New Start, New Diary.....

I had a brilliant weekend thanks! Bit sad that that will be the last time the whole family is together until March time! Sis is away back to Liverpool and won't be home till christmas and less than a week till my wee bro goes :(

Anyway. Was good most of Saturday. Planned on it being syn free but OH made cake so had a small slice of that and a few pringles when we were at the bar. Not too many so think I would've been under the 15. Was good at the actual christening as well. I had poached salmon with mash, veg and white wine sauce. There wasn't much sauce but I do think the veg was coated in something. Also instead of having a full dessert, I shared a sticky toffee pudding with icecream!

But then when I got home I started snacking. Made some wedges and sausages but after that had some chocolate. And then had far too much on Monday, and Tuesday and yesterday!!! Don't know why I do it. I was eating a load of the funsize chocolate. I got a bag last week and thought they won't be too bad as they were all between 2.5- 4 syns each. I had forgot they were there till boyfriend seen them on Sunday. I'm not buying them again. I think I would be better with a full size bar of chocolate at around 9- 10 syns cos I'm less likely to eat 2 of those but I've pretty much ate the whole bag of small stuff!!!

Yesterday was weigh day and I was off work. I don't go to group till half 7. I ate 3 bowls of rice crispies and the rest was chocolate and crisps!! Still went to group and lost 3lb!! Part of that I think was the massive gain last week, plus the junk I gorged on between Sun and Wed hasn't went on.

Anyway, now I've been to group, it's like a reset in my head. Don't know why it takes going to group to stop me binging! I start work in 2 hours and currently have some leek and potato soup cooking, and then am going to make some BNS soup. Will take some to work and freeze the rest. Really don't won't this weeks junk to affect the scales next week so am trying to be good as gold!
 
Soup sounds lovely and well done for not going completely off the rails at the weekend (I definitely would have!)

Sorry to hear your family are all off, its horrible isn't it :( but then it helps me to remember that they are happy so thats all that matters ;)

Just had some BNS soup for lunch. I forgot how nice it was :)

Only 5.5 to go now. My original target in group was 10.4 I chose that since it would mean having to stay under 10.7 but I've had it in my head ages that I wanted it to be 10 st 2.5 just so I can say I've lost 2 stone. I changed it in group 2 weeks ago.
 
Ally, that yogurt in Lidl was 500g not 100g and I did not realise there would be free food in it. Have given it to a neighbour

Hi Doreen,
I thought the 15 was very high! I hate having to use syns on things we can eat syn free!!
If your using the calculator again, yogurt has a dairy free food allowance. I tend to use syns online instead of the calculator as the calculator can be confusing!
Also, if you wanted to check other Lidl yogurts, go to the syns calculator, type in Lidl as the manufacturer and then type in Milbona and it brings up the different Milbona yogurts or just type in yogurt and you get other types too :)

1 red onion and 1 or 2 BNS with veg stock. Sometimes I add some chilli flakes but forgot today!
Mum got me a soup maker for my birthday so now I only need to chop the onion and BNS up, add water and stock pot and turn the soup maker on! Soup is ready in 21 mins :)

Before I had the soup maker, I would cook the onion till soft, add the BNS and cook for a few mins then add the stock and let it boil/simmer until the BNS is soft and then blend.
 
Food today- working 1-9 so food not at normal times:

B: half a cup of potato and leek soup/ three quarters of a cup of BNS soup!! coffee
S: banana
L: BNS soup and 4 corn thins (B- I know it's meant to be 5 but only had 4 left in the packet!!), orange and mullerlight.
S: banana
D: actifry chips, 2 LM sausages, beans and cheese (A)

Think I'l have a hot chocolate (2 syns) with some mini marshmallows (have to check syns) and a hifi bar (B) before bed :)
 
I'm going to make more to freeze. Well will once OH does the food shopping when I'm at work tomorrow. Just finished writing the shopping list!

Food today:
B: apple, banana and orange. coffee
L: potato and leek soup, 2 ryvita (B) with dairylea (A). pear, apple and mullerlight.
D: mushy pea curry with quorn pieces and rice.
S: 2 rocky road (B)

Might have some jelly before bed (0.5 syns) :)
 
Typing up my food today now to stop me from going to the kitchen and eating!! I'm not hungry but just want to eat :S

L: speed soup with 2 ryvita and dairylea (half A and B- other half of A used for milk in 3 coffees), apple and mullerlight. coffee
S: satsuma. rice crispy bun (unsure of syns but would be quite high. made them for mum the other night so I seen how much toffee, butter and marshmallows went in!!)
D: pasta bake (A) with quorn meatballs. jelly (0.5 syns)
S: small slice of coffee cake (? syns), jelly (0.5 syns), 2 rocky road and 1 blackcurrant cheese cake hifis (1.5 B)

Had sneaky peak on scales at mums this evening. They definitely haven't went down, maybe actually gone up a bit. It's hard to see the exact weight on them since they're not digital! So tempted to buy myself another set but know they'd mess with my head with constant scale hopping!

Ok, think urge to nibble has passed. Pleased with myself seeing as I have a malteser reindeer calling my name from the kitchen :)

Going down to mums for dinner tomorrow. Last family dinner before brother goes. I know they will be syns involved but I had very few on Thurs and none on Friday so think I should allow myself some apple crumble and custard :D

Quick food update before I forget what I ate today.
B: sleep plus 2 cups of coffee
L: Creamed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, 2 quorn fillets, peas, carrots, cauliflower and broccoli covered in a white sauce. Oh and 1 roast potato. Then BIG bowl of apple crumble and custard!
S: cheese cake hifi light (B)
D: pasta bake (A) with quorn meatballs. Had this after 9 since I was soo stuffed after lunch. And now I'm stuffed again after the pasta!

No idea what the syns actually are for today but will just try keeping them low until weigh in.
 
Not that great food wise!! Went slightly over syns on Monday which wasn't too bad but went a good bit over yesterday and today. Yesterday was unintentional. Went to say goodbye to my brother and then went ended up going to my sisters to look after the baby so she could get some stuff done. If I had went straight home I would've been on plan but since I went to my sisters I wasn't! And then when I got home I was making things for a taster session so ended up nibbling away at the stuff that didn't turn out right...so then nibbled at other snacks in the house.

Have ended up doing the same today :( started off badly with a toasted bap. Was at a work meeting and didn't get a break so have came home and ate biscuits and chocolate.

So am heading for a gain tonight. It was looking that way anyway cos when I went on mums scales on Monday night it showed a gain and also on Tuesday morning. I was good up until Sunday but I think the binging last Monday/Tuesday and Wednesday have caught up!!

Will be right back on track tomorrow!!

Got the new magazine tonight. Had a quick flick through and see a curry I want to try. Maybe on Friday.

Really hoping for a loss next week. Usually the week I don't lose so need to be drinking plenty of water this week. Also have meal out on Saturday so going to keep syns low the next few days, well that's the plan anyway :)
