Moo's year - 24 st start and restart

Good morning.
Day 6 on my week. Scale is not moving. Like it was last Saturday 118,4 and so have it been all week :) 118,3 :p

Breakfast
Salad with mayo 2 syns. Tuna and mushrooms sw with melted cheese ( he). Coffee 2 syns.

It will have to move at some time. Hopefully it will do a big move lol when it does. Food looks lush :) x
 
Rita, it must be a little plateau. I am a bit worried as I have gone up 3 lbs. No surprise there! So am going to do my old trick and make up a big bowl of salad, enough for 2 days and fill my plate with that first and foremost. Sound good? I have the feeling the way you and Hez are going I will be left behind in the rush and I really wanted to lose before Christmas. :banghead:

Bev, were lagging behind you by miles. When we get near you, we will give you a push to get you going again. Lol
I cant wait to EAT! But i want the weight gone MORE :) so i will not cheat (thats a no, no). Would be nice if we could organise a big union when we all are at our goals. (For a meal and a :thankyou: for the support along the way) would be nice :) x
Rita, we should have banished the scales out of the house before we started the diet :girlpower: lol
 
Lol, Helen - at one point I was to heavy for my scales and my mother in low keep nagging about it. So we got new scale and told here , that scale is not on error anymore and I have lost weight.
But what we forgot to tell is that we just got scale that told bigger numbers :p

You will be fine Bev = )dont worry about it right now - after all that stress you and your family been through 3 lbs is nothing =) By the time of xmas you will be when you want to be , Im sure =)

Love the idea to get together one point =)
 
Bev and Cat can have fish n chips. We can have everything else on the menu lol ;) x

Feeling good.
I dont write here but I eat lot of fruts too over the day. Every day 3-5 fruits. Right now Im on apples. Had 3 already and 2 bananas. I try to not eat bananas too much. Every week I try to get different fruits from market. This week it looked like this

I get my fruit and veggies from market. 13£ for all that. Im happy :)
Maybe its too much for only 2 people but I knwo what to do with em :D xx
 
That's such a bargain. £13 for all that?! I've just done my online shopping at sainsburys and it cost about £20 for that amount of fruit and veg. How do you make potato pie? It sounds scrummy!
 
Hey Timmieatimbo - Yes thats why I do my veggie and fruit shopping at market. I go usually before market is starting to close up - 4 a clock or so. They selling 1 pound for 1 bowl - what ever it is then , but when they start to close up they give 2 bowls for 1,50
I try not to get fruit and veggies from shop if possible - unless its Morroson offer =)

I do different kind of potato pies , this time its with minced meat. Onion, garlic, carrots and minced meat fried and seasoned with salt, pepper, chilly. Then I add can of chopped tomatoes and add sweetener. I dont like sour tomato souse ;)
I peal and boil potatoes with salt. Save the boiling water. I peal and fry some onions . Use boiling water to make mach and add fry onions and butter taste fry light to give it nice taste.
Put meat into oven pan and mach on top. Cook 170 C / gas 5 for 45 min. Then if you like you can add cheese on top and cook another 10 min til cheese is golden.

This is main way I do potato pie but sometimes I use salmon instead of meat. Then I put salmon on top of mash and cover salmon with cottage cheese and egg mix.

I won raffle on my first month at se and this was in it. This is so nice. Have done it few times. I recomend to everyone :)

Thanks so much for that, I'll try it this weekend. It'd be a great meal to have before my late shifts :D
 
Thats looks lush. I am embarrassed to say i have screen shot all these lovely dishes. I really am a food stalker. I so want to make that recipe, but i only want to make it if I can eat it too :cry:
That is one of the hardest things, seeing your dishes. And thinking Rita is able to eat that and still lose weight :(, whilst I am sipping on a strawberry shake :jelous:
Maybe its time to change my diet??? And join Sw maybe! Idk (decisions, decisions) WHO exactly has the answers? They could do with telling me lol xx

Helen , moment on sadness is ok , but You know and I know and everybody else know that you wont let this moment to ruin your diet. Its so normal , you have been away from good for 66 / 67 day and thats amazing. I have no idea how you doing it, but you are , 100% on plan , no slipping UNTIL size 12/14 or 12 stone, whichever comes first :D If anyone can do it, its you. I have no doubt about you- you are strong to do this and you will =)
SW is amazing thing and I hope you find meeting one day - to go and see what they doing there. But I know you will do fine with your strawberry shakes until you reach your goal and we will be all here to see you get there =) You have all life a head to cook what ever you want , just little more to go hun , just little more to go =)
