Good luck for wi.Busy day for you then! Sorry to hear that about your car tyre but I'm impressed you know how to change it ;0)

Yes will be a busy one - hopefully I can get it all done. There's always that bit in the middle when you have stuff everywhere and just wish you hadn't started it!

I did a car maintenance course years ago when I divorced my first husband - was determined to be VERY independent! :p I replaced a whole ignition and starter system on the car I had then (that was in the days before it was all electronic). I don't like changing the tyre though so I usually stand looking helpless and wait for someone to take pity on me, but it's nice to know you can do it if you have to.

Good luck for WI xx

Thanks Nessa. Will report in once the deed is done! Still in bed catching up on Minis and drinking green tea, which is bad when I have so much to do today, but I do love the school holidays!

Get out of bed and go and WI!! Lol I'm just jealous I wish I was still in bed!! Xx

Right ladies... teeth cleaned and eyebrows plucked (well, every little helps!)

The verdict is... another pound gone! It's official - I am the one pound a week Queen!

That leaves me one and a bit pounds to go to get into the 14 stone something bracket. I really would like to do it next week, as the week after hubby has two weeks holiday and I wanted to be 14st something by then. We're not going away but you know how you get a date in mind...

I was hoping to lose 1-and-a-half this week which would only have left me one pound to go next week. Still my scales are digital, so one and a quarter (or even a tenth!) would do next week, as long as it says 14 something!

Right off to warm up on the Wii fit, then do some weights, crunches and some Zumba-ing. Arrrrrrrrriba!

Thanks Ladies, I'm chipping away at it gradually!

Hmmm - not sure about the Zumba Nation - the Wii Fit remote would not fit in the belt no matter how hard I tried, so I gave up on that idea and just started the tutorials. Would have liked a bit more 'tuition' rather than just watching and copying, and also it kept stopping every so often to ask if I wanted to skip ahead or carry on - which was a bit annoying tbh. So I thought I might wait 'til I get the Zumba Nation 2 from the Library as I've heard it is better with more advice. Then I thought I'd have a try at a training vid on YouTube for Zumba, but my broadband decided to pick that moment to die, and a buffering video where the sound and movement are out of sync is not ideal when you are trying to dance in time with it! I reckon I managed about 10 - 15 mins in total, but it was a bit stop/start! Had also done some mixed stuff on the Wii and 30 mins weights and crunches, so that will do for today!

Fab day, well done with the exercise too - technology these days, pff :)

LOL! I emailed the Broadband supplier (couldn't face the phone call queue!) and they have replied to say there is a fault on the line and they will need to do some more tests. This fault could be causing the slow speed. I should have tried to copy her exactly - would have looked like a jerky Zumba-ing robot!

Well done and so close to the 14's, sure you'll get there next week xx

Thanks Claire, I hope so, although have got a meal out at the Indian tonight with step-son and his wife. I'm going to go through the Eating Out book in a while to see what looks best - probably a dryish dish like a Tandoori, and step away from the poppadoms!

Quick question... those of you who post direct from your phones, do you 'see' Likes? I'm just wondering because I often 'Like' a post and I have read on another thread somewhere that you can't see everything from your phone and can't register a Like. Just wondering if you can see them.
