:wee: Yeah lost 2lb, now back where I was. I am really pleased, got weighed Sat last week so that 2lb was after 5days of following plan. It just shows what can be done when you put your mind to it. :p

Thursday 19th September EE

B: Ham sarni with pickle at class. 2 coffee.

L: Butternut squash & carrot soup, fruit & nat yogurt.

Mandy, my finger is not so good. I am getting a fair bit of pain and stiffness in that ring finger and the middle finger too. The cold seems to make it a bit worse. Also the thumb on my left hand is pretty painful too. I decided to see my doctor on Monday and he got hold of my thumb and jerked it about and said I have osteoarthritis. Nice.

I told him that I had been given excercises by the physio and then discharged. I said the physio should have keps me a while longer. Anyway he has given me Naproxen which is an anti-inflamatory to take three times a day.
Usually that kind of medication make me extremely lathargic so not trying until Saturday in case it knocks me out.

I have been doing the exercises anyway and some others doc has given me.

Actually it was nice to see the doctor as we have such a great rapoor. We came out of his room laughing out loud much to the astonishment of patients an staff. !

Will let you know how I get on with the medication. There are so many of them that I cannot take, but we`ll see.

That's not good, I hope he's wrong about the arthritis. Now I'm back into knitting my knuckle is looking bruised again, it's very odd as it's not hurting.
Keep up with the exercises and try not to worry too much. I'm the same as you with painkillers, I only like taking them when I'm in bed.

Off to Zumba Gold now. Don`t really feel like going. Pretty lethargic at the moment. I give someone a lift so have to go. Hope I feel better once I get there. Left early last week because I was so tired. Might have some lunch and a kip when I get back. No energy is a not nice feeling. Alarm going, time to go.

Now 2.20. Been out 3 hrs. Feeling much better. My neck was aching while dancing so sat out just one. Went for coffee after with one of the `girls` then got some plants for the garden. So glad I went. If I had not been giving someone a lift I would probably have gone to bed.

Lunchtime I think.

That is odd about your knuckle. Is it swollen as well or just bruised. Will be a nuiscance if you can`t knit.

It is the anti-inflamatories that I am worried about more than the painkillers. My body already feels a bit strange and I am not taking them yet. May try tomorrow. Wanted to go to M&S today to see if I can get into smaller size trousers yet, but that will have to wait.

I am going to bed, feeling weird. Along with 2 painkillers. Let you know how I am later.

D: Found a chicken casserole in freezer so will have that with brocolli & cauli

Morning Doreen, how're you today? I still feel wiped out, but not as bad as yesterday. All I want to do today is a bit of tidying in the garden and dig a plant out. I hate that sort of gardening - too many slugs and beasties!
My knuckle is strange, it's discoloured but not swollen or painful.

Hiya, am feeling a bit better today. Did some washing and went shopping. Nothing else although Must get in the garden again. But as I felt so bad yesterday I have decided to leave until tomorow. Still a little slow.

I dug an old rose out Thursday, all I saw were spiders.

L: BNS & carrot soup. Jelly with strawberries and & strawberry mullerlight
2 bananas

S: carrot & lentil soup, banana

D: 2 Sainsbury burgers with a little cheese on one in a wm roll. sw chips . pepper & tomato

OMG I could not stop eating. A box of grapes, the rest of jelly & strawberrries
5 or maybe 6 mullerlights, 3 bananas, I know it was all free but my god my bellyis so uncomfortable and it is only 8.50. Going to bed before I get hold of anything else. :eek:

Just been looking at the goal date I have put on my profile. In the 14s by xmas. That gives me 13 weeks to lose 17lb, which would make me 14st.13lb Now that would do. So need to lose every week the minimum of 1lb, but need 1.1/2really.

Can`t aim for 1.1/4lb per week as SW don`t do quarter of pound so need to try for a couple of 2lb losses to make it easier. I am so up and down all the time it feels hard. but if I stick to it properly (which I know I can do - can`t I?) I should manage it.

OMG I do not sound too positive do I? I can do it, I can do it.:hmm:.

Monday 23rd September

Still feel a bit heavy from binge last night. But also hungry. Coffee now, breakfast later.
