Good for you. I am going to keep going with it. Only had one fish meal yesterday and only planning one today.

I am going to do a fishy week i think - i always had a great loss when i did that! :D

FISH FISH FISH!!!!

Got to try and plan my meals and then order the fish! :D

The fishy week wasn't that great for me when I did it, could be because of the amount of red days prior to it
I've had a bit if a stagnant, add, lose, STS, add, lose - I agree, it's so frustrating, and makes you feel so despondent.
Please hang in there, I persevered and last week lost 3.5lb. I upped my ss a bit, but just carried on as I had been -
What I'm trying to say is - it will show, if not this week, or even next week, but if you stick to it I promise you'll see it

Day number 3 of the big fish face off... and I'm struggling already! Although I think that may be due to me feeling a little under the weather and craving comfort foods!

Going to try and stick with it for the whole week if I can but not sure it's good to be struggling after only 2 full days!

I've had some good losses doing fishy week in the past and I basically gave up meat for the week. I mainly did extra easy days so yes included carbs, and I'd have 2 fishy meals a day (sometimes breakfast rather than lunch - I.e. Smoked salmon and eggs, sardines on toast) or quorn if I was struggling to manage 2 fishy meals on a day. HTH

For fishy week, i would have fishy 2 meals out of 3. and Stick to the Red day plan rules.

So a day may go like this:

B - omelette with mushrooms and tomatoes
L - Salmon Fillet and salad with mayo
D - Baked or Poached Cod, Jacket Potato and Veg

I'm planning on doing this but the only fish I like it tuna... would this work for me?

x

How many types of fish have you tried? I'd get pretty bored of Tuna! Actually I hate Tuna so I wouldn't get bored lol!
Grilled trout fillets are lovely Esp if the edges crisp up.
Mackerel fillets taste wonderful on a bed of toms, peppers, onions, garlic and a lemon quartered then roasted in the oven.
Kippers that you buy from the fishman in Tesco are SP much nicer than the boil in the bag ones! I roast the fillet with large flat mushrooms and cherry tomatoes oh they are lush!

I do like the fish you can get from the chippy lol?

But not really much of a fish fan from what i've tried.. it tastes too much like it smells if that makes sense?

I had to improvise a bit when I did fishy week as my hubby doesn't like a lot of fish, so I ate lots of seafood - prawns, squid, mussels etc.
Also did lots of 'hidden' fish dishes, like smoked haddock kedgeree, fish pie, pollock baked with chorizo in a sauce in the oven.

If you like chippy fish then you'd probably like most White fish like cod, haddock, pollock, so you could try a few dishes with these

Yeah I know, I love the smell and taste of fish just not tuna, it makes my teeth squeak!

Why not try having SF soup for lunches then different tuna meals in the evening!
Tuna fish cakes
Tuna pasta
Tuna steak and chips
Etc

Oh and fish always tastes better with a squeeze of fresh lemon!

Jodieboo - what days wi day?
Are you enjoying your fishy week?
I liked it but only did red days so really missed carbs lol x
