Moo's year - 24 st start and restart

Rita, just popped on for my daily fix! OH is in London having his scan. He saw his oncologist yesterday who is amazed how well he looks and that he never lost all his hair, it did get a little thin though, and he kept his beard too. I love all the recipes you show and really must try some!

And anyway you need to have 50 post before you can see someones diary. So thinking to make FB page. And put all the food photos up for her to see. Kind of exciting too. Think will start today :)

Thing is I am little worried. For week now I have been 100% on plan. And havent lost a gram. :) I know will have 1 lbs or 0,5 lbs tomorrows weight in but still. I guess its all about me being ill and not doing as much work-out as I did before. I only manage to get my 15-30 min walking done to get my sw platinum award. Other then that I have been gentle with my ankle.
Wish I could see this 18 st on scale already. … Can not wait any more :)

I'm BAAAAAAAAAAAAACKKKKKKKK

Long story short of my week away:

- Ended up in a scene that could have come straight from the Hangover on Saturday night on holiday - don't ask!!!
- 4 days relaxed with no exercise, and not really watching food / drink
- 4 days of 1000 calories burned (maybe more) and being fairly careful food wise
- Saw the man last night - was amazing. Felt skinny this morning
- Out tonight (boozy but will be good food today), tomorrow hen do at a spa (groan) will be good exercise wise and food wise and no boozing, massive boozy day sunday but will be very good food wise
- Will be back to saint Cat on Monday ready for weds weigh in

I really hope I haven't put on weight and obviously would love to have lost some. Not holding out much hope for that. Just over a month until the holiday want to be as close to 9stone as humanly possible.

Will read through the thread and all your diaries etc tonight on the train.

Rita, you are doing so well, a magical journey. That ankle is holding you back with the exercise I know but perhaps its just a little blip! I'm sure you will be losing well again soon. Could it be a plateau? It does happen I know as it has done to me and I read on the forum people who have followed their plan and still get stuck. You have come so far and I am right behind you all the way. Try not to worry or get down. You have done it perfectly taking your time. Patience my lovely! :bighug:

Hey Cat - long time no seen =) welcome back - Seems someone had nice week of - good for you , you deserve all the fun :) Im little interested in Hangover on Saturday ... but wont ask :p
As for soup I make it really easy and simple - all I use is
cauliflower, onion, garlic , veggie or chicken stock, pepper, salt ( if needed ) and if you like, you can add bacon or as I did - little pork to give it extra taste.
You could make soup creamier by adding milk or cream or even soft cheese - but I want mine to be light and dairy-free ;)
1-2 onions
4-5
clove of garlic
1 -2 cauliflower
water, salt, pepper, veggie/chicken stock
/ bacon , cream, milk,soft cheese / - optional
So peel onions and garlic , cut onion into big chunks and fry in pan until onion gets golden ( why I use big chunks is that I will blend soup later anyway . no need to worry about size of onion =) )
Same time cut
cauliflower how ever you wanted and boil up some water in kettle ( not important, but will make it little faster ) When onion is golden add cauliflower and water. I add water until it covers cauliflower by 2 cm . Add stock and let it boil until cauliflower is cooked ( 10-15 min) I use fork to check if cauliflower is soft for blending . Take off from heat and blend it. If you need more water use boil water Or if you like add cream at this point. Only if you add cream at this point , let soup to boil again. Taste add salt and pepper if needed and enjoy =). If you like to add bacon or any other meat - do it after the soup is blended. For bacon you need to cut bacon in small cubes and fry on pan until bacon is crispy - drain out fat and add bacon to your soup. Its so good and works very well with cauliflower soup. I used pork only because I did not have any bacon in house.

Let me tell you what happened today - not a big deal but still ..
So as I told you girls before Im little anxious about weight in tomorrow , and as my ankle have been bad this week I was thinking its been 7 days now- I need to test my leg. Going back to work in wen.. So we still had few morrison coupons left and I was thinking to walk there and back. its 14 km (8 mile). Something I would never done 6 month ago but did today. And I needed my last body magic too - for my shiny new award :D
Took us 2 hours and 48 min to do it. I used app to track my road :D Leg hurt badly - Im not happy with it and will give it rest but its not so much pain as it was. So here I am - thinking of printing out my fit log for tomorrow and guess what- I have this fir log only in sw web page - and no where else , 8 weeks of workouts - and I manage to RESET it - I deleted all. Everything.
So much for my award .. dont know what to do even. Will speak to my consultant tomorrow but honestly Moo - how stupid are you ??
There is one good side of this too - I will need to push myself again , if I need to start it from week 1 again , oh well - everything happens for a reason and I know what the reason is here ...
Not pointing finger to myself .. but lol - it wont change to results. Its only my own stupid mistake :)
Now its time to go and start with my dinner =)

New week is here and I have things to share. First of all I did not lose any weight this week , nor did I gain any so all is good =)

Pan fried salmon with zuccini and mushrooms, fresh salad with chilly dressing. fromage frais and dill sauce. bread and soft cheese ( he) and 4 syns for second slice of bread. Coffee 2 syns, Syn free yogurt

I was so carried away yesterday that even didnt plan my weekly meal- plan. Will do it today. Had nice chat with family and friends and they all so extremely happy for me. Honest O smiled so much yesterday that all my face was in pain by evening. Lol. Sweet pain.

Being home for this week and an half have been good for me and my hubby. I dont remember when last time we had so much fun like we have had this week. I need to remember this. When things are hard and tension is in the air for one reason or another we try to protect ourself's and building walls around us. We acting by believes that best defense is attack and sometimes we hurt our loved one. We have had worries about my hubby not working. We did not expect that he can not work here after working on that fid for 20 years. This was big back-fire for us. As our savings are not forever lasting. I have been so worried about money that I havent even notice how rude and cheeky I can be. I havent blamed my hubby for not being able to find job. I am supporting but I havent really been there for him. This week and a half made us close again. Im so happy I have him. And ofc we have calmed down a little - we manage to survive on my salary only. Just wish he could get job too.
As long as we have one another we will be fine. :)

Day 2 lunch.
Yesterday for raffle price in our sw meeting was everything you need for "Burger in a bowl"
Have made it before and its amazing thing. Nice treat. So that we had for lunch
