My Weight Loss Journey

time2bslim: Thanks :) Don't look at my diary this week though as I haven't been good :cry:Last night the kids took out the Cubed Kit Kats and had a few of them. They are all finished so no more temptations like that around.

WI tonight- praying for an STS, but we'll see. Whatever happens tonight, need to have a 100% week this week. I have my OH's brother in law coming over tomorrow and living with us (which means loads of guests coming the next few weeks, so really will be testing times). Thinking about joining a gym, but just waiting for my little one to start school full time (next month hopefully).

So today's menu:
Green-
Breakfast- 42g All Bran (HEB) with skimmed milk (HEA), pear
Lunch- Big Bowl of Veggie Soup, omelette
Snack- Activia FF yogurt
Dinner (after WI)- Rice with Moong Dhal curry, Yogurt with chopped tomatoes, cucumber and onion
Snack - 2 Alpen LIghts (HEB) with Green Lemon tea, Mini Twister (2 syns)

Water: 1.0 litre
Exercise: None

WI results: .5lb gain. Well I was hoping for an STS, but that is not too bad considering how off plan I've been this week. Really need to concentrate this week and go back to basics. Need to up my water intake and just focus on 100% at each meal. There are 18 big meals (not including snacks) left I need to plan carefully this week, it can't be that hard can it and I've done it before. Need to keep thinking about the lady in my class tonight who said I have toned legs and I look like a ballerina..lol....

i did *big sharp intake of breath* because i thought it said 5lb gain!! ballerina legs hey :p ask oh what he thinks about that! ;) xxx

No way...not 5lbs!!! Then I'd definately be .
Yeah guess the first thing I told OH when I got through the door...about the ballerina legs...he just kept looking and smiling and asking how come she said that.:break_diet:

Plan, Plan and plan again Meli and this time next week you will weigh less.

Its been a great revelation to me this past couple of weeks planning all my menus and shopping.

You know how to do it and you can do it so good luck x

popping by to say hi. you must be pleased with the 4.5 stone loss so far!!

Hi Meli

I am gonna join you by meal planning this week. DD2 starts school tomorrow and then its just me and DD3 at home. During her nap i will meal plan and tesco shop accordingly.

Heres to mixing it up, trying new recipes and a good loss next week!

x

You know you're SO going to have a huge ass loss next week! I read every single number in your signature last night (insane boredom, I also think I am borderline insomniac?) and was really impressed!

Starting a new thread on a Manchester meet, would you be interested? xxx

I know you haven't asked me but i'll come :D:D could do with a trip away for the day x it would be fun to meet people thats if you are opening it up of course :D

Thanks for all your messages and sorry didn't get to post yesterday and wasn't going to post today as I've had 2 really crap days foodwise. Need a proper kick up the bum to get back on track. More sweets seem to be coming from everywhere and everyone coming to see OH's brother in law and tempting food too, so it's almost close to impossible and it's only going to get worse this weekend and the next 2 weekends. If I want a loss need to get back on track from now on. Really need some willpower!!!!

About the Manchester meetup sounds great, just let me know ahead of time ;)
Would be lovely to meet up but once you get the details of where, just pm us as I wouldn't want any wierdos from the net showing up!!

*kick up bum*!!!

Cmon hunnn! You are SO close now, you know you can stick to it... Prepare yourself some SW friendly stuff before the BIL gets here, that way you can make stuff for him and everyone else, but yours is already taken care of :) I'm sure he won't notice if there's no oil in the salan! As long as everything tastes wonderful... people might even ask you for your secrets and you can just say 'well, between me and you, I don't use oil, I find flavours come out very rich and much yummier when I don't!' and they can't argue with that :)

Well the first day BIL came I made tandoori roast (so that was healthy- should have just stuck to that) and some chickpea/chicken rice and some mutton curry with naan. I had some vegetable soup and I could have had that, but gosh the other food was so tempting.
Gosh curry without oil for these folks is like a pizza without cheese. Didn't help that I made prathis with butter this morning either!!! Tomorrow BIL starts his course, so he won't be around as much, so hopefully can stick with it :sigh:

yes, you're soooo close to your goal! if you can lose 60 pounds, you can lose the last 25 pounds!

Feeling a bit more motivated today and had a 100% breakfast, lunch went just okay and hope that dinner will be 100% today.

Green day-
Breakfast- 42 All Bran (HEB) with skimmed milk (HEA), pear
Snack- banana
Lunch (with my friend)- Spinach and Ricotta Ravioli with half a piece of bread, 3 dough balls (maybe I can count this as a HEB???) and 4 chips
Snack- Activia FF yougurt
Dinner: Quorn Sausages, Mushrooms and AH Cous Cous (.5 syn)
Snack- Fruit salad, not having any more syns today just in case

Water- 1.0 litre
Exercise: None

A better day yesterday, let's hope I can keep at it 100% today. Will be running around like a headless chicken as I have about 6-7 of OH's cousins coming along and spending the night over, which means a lot of cooking for me. I also volunteered to take in some food for charity so my day will be in the kitchen most of the time!!! Bought lots of fruit to nibble on while I'm cooking.

Red Day today:

Breakfast- Fruit and yogurt
Lunch- 16 Crabsticks and 6 WG Ryvita CrackerBread (HEB)
Snack (while cooking)- fruit
Dinner: Fried Egg, Mushrooms and Grilled Chicken Thighs with 1 Warburton Wholemeal toast (.5HEB)
Snack- 1 Alpen Light (.5 HEB)with Green Lemon Tea, frozen blueberries
No syns today to make up for my naughtiness these past few days!

Water: 1.0 litre
Exercise: Sweating in the kitchen!!!

I like your exercise - *thumbs up*!

Hope you haven't had to slave away too much, a helping hand is always nice :) Also hope you haven't been tempted off track, but if you have, there's always tomorrow :) xxx

Haven't had much time to give in to temptations really....6 of OH's cousins (all guys) got here last night and by the time they got here I was sleeping (but had already cooked everything). They were still awake cracking jokes at 4am and I woke up and just put everything in the dishwasher and then just went back upstairs to get a few more hours rest. Then woke up this morning and OH suggested I make prathi for everyone (was going to strangle him as I had planned on just making bread and eggs for breakfast). So made about 15 prathi and they had the curry from last night. Then went out to get some samosas and chicken kebabs as a starter for dinner tonight. Making lamb curry and rice tonight, but not going to touch it. Going to be good! They are leaving tonight, so should stick to plan until WI Monday.

Food today- Green Day-
Breakfast- 42g All Bran (HEB) with Skimmed Milk (HEA) and 2 conference pears
Lunch- Vegetable soup, fried egg with Baked beans
Snack- Activia FF yogurt and blueberries
Dinner (something quick, can't believe I'm not bored of this yet)- 3 Quorn Sausages, AH Cous Cous (.5 syn) and Fried Mushrooms
Snack- 2 Alpen Light Bars with Green Lemon tea, Mini Twister (2 syns)
Again trying to have less syns to make up or my bad week and hope it will pay off at WI Monday!

Water: 1.0 litre
Exercise: Again more sweat in the kitchen and picking up after 6 male cousins

I was doing so well yesterday until I had about 4 mini vegetable samosas and 4 mini custard pastries! Today has been a bad day food wise too as I was in and out of the house all day and just went for bad choices. Think it's been a red day, but not sure.
Breakfast- banana running out the door
Lunch- 2 glazed donuts, 2 wholemeal toast (HEB) with 3 pieces of chicken salami (not sure if this has any syns or not)
Snack- Mini Milk (2 syns)
Dinner- think I'll just be sticking to a big fruit salad with some yogurt!!
Water: 1 glass so far
Exercise: None

WI tomorrow- not feeling confident about a loss and feeling disappointed with myself on how I did this week. It's also tasters night, so let's see what I'll bring. Need something quick and easy- any suggestions welcome.
