Yes a very low day Doreen - enjoy ur day out 2moro - handy to take the soup - I'd like the recipe when u have a chance or point me in the right direction if it's on here or somwhere online.

My version of the soups.

BNS & Red Pepper Soup.

1 BNS around 800g as it comes.
4 red peppers
1 onion.
4 chicken oxo cubes
1ltr of boiling water.

Cut BNS in pieces. Just take the seeds out and leave the skin on,
Cut the peppers up , don`t have to be too small.
Cut up the onion.


Put BNS pepper & onion in a good size pan, oxo in hot water, pour over and bring to the boil then simmer.
I let it go for a couple of hours because of the skin (extra fibre)
When cooked blitz. I always let it cool first and sometimes I take some of the liquid out as it is easier to blitz.

You have the salt of the oxo cubes but I did add a little when all done.

BNS & Carrot Soup My way

about 800g BNS
4 Large carrots. (never weighed them and sometimes use lots of smaller ones)
1 onion
4 oxo chicken & 1 litre of boiling water.

Deseed & cut up BNS leave skin on
cut up carrots, if they are good ones I leave the skin on these too
Cut up onion
Put stock in

Boil then simmer for a couple of hours Blitz.

Sometimes when I am reheating a portion I put in a little curry powder, or a a few chilli flakes.

My son in NZ puts chilli in when he cooks his.------- His has home grown green pumpkin and stores them during the off season so very cheap. Julie grows her own peppers too. Thrifty.

Had a great with my niece. W"e had such a lot of catching up to do. She is such a lovely niece. I bought a sort of jacket whilst out. No buttons, good length and black & white. Good our Tash was with me or I might have bought one too big.! Just have to sort something to wear it with now.

I weighed myself this morning and seem to have got rid of that 2lbs. I am going to have another light day because I want to lose some tomorrow. Don`t want a gain and would rather not a STS.

Surprisingly yes. I was a little hungry by 10pm last night so went to bed.

I don`t know how to do pictures ladies. Like you Kathy I am not very good at computers. When the summer gets here I will have lost some more lbs - I hope, then I will look. I am sure I have something on the cupboard that will suffice for now.

B: 2 toast 2 eggs mushrooms coffee

L: Large cup bns/red pepper soup

D: pork chop. broccoli & onion gravy made with oxo + 1tsp Dijon mustard (1syn) & a squirt of tomato puree
4 plums - coffee

1 syn


Two light days. I am surprised that I am not hungrier. As the superfree on my plate was at least as much as the chop I am going to have the plums later. Cup of coffee for now.

If I lose weight tomorrow you will hear the cheer all over the country. :)

And I'll be cheering for u from the north!! Yes isn't funny that we're not hungry when we cut food down so much! Don't know how long I can keep so low but it's giving me some much needed discipline and hopefully a sts or a small loss!

The other thing I've noticed this week - when I've given a lot of thought to why I keep bingeing - is that I've been drinking more and think that's helped keep hunger at bay!

I've read that ppl often eat snacks etc when really they're thirsty and just need a drink! Will try to keep that up. But I chose my username carefully so never confident that I'll stick to anything for long! Well done on another great day - will post my food later xx

Oh hope u do have a loss - as I've only had 3 'good' or 'low' days - I'd be happy with a sts rather than the definite gain if I'd have carried on overeating! If I get a loss I'll be ecstatic!xx

Hope everyone weighing 2moro is feeling confident - good luck - I'm feeling better about it since I've had 3 low days.Here's how my day went:

b: 1 slice of toast & marmite and an orange
l: tinned salmon sandwich (1 slice of bread), lettuce leaves, cherry toms, cucumber
d: chicken, green beans, bns, brussel sprouts

diet coke, water, fruit teas, 1 coffee with dash of milk
snacks: 3 pistachio nuts, cherry toms, satsuma
35 mins exercise dvd

Thank you Serena - I've lost 1.5lbs - which I'm very grateful for as the week started off badly! Off to do ur happy scale dance ................. good luck to Doreen and Linda C and anyone else WI today xxxx
