Been planing a lot today. Next week meal plans. Hard to do but will do my best. Its hard as we tight with money and I dont want to eat all the time same things same time dont want to go over budget. Will have to finish it tomorrow though :)
For dinner today We had
New potatoes, fresh salad, cottage cheese, pan fried salmon. All syn free.

And for dessert I had blueberries with müller yogurt (0,5 syn), crack bread (1 syn) with nutella (4 syns) and coffee (2 syns)
Tottal 7,5 syns.

Day 1 on plan :D

Last week we got nice big salmon file from Morrison and I need to use it now. Got it out from freezer, today we had pan fried salmon. Tomorrow will make salmon soup and 1/3 I put in salt to have on bread day after tomorrow. For some reason I cant wait monday breakfast. Lol.
So far I know what I have on my meal- plan , everything else … will have to come tomorrow.

I hope link works. If not I will fix it later when I get to my laptop. Anyway - I have been seeing this recipe few times and to be honest never felt like trying it. Today however I felt that I could try. In my meal plan I had tomato omelet for breakfast with bean bread. Not big change and I did have everything this recipe needs at home.
And so it starts

Before adding eggs I give a peppers a taste and they taste very spice. Keep in mind I love spice food. I was disappointed. But as I already so far I can go to end.
Took a time to cook eggs too. I would say all together 20 min. Not something you can do in hurry.

I cut some fresh pineapple open so when food gets too spice we can cool it down a little ( may add, pineapple works very well with this Shakshuka ). When I took my plate I was thinking - it wont be my cup of tea as I did give it taste before and I was already thinking how I will write it down here for you guys. Lol
You already know what happened, dont you ? It was amazing. So so nice and after I finished my plateful I had to made myself sit down and nor to get more. It was perfect breakfast. I enjoyed it so much. Will for sure make it again. Best part is - all syn free :)

Shakshuka, crisp-bread and soft cheese (he), coffee 2 syns.
Total 2 syns.

Yes Binky, scan is for the all clear. Everything is crossed. Eek! Rita , that dress looks fab with a big F! Wow I am not going to bring down our happy (I should say Rita's) thread with any negatives. Daughter just rang and is on way home. All is OK today. Son, his wife and our granddaughter (3) may be homeless for 2 weeks while buying new house. Blimey, this could mean we will be run off our feet. I can chuck them in the spare bedroom!! I really will start getting in shape, promise! Hugs to all. Better get dressed pronto!! Bev x

Binky thank you. I do eat lots or veggies and fruits. But sometimes I think I have too many fruits. Last night I had few to many bananas. Im out of pepsi max and could not get enough of sweet bananas :)
Weighed myself this morning. And only 100 g more then yesterday. :) Im happy.

Breakfast.
Salmon sw with 2 slice of bread of 800 g loaf. 1 would be (he) and for another I get 4 syns. Fresh salad. Coffee 1 syn. Banana and syn free yougurt with chock shot (1 syn)

you really do keep on top of your food diary, bless ya. Which i think is a important part of the diet. When u can read back exactly what you ate, you can see what weeks worked better for your weight loss.
You my dear friend are doing so well with SW (still don't quite understand it lol) that in no time at all you will be at your next goal. :) xx

Will see how i get on at night time. Have 1more syn left for today. And lots of free fruits :)

Thank you Hez , it really is helpful to go back and see what I had to eat back then. At first I only had food diary and made photos too, but never put em together ;) now here I have everything together.

Now I didnt get here last night to fill my diary so will do it now =)

Salmon salad with egg and bowlful of potato chips with ketchup and mayo
Totat 3 syns , that takes me over my daily limit by 2 syns but as I said before I had few syns spear from first 2 days - so Im ok and still on plan =)

Morning Hez - yes I can all those foods. Thats the beauty of slimming world. In sw there is no forbidden foods. Most of foods are free and you can eat as much you want, when you want - no measuring or weighing needed. Only two things you need to measure and thats cheese/cream /milk and bread. Those two groups are healthy extras. Depend of plan ( there is 3 different plans on sw ) you can either have 1 of both he or 2. I get 1 as Im on EE plan. Extra easy. There is plan green for vegetarians and red plan is the original sw plan. All 3 plans work well. I havent done any red days but had few green ones.

Then you have syns. 15-25 depends of start weight / sex and consultant. I had 15 syns when I started. Man who is in my group got 25 as hes male and loses weight faster then females. I know some girls have more syns when they start at heavy weight. Its all depends of consultant at the end.
So I have 15 syn to play with in day. That makes 105 syns in week. If needed I can be flexible with syns and have few days low syn days and then day with more syns if I should need to.
Everything that is not free is syn. And Im not speaking only about treats. I syn my coffee as I use milk. I could use milk from my he but I prefer to use soft cheese as he instead.
If I want mayo on my meal I need to syn it. If I use meat that have more then 5% fat I need to syn it. Some salad dressings are syn free some are not.
Strawberries are syn free :) but if you cook em or make puree or juice - it will have syn value.
If you would like to have strawberries with double cream ( and sugar) it would be a lot.
100 ml double cream is 22,5 syns
And sugar is 1 syn for 1 level teaspoon. How many we would use for 100 ml cream. I would say 5
100 ml is too much for one portion. Lets take 50 ml.
Total we would get 13,5 syn for strawberries with double cream.
If we would have fat free formage frais and sweetener instead of cream it would be total of 0 syns.
And thats how sw works. All you need to do is find replacement. Cook at home and lose weight.
I choose sw when I wasnt even here. I have done many different diets before and Yes I loose some then I slip and not able to go back. Sw seemed something I had to try. Sw seemed something where very big people - just like me- can slim down. I did not want to try something new and fail again. I wanted to make it this time. And I will :) this time I will.

Hope you got what I was trying to say. Lol - my english is not the best but Im trying to explain myself.

As for last night and my fab day 4 dinner it was bolognese as I told before. But I got one little class of wine too. My syns were so low over the day that I could afford wine. ( was so nice, hic* ) lol

Day 5
Today I wanted something else and saw someone somewhere doing fry bread with bananas. Sound good. I made it my way of. :)
Bread ( 1 as he and other 4 syns). Eggs. Banana. Blueberries( melted in microwave , not syn'ng em ). Syn free yogurt. Mint. Chock shot 1 syn. Coffee 1 syn.
Total 6 syns. So worth it. But next time I will not use chock shot here. It was sweet enough. :)

For lunch will have left over bolognes and for dinner will make cauliflower soup. Feeling happy today :)

That sounds easy :) unless I'm reading it wrong. They have started in a town near me :) and i think when my time is up with lipotrim i will join. Lipotrim only works if you do it 100%, and i have surprised myself that i am still 100%. If that changes then its SW for me. I will keep going with lipotrim as long as i can though :fingerscrossed: , as it seems to be working. Your food pics look delicious and if they are all allowed, i know i can do SW.

Hez it is as easy as it sounds. And 100 times harder then it sounds. :) you still need to use common sense and make the right choice. But I love it :)
 
Well really its more than a diet, its a life change. They are giving you the tools to help you make the right choices. It probably is harder than it looks, but from where I'm sitting it looks easy lol oh the joys of dieting :)
