Yes same ere x i worked out after my sneaky pint, tomato sausages and dressing on a salad i had that used about 55 syns so got 60 left till thursday which is 10 a day. Trying to aim for 5 a day but sunday is always a struggle as i love my sunday dinner lol plus this week my father in law is taking us out for lunch so gotta be extra good lol

Weekly syns I used 36. 1\2 yesterday plus 1/2 syn for yogurt not put down so 37syns. So awful really but minus that from the weekly syns of 105 leaves 68. divided by 5 days leaves will give me around 13 a day. I won`t need those so hopefully can counteract it all. Gonna try for 5 a day

Yes sounds a good plan and hopefully both of us will come out with a good loss lol

I like the idea of Flexi Syns and maybe when I'm a bit more competent with the plan I will give it a go. X
 
Looks good x may invest in some of those burgers with them being so low synned :)


They are really nice very meaty. . One is enough really with the other stuff. They come in a pack of 4 and are now around £2.50 a pack. Not on offer very often. I may try just one today
They are Be Good to Yourself 1/4lb beefburgers.

I would not usually use flexi syns except for a special occasion. With flexi syns they say that you don`t have to make up during the week. I would be afraid of a weight gain hence I will cut down on syns during the coming week.

By the way I luv the `scenic route`!

Well done! That's what I love about SW - we can eat normal stuff at home and out and work out our syns across the week when we need to!
 
Yes probably are. I tried to get around the diabetic thing with SP with swede/carrot but did not like it so what bother again will stick to EE, like my spuds.



I agree with Cloudy about chuckling when you didn`t like dessert but still ate it. I would do that too :)
Good job we've found each other and SW isn't it!!
 
I will have to flexi syn last night, but will still watch the syns each day.

Well done Doreen for sorting it out straight away - u know how many times in the past my oversynning has become a bad habit over days!xx

That is such a lovely post. We are pleased to have you with us.
With all the encouragement we get I will lose again next week.
I had looked back over my weight over the weeks and there was much more down months, and the up months were only trying to counteract them. Will check over my diarys again, tho I think I have some of them in a book.

How lovely to have your grandson sleeping next to you. That is so toe curling. Love it.

I used to think my hubby considered SW as the latest fad in my many years of dieting - but when I told him that - he said 'Not at all' cos he thinks I've got a much more balanced approach to losing weight since signing up here and more relaxed about it all and he's right! Thank u all!xx

Not sure how i didnt make it here yesterday evening but was a bit distracted and didnt make it round all diaries, even though this one is usually one i go straight to.
Anyway, on phone now and have a sleeping grandson beside me so trying not to wake him. He woke when Paul went out just before six so came into my bed but snuggled down and back to sleep :)

I reckon you're spot on Doreen, checking over your recent food and planning to keep an eye on portions. I think we all get a little complacent over time and guesstimate our healthy extras and maybe up our portionswhen we dont necessarily need to. Even when its 'free food' it is all calories at the end of the day and can add up.
Thats not to say cut down on food, just that it does us all good to re-check that we arent slipping in more here and there, that can make the difference over a week.

To have had consistent losses over four weeks at the hardest time of the year is really commendable. I bet there arent many on Mins that could say they've done that!
Keep doing what youve been doing, with just an eye on portions etc and no reason not to see more losses. Its also worth looking back over your records, if you have them and adding up monthly (or four weekly) losses which can sometimes reveal youve done better than you realise with a run of small losses.

You did well for your meal out, good choices i think. I laughed at you mot really liking your pud but eating it anyway, thats so me! Well, when its there and youre paying for it, you feel that you should, dont you :rollseyes:

Your plan for next few days will cancel it out i'm sure and SW do advocate flexi syns for that kind of thing anyway.

Disaster. I ate the pops that I had planned and they set off an avalanche of eating. -

2 wm rolls (12 syns) 2 slices corned beef (2 syns) 3 slices ham. 2 slices of bread (5 syn) 1slice corned beef(1syn) pickle 30ml (2syns) s/cream 30ml (2syns) Total 24 syns.

That is probabbly more than I had last week. Jumped on scales and 4lb heavier.



Well done for sorting it out straight away Doreen - as u've seen too many times - I've done similar (and worse) and it's gone on for days!

Hope u will post if u feel a wobble coming on and hopefully one of the gang will be here to chat with.

You're so knowledeable about SW - wonder if it'd be an idea to plan and make or buy a few on plan treats/comfort foods/favourite meals & snacks to help u keep on track?

If I were u - I'd be prepared to take the 105 syns if u need them this week - cos if ur anything like that Upndown woman - if u tighten ur belt toooooo tight - u may rebel and binge - mind u ur not as nutty as her!!xx

Hey Upndown woman I will try not to tighten too tight neither will I have crisps again I don`t think. I was tempted just now in co-op but resisted. When I started eating Yesterday I should have come on here, don`t know why I didn`t think of it.
I will use the syns if I need to Linda but hope I won`t. Trouble is if I keep snacks here I will eat them for the sake of it.

Have a couple of hospital visits this week and they could be long ones - in fact one of the is at the Royal Free in Hampstead, not the easiest to get to from here - so snacks may be needed. In fact I will have to take something with me cause of the diabetes.
Will have to think about it as the appointment Monday is a mainline train and 2 tube trains with appointment at 12. So just a sip of water after cleaning teeth so I am not busting for the loo. Will take a couple of bananas and a soft roll of some sort and a bottle of drink. Of course my kindle and blood meter. All just to go to a hospital appointment. May need a sujitcase, or maybe a big bag.
 
Ooh, hope it all goes well for you on Monday, Doreen. What a horrible journey for you! :( Regarding eating sensibly, I think planning ahead will be crucial on Monday, especially. You're doing so much better than me at the moment! Can't believe how well you've done over Christmas. Brilliant! When Linda suggested making snacks to have to hand, in case the need for nibbles strikes, I'm afraid I'd be the same as you and scoff the lot! :D Anyway, I'll be thinking of you on Monday. xx

That does sound like a tough day esp if u have a big bag - hope it goes well for u - if the weigh u - bet the'll be pleased with ur weight loss - not many patients they see will have done that this time of year I bet!xx
