My Weight Loss Journey

Hey Meli, how ru doodlin today sweetie?X

Think I'm on the right track again as I had another good day yesterday. What about you?

Have some more of OH's family coming over tonight and staying until Sunday (have a friends baby shower on Saturday)and then I think some more family coming on Sunday and staying probably for a night, so will be an interesting weekend. Hoping and trying my best to keep on track despite all the visitors and things going on.

Today's menu:
Green Day

Breakfast on the run before dropping kids: banana
Breakfast (2nd part)- OH made some rice with mixed daahl, so had some of this as it is filling and he didn't add any oil. Pear

Lunch- Carrot, Leek, Spring Onion and Red Pepper Soup and Crabsticks (HEB)

Snack- 1/2 pot Vanilla Onken Yogurt, frozen blueberries

Dinner- Vegetable Stir Fry (need to use this as it's going out of date soon) with Pasta, Sweetcorn, Mushrooms and Quorn Sausages

Snack- 2 Alpen Lights (HEB) with Green Lemon Tea, 2 Mini Twisters (4 syns)

Water: aiming for 1.5 litres
Exercise: Cleaning the house as guests will be here tonight!

OOh that sounds really lovely! I'll have to make it!! Thanks! I bought a pack of the Mince pie HIFIs too!! Thought they were really yummy but my friend thought they tasted of tabacco!! Oh well, there are worse things that you could have gorged on- at least it will have helped 'things along' if you know what I mean!! LOL!XXX

Between that and the overdose of Alpen Lights the other night...it's been quite embarrasing and imagine I have OH's bil here living with us, so I have to be extra careful! It's a good thing they don't smell... sorry tmi!!!

LOL!

I could do with some Alpen Lights right now :( haven't had my HExB today and have been craving them for a good few weeks but too much of a cheapskate to go buy them at normal price, waiting for them to appear in a pound shop! x

Yeah they are expensive, especially if you're like me and have 2 a day! Think I'm staying away from the Fudge ones as I end up overindulging. Chocolate and Orange ones seem to fill me up more.

Have a good weekend, heard it's supposed to be a good one weather wise.

Just wrote a full update, but it got deleted -hate when that happens!!
Well in summary, guests arrived at 11pm and we were up until 4am. Little one woke me up at 8am, so feeling tired...think it will hit me even worse later tonight when I'm expecting even more guests.
Food....well ended up having a taste of the chicken thigh curry I made and half a chappati- it was delicious!!! Can't give in though as WI is Monday and need to have another few 100% days, so going to try even harder today to stick to plan. Even taking some SW friendly food to the baby shower so at least I can snack on something while I'm there. I will not give in...have to keep chanting it to myself for the rest of the day....

Green day today:

Breakfast- Egg, Baked Beans, Mushrooms, Quorn Sausages
Lunch- Leftover Vegetable Soup from yesterday
Snack (at Baby Shower)- 6 Ryvita CrackerBread (HEB) with Refried Bean Dip (there will be celery sticks and carrots so will just dip them in as well). Will take a bottle of Pepsi Max, Alpen Lights (HEB) and Green Tea as well just incase I get any sweet cravings.
Dinner (needs to be quick as I'll be stuck in the kitchen cooking)- Still thinking...maybe Cous Cous and ????
Snack- fruits (clementines and pears)
Late night snack with guests- 2 Mini Twisters (4 syns), Green Lemon Tea with another Alpen Light (3 syns)

Water: 1.5 litres
Exercise: None, unless there is dancing at the party?

Have been so busy today with all the guests that I didn't get a chance to sit down for more than 10 mins in one go! I know I'm going to be in pain tomorrow. Guests leaving tomorrow, so can't wait to just relax a bit as it been go-go-go.
Yesterday went well, but today was a little crazy food wise, although hope it isn't too bad and will have a loss tomorrow...we'll see.

Breakfast- 2 pears
Lunch- Egg, 3 Quorn sausages, mushrooms
Snack- Mini Twister (2 syns)
Dinner- a few pakore (these were probably the worst syn wise, not even going to check), 3 pieces of homemade banana bread, loads of pepsi max
Thinking I should eat something else now, but to be honest feeling full, so will stop tonight.
Water: 1 glass only!!!!!
Exercise: Running around like a headless chicken count?

running around like a headless chicken definately counts!!!

Thanks for wishing me luck- I need a loss tonight and haven't been too bad this week, so fingers crossed.
Guests are gone and I'm exhausted today, so can't be bothered making anything complicated today.
OH still not back to normal and just keeping him on a fruit diet to see if that makes any difference to his jaundice, so have stocked up on a lot of fruit for the week.

Green Day:
Breakfast- 2 large conference pears, 42g All Bran (HEB) with skimmed milk (HEA)
Lunch- Big Bowl of Vegetable Soup (leftovers)
Snack- Activia FF yogurt, 1 orange
Dinner (after WI)- Scrambled Egg, Mushroom and Veg Stir Fry with Noodles
Snack- 2 Alpen Lights (HEB) with Green Lemon Tea, 1 Mini Twister (2 syns), grapes

Water: 1.0 litre
Exercise: House Clean Up

WI results...lost 5lbs :) I knew I had a loss, but didn't imagine it would be that much...not complaining.

sooooooooooooo pleased for you hun xxx

and it's funny because I almost didn't make it to WI today. Drove OH's car and got as far as the entrance to the English Club where we get weighed and what happens... the car stopped. Dead battery!!!! Got some guys to come and help me push the car as I was blocking everyone from coming in, but still went in and got weighed and OH came and switched cars with me and waited for the RAC while I was in class. Good thing I went and thanks to you all who comment as it's your support which keeps me going! Aiming for another good week this week.
