new start, we have let things slip

well it all went horribly wrong this week, 1.8lbs on. but this is a new week and will battle on.
 
you will shift that easy by next week FB!! Dont you worry. I forgt to weigh in this morning so will weigh in the morning. I dont think t will be a true reading tho as back on the codeine so will probably read more than i would be if wasnt on painkillers. lets see. A new week FB x
 
Yep a new week and in my case mid week! Have a had a rethink and getting geared up to focus more seriously on my goal (basically consistantly).

FB easy on easy off, lots of water and try and forget about it, this is life an occasionally we live it. You are going to be back on track now anyways like you said new week.

FSO, sorry to hear about your back, is it muscular? Will swimming help at all?

Hi guys. I lost a pound when I weighed in which I am happy with as at least I am going in the right direction. So I am 12st 1. I am hypermobile and that is why I have the aches and pains I do but I usually manage them well. I seem to have the pains under enough control now so I need to force myself to get to the gym again as should help. Hope weigh in goes well for you tomorrow FB. x
 
Congrats FSO, that's good a pound and in the right direction.

FB you and me WI's tomorrow. I'm not sure about mine might be a STS, nevermind. I am going to wait until after the gym to WI (before breakfast), thinking that every little bit helps, and I cannot be bothered going now (7.40pm) to the gym tonight.

Still feeling positive about the weightloss. Ive had a fun filled week but have strayed from the 5 a day i think. Not to worry - todays another day! My focus for the weekend is to aim to drink a little more than usual. Post soon x
 
all i managed to do was take off the 1.8lbs i but on last week.
 
still good! youre back on track. I have gone overboard at the gym today and ended up in a bums, legs n tums class, then stayed for another called strictly fit which incorporated lots of dance steps and then have signed up for a 12 week weight loss plan which includes exercise and support etc and today this incorporated a solid 30 minute circuit training routine. I am so gonna die tomorrow but felt good today. The downside is the scales at the gym have me down as 3 lbs heavier than the home ones so gonna stick to the ones at home for my own purposes. The gym ones can show what i lose over the 12 wks rather than what i weigh if that makes sense.
How did you go bren? and heres to staying on track for all of us. Im guessing Jubean will be busy with her uni work and wedding. Hope alls going well for her x
 
that was an almighty amount of exercise, hope you do not suffer too much tomorrow. i did 20mins core work out on the wii the biggest loser, 20 run in the wii and a bike ride on it too.
 
i actually went back to the gym on monday morning - lasted 30 minutes. Been officially dead since. forgot to weigh in but think will leave it till sunday at the gym on the heavier scales...not sure yet

somehow forced myself to go to the gym last night. only managed 20 min cardio and then used the vibrating plate thing for a minute which seems to have eased some of the deeper aches i think!
foodwise - went very wrong yesterday tea time and ended up at a takeaway - i dont normally do that, but for some reason did! anyway, today I am going to be surrounded by cakes as it is nurses day BUT have decided to start a detox as detox ingredients have landed and hopefully will put me off the cakes. Hoping to do the detox for a maximum of 5 days - well i think i have enough ingredients for 4 and half days. Lets see if I even last until lunchtime first! If can keep the detox going then i should be ready to go back on the shakes with one healthy meal. Can only try! Pls dont ask me what detox i am on as you will tell me off and tell me I should know better!! Enjoy your days x
 
managed a day on the detox so far. may end up having some fruit or cereal later but will see how i go. The stuff is gross and super low cals. no gym today. body needed a rest. hopefully will go back tomorrow. hope youre both ok x
 
we do what we feel we need to do, i was looking at the slimfast in tesco on sunday thinking "will i try it for a week to try to kick start my weight loss" but decided i really do not think i could do it.
 
i prefer the tescos own shakes to the slimfast - might be cos theyre cheaper too! I buy the ready mixed stuff so no preparaion needed. I will be on the shakes next week. Im on a really gross detox diet BUT my senses took over in the evening of day 1 where i had to have a banana and some cereal too as the calories are just too low. Think I have enough ingredients to last until Monday. Weigh in will be interesting as I know I will just put on what I have lost this week, back on next week. But I needed a bit of a boost and its working.
I stuck to my word with the gym. Had my day off on Wednesday and went to a Body Attack class last night and found that very fast and tiring, but good! Hey FB, where's your July holiday? I noticed a new mini challenge!! good on you! I have 10 days to go until I go to the Algarve. Never been there before so let's see what delights it brings :)
 
please tell me you are eating and drinking more than lemons and lemon juice. i am cruising the med for 2 week in july. the difference this year will be that i will not put on a stone in a fornight like last year.
 
that sounds fab! i dont know where im going this summer! and yes I am eating too! Basically its the maple syrup/ lemon diet. Consists of maple syrup, freshly squeezed juice of lemons, cayenne pepper and water! Day 1 was awful as i didnt realise how hot cayenne pepper was and put too much in. Been ok since. Youre supposed to live on that drink alone but I am having a huge bowl of cereal and fruit or a small meal in the evenings and its still working. 1 days supply of the drink is lasting me 2 days this way. I kinda knew I wouldnt be able to make myself drink the 1 and half litres that you do on the diet so drinking half and eating instead. A relaxed version of the maple syrup diet. Went to the gym for 30 mins this eve and its time for something to eat once I finish off the last cup of the drink.
Cruising the med for 2 weeks sounds wonderful and I know you wont put on a stone! the meds a different sort of dining experience. Make sure no biscuits being restocked daily! :)
 
eaten lots today as 1st day of totm but got weighed this morning so going with that as will probably forget tomorrow morning in my rush. how did u do fb?
 
omg, you dropped 5 lbs in a week, maybe it was just the re start you needed, i stayed the same this week, it is totm so am happy enough (well not really happy but) higher hopes for next week.
 
i could have lost more but I didnt follow the diet rigidly but Im glad as its a good start and hopefully I can keep it off as Ive been in the gym/gym classes 5 times this week. so its going well. Back on the maple syrup and lemon diet today but will probably have a small meal or cereal/ fruit this evening. Im finding it quite easy to do when at work but seem to do more damage when at home. I thought I might as well carry on with it as I have a week before I go to portugal so even if manage a couple more pounds will make all the difference. Need to try and stay below 12 stone now that Im finally under it x
