MWWWD (or Moonwatcher's Weight Watchers Diary!)

Yey that's good news, 8 Weeks sounds reasonable from what I picked up from Atomics Thread, I bet you have lots of yummy delights planned :) x

Yep. One week down already! With the food I am eating I can't see it being too taxing. LOL

I'm staying here! You can't get rid of me lol

I'm finding it very interesting xxx

I'd be living in Dominos Pizza if I was doing a Reset! I've already got my Goal Meal planned lol x

25 Calories over, is that all! Wow! That sounds like a fab days worth of food and drink! X

I know. It is surprising what you can have for that amount of calories. The weekend has been a bit snacky, but I will be back to more planned meals tomorrow.

Hehe. Yes definitely stay! If you go back a few pages I did explain it in more detail there, if you fancy a long read!

If I had a partner working for Dominoes I would be the size of the buses he is driving now! I remember him working with the ice cream when you were last on here. Buses sound a lot more WW friendly!

Yes much more! Although he is the one putting the weight on now as he is sitting down all day!! Xx

Sitting here watching X Factor and wishing I had something to nibble on as 'The Hunger' has struck. Making my cider last at the moment. No fruit in the house except frozen plums. Debating whether to have a little something while watching Downton as I don't think going to sleep hungry is a good idea, especially during a metabolism reset. It will take me over my calories by a bit more, but I was down on the scales again this morning.

I love my Dominos Pizza, I normally have a Small for 24pp but last week (whilst pressing self destruct) I had a Large for 52pp lol. X

Just been catching up, I'll be interested to see how this pans out. I think a lot of us are guilty of being serial dieters. Your food always sounds so yummy.

We were given a bag of pears yesterday while out walking, any suggestions gratefully received on what to do with them lol!

I always make Pear Crumble when I get a lot of pears, probably not the healthiest solution lol x

Glad the christening went well. I am impressed with their cheese selection :) Although I would have lost the plot surrounded by that much kiddie noise :/ I am not good around rowdy kids. Or any kids really... ;)

Serena - its interesting how when the notion of deprivation is removed from your eating you don't end up falling face first into the naughty choices you thought you would. I think I base more of my food decisions on what classes as "good nutrition" than I ever did when eating less calories.

I am probably the only person but really not a fan of Dominoes pizza. The sauce tastes a bit wierd to me and there is always far too much of it. And they are so expensive. Our local place pizza place of great though. Minimal amount of really fresh tasting sauce, generous toppings and 2 nine inch pizzas delivered to my door for the princely sum of £7.50. Its amazing we don't succumb more often!

OMG at those pizza price Atomic! I think I'd be moving my bed in there ;-) Its very interesting that the more freedom you have the less you actually need it! The saying 'Ive never struggled so much with my weight until I dieted' is so so true! X

I remember when I moved into my student flat in London a couple of years ago and saw the takeaway across the street. You got a huge burger and chips for about £3.50 and I thought that was excellent, and I started going there quite a lot. That was the start of my recent weight problem :( when I moved back to Essex I continued over-eating!

Personally I think Papa John's is the best, but I can't have pizza any more due to my IBS/lactose intolerance. It's a good thing really as Papa John's was draining my wallet and making me put on weight :p

Ooh, large pizza...yum

It is definitly true that my real weight problems didn't start until I began dieting! I will report in regularly on how I am getting on.

Pear crumble does sound good! I love pears poached in a ginger syrup, or a coffee syrup (can use sweetener to keep the points down) and then served on top of a thin slice of ginger, fruit or chocolate cake (the Jamaican ginger loaf cake -McVities? - is especially good.) Top it all with a squirt of spray cream. Really tasty pudd!

I have always fancied trying a 'fruit leather' - if you Google it you'll find info about them. You could try drying some as well. I have never frozen pears -I wouldn't imagine they would work very well frozen.

Although I work with kids all day it was too much for me too, especially with the four day headache I was suffering! Teenagers are easier! Fortunately the headache has finally gone.

Never had a Papa John's. Tbh I like my own home made ones the best - but sometimes you just want someone else to do the work, and then bin the cardboard box! Burger and chips for £3.50 is good.

Monday 22nd September.

Gave in a bit last night as I was quite hungry - not just 'fancying' something. I wanted something instant though, so grabbed a couple of slices of ham and a handful of crisps (probably nearer two handfuls actually).

This morning the scales were up by 2.8 lbs, but I am OK with that. I have had several days eating over my TDEE this weekend, and quite a bit of snacky food. Also the reset is about the longer term picture - not the daily ups and downs. I expected to gain some over this two month period, and I think it is quite likely I'll see some more ups and downs over the next 7 weeks.

Today's food

Breakfast - 1 slice of Genius gluten free seeded loaf, with butter, as soldiers for 2 soft boiled eggs (AKA dippy eggs and soldiers), one and a half cups of earl grey tea with s/s milk

Morning tea-break - 1 Mrs Crimble's coconut macaroon with a cup of earl grey and milk

Lunch - 2 more slices of the Genius bread made into a sandwich with cheddar and Branston pickle, another macaroon, one small moccacino from machine at work

Went food shopping straight from work, as finally my headache had subsided, and restocked on fruit and veg and a few gluten free goodies, plus some salmon, chicken drumsticks, ham, chorizo, cheese, Nakd bars, all the essentials! Picked up some swede halves (very big ones) reduced to 9p each! Have got pork and beef in the freezer from the local butchers last week (2 hands of pork for about £5.50 and two rolled brisket of beef for £11 - all decent sizes, so some roast dinners are on the menu this week)

Anyway back to today - snack in the car on Morrison's car park - 1 Nakd Cashew Cookie bar and a slice of ham (not together!)

Dinner after unpacking the shopping, and doing some washing and ironing, - 3 rashers bacon, one gluten free sausage, tomatoes, chestnut mushrooms, fried egg, followed by a Morrison's gluten free ginger cake slice, warmed with custard, one gala apple.

Other drinks - water, two sips of OH's cider

Total calories - 2164, 4 calories over TDEE. Plenty of food there for the calories.

Very tired today - night night all.

A great day food wise YUM!!! Night Hun xx
