My fishy week!

Have you already planned what you're having ???
I love fish, and always after new ideas - hopefully I can knick some ;-)


Debridger - I am just in the process of doing a meal planner for next week will post on here when its completed...

I am doing 2 out of 3 meals
 
I WI on Mondays :) I am quite enjoying my fishy week, i'm only having one meal of fish a day though, so i'm not sure if i'm doing it right x

i'm sure it'll still help! super low fat / superspeed food x
 
Going to do a fishy week this week... Will have a scroll through for ideas then post my meal plans!
Would love a 4lb loss after my gain this week :-(
 
First day of my fishy week:

Breakfast:
WM toast with scrambled eggs and tomatoes

Lunch:
Huge salad with M&S hot smoked salmon - 1 syn

Dinner:
Salmon baked in foil with pepper, red onion and spring onions, and sweet chilli (1 syn)
Asparagus, jersey royals, peas

Very yummy and looking forward to day 2!
 
When I make a curry I always add onions, mushrooms and stir some spinach through at the end to add some superfree. If that isn't enough, try having sim beforehand :)
 
Resurrecting this old thread as it seems such a damn good idea!
Started this morning after a trip to costco yesterday (not the brightest idea to start on a Monday when the usual weigh in day is Friday!
May well weigh late this week!

Yes as planning a full week but Friday is my weigh day normally so will see how I get on see if it is worth continuing - have done it once before and seen good results but wasn't strict as sticking to it very long
 
I've been having a mostly fishy week after a naughty weekend away! Will let you know what happens when I weigh in tomorrow, but it hasn't been entirely fish.

I've had:

Fish pie
Prawn curry
Spiced cod and chips
Chilli and garlic tuna steak
Prawn stir fry
Salmon and prawn skewers
Salmon and veg and Philly pasta
Turkey enchiladas (oops)
Cous cous with veg and feta (oops)

So not 100% fish, but very yum! I have noticed that I haven't been as bloated or gassy as usual, and I wasn't a huge fish lover before but now me and the OH are really into it! Will update tomorrow :) x

Hope you all don;t mind, i would like to join in with having a fishy week and sharing ideas..... I am going to try and have at least one meal a day thats contains fish, be it be breakfast, Lunch or Dinner....

Prawn curry
Tuna Salad
Fish and SW Chips
Mackerel in Tomato Sauce with Salad
Cod and Rice with Veg
Jacket Potato with Tuna and Salad
Mackerel on Toast

Any other ideas most welcome, (don;t like Samlon)
 
I'm definitely up for this! Will start on Friday after Thursday's weigh in. Only prob is trying to get variety as we rarely eat fish, and when we do it's the battered kind from the chippy!
 
Day two of fishyness all going well so far - have planned food until WI Friday will reassess then
Fish will be dinner and tea with normal breakfast type stuff.......
Mon
D- prawn omelette & Crabsticks
T - youngs Cod in parsley (1.5 syn) with
another portion of cod to bulk it out
Tues
D - Youngs cod in parsley (1.5 syn) bag of
steamed veg & Crabsticks
T - salmon fillet with veg
Wed
D - tinned salmon on hexb scan bran
T - cod in lemon & herbs, veg
Thurs
D - prawn & spinach omelette
T - salmon & veg (and phili on top - A)
Fri
D - Salmon on hexb scan bran
T - chippy fish with no batter and veg OR chippy king prawn omelette for 6 syns for oil
