My Weight Loss Journey

woo hoo well done hun! i think that 0.5lb is pretty damn impressived with your week :) and a loss is a loss!!

Well at least you lost hun!! It's definitely in the right direction, but I was just thinking, how strange we're both on week 2 of getting rid of our holiday losses, you can betcha bottom dollar that next week we'll both have got rid of the rest!! Don't worry about Nutellagate, sounds like you needed to get that out of your system!! Isn't it annoying when you get a taste for something and can't leave it alone!! Why doesn't that happen with things like lettuce leaves?!!X

Thanks for your posts and you are all right a loss is a loss, so staying positive.
Fresh start today and going off to Zumba in a few mins....

Green Day-

Green Lemon tea to start off the day
Breakfast (after Zumba)- Fried Egg, Baked Beans and Mushrooms
Lunch- Vegetable Soup, 3 Ryvita WG CrackerBread (.5HEB) with Chickpea Spread
Snack- Activia FF yogurt, 2 pears
Dinner: Spinach Cannelloni made with Quark (2 HEA's and possibly .5HEB for extra cheese), salad
Snack- 2 Alpen Lights (HEB) with Green Lemon Tea, Mini Twister (2 syns)

Water: 1.5 litres
Exercise: Zumba!!!!

Zumba was amazing...she said if we put in all our effort we could easily lose 800 calories, so I'm hoping I've lost that and it definately feels like it. Unfortunately though the instructor is going off to Ethiopia for 6 weeks (for charity), so let's hope the one who may cover her is just as good. She has another class tomorrow night, so let's see if I can make it...would be great for my body magic this week.
Keep chanting the Calypso song over and over...think I'm going crazy.

10st10: will send you the details of my class as it's not on that site. Would be great if you could come and I'm sure you will love it!!

It sounds so good that I reckon if I could afford it, I'd go every day! However, will try one week first! I went on the UK section of the site and found the same class, so when I read your message I grinned to myself. Lol, I want to Google the Calypso song but I think I'll regret it... :p x

Well I stand right in the front next to the instructor so that way I can't miss a step and being infront of the mirror makes you want to do it properly. Get ready 10st10- can't wait for next Tuesday and don't cancel out on me!

Yesterday had 3 coconut makaroons (not sure how many syns are in those), but other than that stuck to plan.

Really tired today as my little one woke up 2 times at night (must have had bad dreams), so don't feel like cooking much today and haven't stopped running around doing chores.

I drink looooads of water and I think a lot of it is getting into the routine of it. You can get used to drinking half a litre a day but you can also get used to drinking 3 litres a day.

I can't wait until I'm in the 10 stone range . It's been at least 10 years (and I'm only 27!). That's amazing work and such a great achievement, well done :) :)

I think it's been that long for me since I was last in the 10st range (pre-SW) too. Next target is to get into the 9 st range although I know it will take some time, but as long as I get there I'll be happy.

Was speaking to OH's cousin last night and she said she was watching a wedding film from 2 years back and she did not recognise me at all. She was saying it's unbelievable how much I've changed and I don't look like the same person. They joke around and say that is Sally instead of our Meli :) I personally know I've lost weight, but mentally I don't feel like I've lost that much yet. She went on to say "well at least no one can call you fat now", which again I still can't see that myself. Hopefully that will change one day. Previous to my conversation with OH's cousin was taking pictures of myself with the kids on the mobile and still deleted all the pictures where I thought I looked fatter. Can't wait for the day I can just take a straight close shot and not have to delete it.

Anyways....

Yesterday made a few modifications to the menu as I was feeling lazy, but still stuck to plan 100% and within syns. No guests for a change this weekend, only a trip arranged to Birmingham on Sunday, but taking food with me.
