Morning Hez - yes I can all those foods. Thats the beauty of slimming world. In sw there is no forbidden foods. Most of foods are free and you can eat as much you want, when you want - no measuring or weighing needed. Only two things you need to measure and thats cheese/cream /milk and bread. Those two groups are healthy extras. Depend of plan ( there is 3 different plans on sw ) you can either have 1 of both he or 2. I get 1 as Im on EE plan. Extra easy. There is plan green for vegetarians and red plan is the original sw plan. All 3 plans work well. I havent done any red days but had few green ones.
Then you have syns. 15-25 depends of start weight / sex and consultant. I had 15 syns when I started. Man who is in my group got 25 as hes male and loses weight faster then females. I know some girls have more syns when they start at heavy weight. Its all depends of consultant at the end.
So I have 15 syn to play with in day. That makes 105 syns in week. If needed I can be flexible with syns and have few days low syn days and then day with more syns if I should need to.
Everything that is not free is syn. And Im not speaking only about treats. I syn my coffee as I use milk. I could use milk from my he but I prefer to use soft cheese as he instead.
If I want mayo on my meal I need to syn it. If I use meat that have more then 5% fat I need to syn it. Some salad dressings are syn free some are not.
Strawberries are syn free
but if you cook em or make puree or juice - it will have syn value.
If you would like to have strawberries with double cream ( and sugar) it would be a lot.
100 ml double cream is 22,5 syns
And sugar is 1 syn for 1 level teaspoon. How many we would use for 100 ml cream. I would say 5
100 ml is too much for one portion. Lets take 50 ml.
Total we would get 13,5 syn for strawberries with double cream.
If we would have fat free formage frais and sweetener instead of cream it would be total of 0 syns.
And thats how sw works. All you need to do is find replacement. Cook at home and lose weight.
I choose sw when I wasnt even here. I have done many different diets before and Yes I loose some then I slip and not able to go back. Sw seemed something I had to try. Sw seemed something where very big people - just like me- can slim down. I did not want to try something new and fail again. I wanted to make it this time. And I will
this time I will.
