Moo's year - 24 st start and restart

I'm spinning tonight too moo! It's a brilliant workout. Don't worry if it's difficult or you can't stand, you get better at it really quickly. Remember to just go at your own pace and enjoy it! I know I'll enjoy my class tonight!
 
So Im back and Im alive :D
I have good reason's to be alive;
1) there were no spinning class ( someone really should look at dates when that someone is booking herself into class :p
2) I got amazing 1 hour workout with a personal trainer :D

So I booked myself for next week class and was hoping to see it go today - but guess what- class was dark and empty. Dont understand only why there is different times for different weeks - maybe I just need to get to use to it. As I did plan spinning I went into gym and sit down on one of those bikes there. I dont like bikes in gym -I love to go for bike ride outside, but in gym my soft spot dont fit into seat and it hard as rock and guess what -- my soft spot is so much smaller that it even fir into seat and I could even reach for handlers ( is that the word ? )
I told you about KB class that I loved and that trainer pushed me more then others ? and that hes handsome ... :p well if I didnt I tell you now- he could see right away that Im there to train and that im strong so he give me 10 and 12 kg KB for training and pushed me more. I like when Im pushed, because I know I can do more, I cant make myself do as much as I pity myself and Im soft with myself. I had good trainer but because of my accident in august and then money problems I have to stop going. I can not afford him sadly. I paid for gym pass because I can see my body going soft and I did not work my arse off for 6 months to let it go now.
So back into today - I was on my bike ( which I did kind of like even ) and the trainer comes to me and start asking questions. How long I have been training and what Im doing today and would I like to do kb with him after I finish with my bike. Sure I wanted to do KB anyway - so YEY. This time he give me 14 kg kettlebell and made me do swings and Mason Twists with 10 kg KB. I was sweating like .. well like me with Kettlebells, lol
Sit ups and xtrainer for finish my day - 415 kcal in hour.
Thing is this guy from gym wants to train me and said he will send me info about everything on my email. And next tuesday I have class with him. Will see how it goes as I really need trainer, but Im really broke. He said it will cost me 15 pounds a week , but maybe I miss understood and it was 50 .. Will have to ask him when he sends me email. I could find 15 pound extra for week but not 50. Not now anyway.

Work-out was great and as I feel so happy I made chickpea curry for lunch - sorry Waffle :) and it was amazing !!
Question - do I use word amazing too often ? You must forgive me as I only learned how to spell that word few weeks ago :D

Curry really was very nice and I will do it again for sure

NB - all my big clots were given away today - including my winter coat. So there is no way I can go back - I will have nothing to wear :D

Wow what a post, I am so jealous nice sexy man at gym just comes up and helps with your workout! At my gym they just leave you to it not nice and helpful/friendly like that!

I've always loved the idea of a personal trainer I hope he is £15 not £50!! £15 a week is still quite a lot isn't it? £60 a month roughly!

Your chickpea curry looks really nice, I hope you are sending me some haha!! Did you use canned chickpeas? Was it easy to do?

Lol 15 pounds or 50 - I hope it's the former! Even if money's tight, I'd recommend going for a few sessions - it can really help having someone show you the ropes and get motivated!

Me too Timmi =) As I pay 29 per month as it is another 50 a week would be too much. I will have his class next week for sure, we will find founds or if it is 50 then I will have hes KB anyway =) Do you pay 25 for personal trainer Timmi ? My last trainer was 20 pounds a week - but that was only 2 X 45 min class. Ofc it was so worth it as he pushed me a lot. But other hand hes classes take place in small caffe second floor, hehehe - I did love it there, but no where to change of wash - that all makes things little uncomfortable.

Think is that for me 15 and 50 sound kind of the same ;) I was sure he said 15 when he said it but when I got home I was thinking maybe it was 50 , lol

Waffle - yes I use canned chickpeas and I did add some chili beans too , to give it little extra kick. It was not hard at all- by the time I finish boiling rice my curry was ready =)
i used this recipe as base and added extra beans , fresh coriander , changed fresh tomato to canned one and added sweetener - as I do not like raw taste of can tomatoes =)

Anyway - Zumba is waiting for me starts in 30 min , ast shake offs before WI tomorrow and I better get my award :)

I was thinking the same , but i really would like to have trainer there for longer then few times as I need more pushing to work at 100% =)

And then I did try to do banana pancakes but this was total disaster.
All I got was banana scrambled eggs. Lol. Tasted nicely but look horrible and I did not want to make photo.
Will add 10 syn for that tho. Would say it was not worth it but as I feel happy and full I will have to say it was worth it :) and only because I have not used my syns today :)

Sounds like a great workout with the PT! Hope it is affordable for you.

I'm too manipulative for personal trainers! Don't push myself as hard as when it's just me working out.

Cottage cheese in soup is really nice but you must remember I can not live without cottage cheese so maybe its only me, lol. As ginger soup is pretty spice I add cottage cheese to take make it little less spice . I add 2 spoon full of cottage cheese per serving and usually I dont mix it into soup. No cottage cheese do not melt but it will have little rubbery texture and I like it.
Dont worry about mango - its not so much either and it is superfree so enjoy and if you like have one more and enjoy some more :D

Seljanka is russian heaven =) Ill add a link for very good recipe but ofc everyone do it little different and I do it little different too but this is very very good one to look at

Estonian Cooking and Eating: Seljanka

Seljanka can be done from meat / in original seljanka have 7 different types of meat in it, including heart and kidney of big or cow if you like to , different kind of sausages and wieners, meat beef and pork, salami/
But you can do fish seljanks then you will need different kind of fish /red fish and white fish / smoked fish and fish from cans are not suitable here
And then there is mushroom seljanka - again different types of mushroom - it will be very nice with salted wild mushrooms. We have 110 different mushroom in our forest and we use to eat em more. In here I can see only different kinds of button mushrooms or maybe just in those shops where I go there is not much to choose from.

Seljanka
Onions
sour pickles
olives
capers
lemon
tomato paste
and what ever you choose - meat , fish, mushroom
spices ( salt, pepper, bay leaf, (stock if needed ) , sugar ( sweetener ) , allspice

I start by slicing onions and frying them on slow heat about 30 min. Then add them sliced pickles. You can not put pickles and onions on pan at the same time because pickles will not let onions to go golden then and sweet. Thats why it is important to fry onions first. Ok- i add pickles and let them fry another 10-15 min. Then I add tomato paste and sweetener. I do no like sour taste of tomato paste , thats why I always add little pit of sweetener ( sugar when I cook something with tomatoes ). Few min then I add olives- you can slice them or leave as it is, your choice. Capers. Let this be on pan about 10 min, until everything is nice and thick.
This is the base for seljanka , you can deepfreeze it if you like and take it out next time. Or you can make it into soup right away.
Now depends what kind of soup you making - for fish and mushroom one, you just need to add water and let it to boil. Season with salt, pepper, allspice and bay leafs and stock cube if needed. When soup is boiling add fish or pre-fried mushroom mix. Lemon wedges and let soup to boil another 5 min . Done - serve with sour cream and fresh herbs .

If you want meat soup then there is few ways you can do it. Either like the link I shared - you boil your stock from bones, you boil meat and later cut them into small cubs and add to soup. Or you use sausages only.
Some people add potato too into soup. I dont like it , but you can if you like to.
Decent seljanka takes 2-3 hours to make and is so so worth it. But you can do speedy version with sausages or chicken (chicken is not really good for this soup and soup itself is so rich, chicken will just stay too dry and kind of tasteless in this soup )
For SW way of this soup would be without olives and sausages. Using dark meat only- pork or beer or both. Or fish or mushrooms.

Think I got everything in there , but again Im a chef and some things that seems so natural for me may look little odd for others, any questions - please ask =)

So today I did my round in gym and spent 280 kcal in one hour. I did my KB swings and boy it really is hard to do them with decent weights. Well , its only start and Im sure soon Im able to do more.

People in my WI are so nice to me and saying I look great and beautiful and all I can say is thank you and thank you- Sometimes I feel I need to say more , but what else there is to say. One girl joined us last week - sorry I do not know her name. She come in with her mom and I think she is same weight that I was when I started.She looks about the same to me. I sit next to them last week and so did today and before class started they asked me right away how much I have lost. And when I said 1,5 lbs the girl told me - you got your 6 st award then. She must have remembered it from last week. Im surprised but maybe thats good thing, maybe then she can get motivation to keep going. They asked if I have photos to show and I found the before and after photo that was made at 5,5 st. They were amazed and said they cant believe I was that size - nor can I , tbh.
Consultant asked what is the best thing happened after I lost 6 st - what have changed. I do not know what is the BEST thing as there is so many things that are good, but what is the best ???? I said that my legs dont hurt so much anymore as this is the thing I really can be happy about. Everything else is good too, ofc but constant pain in legs is something I ever want to get back to. My legs hurt so much that I could not sleep , I kept rubbing them all night and in morning my first steps out of the bed were so painful that I had tears in my eyes. Working 12 hours in shift is hard, but working 12 hours in shift when you weight over 25 st is dam hard. I was smoking so much - 2 packs a day. Only to be able to sit down. Im one of those smokers who can stop when ever they want.
I never smoked at home or when I had day off or holiday - I did not care for nicotine but at work -2 packs in 12 hours - only to get change to sit down , this is so wrong, but thats how it was. I dont smoke anymore- stop smoking when I moved to UK . I have e-sigar but I dont enjoy it , so it just there, just when I want to have it.
Other hand - give me night with girls, my dear bottle of red and I will be smoking like chimney :D its the company that make me want to have a smoke.

Anyway back to today - our consultant asked us to do challenge for this week
to have 15 speedy and superspeedy foods in day. And I will do my best to stay on that challenge.

So thats 8 s form 15 done already =) will need to think what to have for another 7 :D

Thank you hun , I did work hard and its so nice to get that 6 st award at last. It have been teasing me for weeks now =)
 
Moo I'm so so pleased for you! Yaaaaaayyyy! I'm at working this weekend and that's the best news I've heard!
