My very own food diary...the 'will succeed' challenge!

Day 106: (Friday 27th April 2012)

Breakfast: porridge (HEb) and skimmed milk (HEa), 1 banana (SuperFree!)

Snack: Special K cereal bar, 1 plum and some strawberries (3 syns)

Lunch: on a work training course, buffet lunch provided but was quite good I think, avoided all the biscuits and cakes! - working it out I had: half a wrap (4.5 syns), wholemeal bread (6 syns), butter/dressings used etc (4 syns), fillings were chicken and prawns (both Free!) with lettuce, cucumber and tomato (SuperFree!) and heaps of fruit!! - plums, pineapple, watermelon, strawberries (all SuperFree!)

Dinner: homemade SW style burgers - lean mince, SW chips (potatoes), frylight (all Free!), onions, lettuce, cucumber, tomato (all SuperFree!), soft white roll (7.5 syns)

Drinks: Water and tea with milk (remainder of HEa)

Total Syns: 25
 
Day 107: (Saturday 28th April 2012)

Breakfast: 1 banana, pineapple, strawberries and raspberries (all SuperFree!) with low fat natural yogurt (Free!)

Snack: oatibix bar (3 syns)

Lunch: toasted bolognaise (leftovers!) sandwich - 2 small slices wholemeal bread (HEb), lean mince (Free!), tomato passata, onions, mushrooms (all SuperFree!), butter (1 syn), velvet crunch (4 syns), a chocolate Freddo :D (5 syns)

Dinner: Roast dinner (a day early as busy tomorrow!) - chicken, potatoes, parsnips, fry light (all Free!), swede, carrots, broccoli (all SuperFree!), gravy (2 syns)

Drinks: Water with NAS squash, diet lemonade, tea with skimmed milk (HEa)....and about to have a glass of rose (6 syns)

Day 108: (Sunday 29th April 2012)

Breakfast: porridge (HEb) and skimmed milk (HEa)

Lunch: fry up sw style! - 2 half fat sausages (4 syns), 1 slice wholemeal bread (3 syns), bacon with fat trimmed off (Free!), baked beans and 2 eggs (Free!), tomatoes and mushrooms (SuperFree!)

Snack: 4 weight watchers cookies (5 syns)

Dinner: we went out for dinner with friends - skipped the starter, went for main of seabass (Free!) with leeks and cherry tomatoes (SuperFree!) and new potatoes (Free!) (but added 4 syns for oil used in cooking). Dessert - went for a banoffee style eton mess - banana (SuperFree!), meringue (6 syns), cream (18 syns!)

Drinks: diet lemonade, diet coke, water with NAS squash and tea with skimmed milk (remainder of HEa)

....back on the wagon again after the weekend!

Lunch: chicken sandwich - chicken (Free!), 2 small slices wholemeal bread (6 syns), light mayo (0.5 syns), velvet crunch (4 syns), fruit salad - pineapple, raspberries, apple, kiwi (all SuperFree!)

Dinner: chinese takeaway - beef with mushrooms (4.5 syns), boiled rice (Free!)

Drinks: LOTS of water with NAS squash

**Went to weigh in - lost 0.5 pounds...pretty good considering I ate nearly double my syns this week!...came back and ate a hifi peanut deluxe (6 syns) before embarking on 10 syns a day week!!**
