out there!
 

i'd say. you're always here offering support, even when you're having your own struggles.

i rejoined last night and OH MY GOD i'm the heaviest i've EVER been in my LIFE! :( boooooooooo hoooooooooo i'm at a weight i promised myself i'd never get to! ....but onwards and downwards!

karen, I know how you feel. Although I haven't gone back to my starting weight I have put on about 2.5 stone of the 4 I once lost and it is very depressing. But as you say, it's a fresh start - onwards and downwards x

you've got to get your head in it taz and the rest will follow. i know my head will only stay in it for so long, so i'm going to try a few new techniques like taking photos and measurements. i've also got a hypnotherapy CD for weightloss and i'm gonna draw up a pro's & con's sheet to look at when i'm struggling.
 
Friday 8.01.10 - Green

BREAKFAST: baked beans, 2 x Cauldron veggie sausages (5 syns) and wholemeal toast (hex b)

LUNCH: butternut squash, cumin & chilli soup (2.5 syns), 3 x Pagan rolls (hexb), laughin' cow extra light (hex a) and fruit salad

DINNER: chickpea dahl with quorn pieces and plain couscous

SNACKS: gherkins, banana, mint vicount biscuit (3.5)

Saturday 9.01.10 - Green

Feeling a bit rough today - not much of an appetite.

BREAKFAST: 2 x shredded wheat(hexb), skimmed milk (hexa) and sweetener

LUNCH: 2 x w/m bread, cheese (hexa), tomatoes and beef raider crisps (3.5 syns)

DINNER: sainsbury's vegetable ravioli, quorn southern burgers (5 syns) and pineapple

SNACKS: rich tea biscuit (2 syns)

SYNS: 10.5

Thats a great idea.

Just looking at your food, have you tried the Asda veggie sausages? They do lovely lincolnshire ones that are only 1 Syn each!
 
can't remember whether i've had the asda ones - i think i might have a long time ago. i'm not so keen on the quorn ones as i think they're very tasteless...even the fancy ones! those cauldron ones are very tasty and i'd only have them for a treat really cos of the syn value... but they are sometimes worth it :)
i do eat the quorn ones though because they're free...had some this morning for brekkie.
 
Sunday 10.01.10 - Green

BREAKFAST: mushrooms, tinned tomatoes, baked beans, 2 x Quorn sausages, wholemeal toast (hex b) and ketchup (0.5 syns)

LUNCH: 3 x Pagan rolls (hexb), laughin' cow extra light (hex a) with lettuce, tomato, onion, pepper, grapes, 1 x tbsp extra light mayo (0.5 syns) and beef space raiders (3.5 syns)

DINNER: 2 egg omelette (made with water, onion and cheese (hex a)), baked beans, mushrooms and ketchup (1 syn)

SNACKS: grapes, solero (5 syns)

SYNS: 10.5

I know what you mean, I'm not so keen on the Quorn ones either. Try the Asda ones if you see them, they are really nice and great for the Synage!
 
i really do need to use my weekends more constructively. had loads of spare time to cook some food and sort my breakfast out for work, but did i do it? NOOOOOOO!!!

ended up chucking some fruit in a carrier bag for breakfast and got a tin of soup in the boot of my car for lunch! ...got a little stockpile of free foods in the boot of my car.
 
Monday 11.01.10 - Green

BREAKFAST: 2 x bananas, 3 satsumas and grapes

LUNCH: 3 x Pagan rolls (hexb), laughin' cow extra light (hexa) and a tin of asda minestrone soup (hexb)

DINNER: 2 bowls of homemade scotch broth - made with lentils, barley, carrots, potatoes, leeks and stock....very thick and gloopy and FREEEEEEEE :)

SNACKS: satsumas, homemade broth, french fries (4.5 syns), solero (5 syns)

SYNS: 9.5
