My fishy week!

Hmmm, I might give a fish week a go next week.

I have tuna, salmon, basa, haddock and prawns in the freezer, and tinned salmon and tuna in the cupboard... time to dig out some recipes!

sainsburys topped and crusted cod for 3.5 syns each

I'm not really a fishy person - but thought I would try these as they looked they they had nice toppings and I loved them! x

Step away from the scales!!!!! I've heard some great reports about fishy weeks, a lady at my group swears by them. Let us know how you get on

I've been doing it since thursday. My wi on Wednesday. I had a sneaky peek but don't think it has made any difference.

I have weigh in tonight and then as of tomorrow am going to try and do a fishy week.

The main reason for me wanting to do it was the reports that it's meant to boost your weight loss (though did quite well last week anyway and sneak peek this morning said again this week too). Secondly, I have sooo much fish in the freezer at the moment and I really need to free up some space in there!

So, last night being able to eat meat for the next week... what shall I have for my dinner then?! ;)

I was hoping so. WI tomorrow morning so will let you know. x

0.5lb on so that didnt' work did it!!!!
So fed up its untrue. I walked out of class (i always stay) and at this point, haven't decided if i'm every going back!

Nooooooooooo please don't give up honey. I had a 0.5lb unexpected gain one week and to this day i still don't know why. I know it's easier said than done but don't give up. If I'd have given up I would be right back at square one and probably a little bit more besides. Instead im now 4lb away from target

0.5lb could just be water retention x

Just soooo frustrated. I've been behaving sooooo much, the fishy week was quite expensive not to mention, my family hate fish so had to do seperate meals. This on top of doing NO exercise before sw - now do at least 2 Zumba classes a week (as well as something else if i can) -

Just don't no what else i can do!!!!

After I had my gain I dropped my exercise and my weight loss picked up :sigh:! I slowly introduced it back in about 8 weeks a go as week got a dog so I walk a couple of miles with him everyday and Ive just bought a vibration plate to help me tone.

Our bodies really do work in mysetrious ways sometimes x

My weight always goes in two weekly cycles so stick with it and see how next weeks weigh in goes!
Also your body doesn't KNOW you're trying to lose weight and may be reacting to the change in diet!
And according to a nutritionist I heard on the radio it takes 10 days for excess cals to show on the scales, if it takes that long to go in I reckon it must take at least that long to come off!

Please please don't give up. I've been doing SW since April and I have had gains.

You have just got to take it on the chin and say new week new start.

Don't see SW as a quick fix. We will al get there in the end. x

Wasn't wanting or expecting quick fix, but when your behaving / trying sooo hard & getting no where! it feels like whats the point!
