New to simply filling- any help appreciated

Actually I'm thinking it's a skating conga line where one skater laps people and goes to the back!?

Lovely loss this week chick! Good for you. Good idea to stick to WW for a bit. I'm doing another week of it next week too as I think I'm losing better on it at the mo. It's my own failings rather than the plan that's holding me back (naughty saturday looming - uh oh!) Have a fab weekend x

Great loss and I'm pleased to hear you are sticking with us :0) well done on doing the shred aswell, hope your ankle is still ok after it.

Cheers ladies. Roller derby is a contact sport on quad roller skates- there's a track and 5 players from each team on track at a time - 4 blockers and 1 jammer. The jammers score points for each opposing teams blocker that they pass. So blockers are trying to help through their own jammer while stopping the other jammer. There's a lot more rules/complications than that but that's the basics lol.

Oh and that's how I broke my ankle lol :p

Ugh after a good 100% week last night I go a bit crazy. Was at a mates for dinner so couldn't control what the food was obviously - so had a roll, big quorn burger, chips. Followed by nutella cake (oh my so good!) and Doritos while movie watching. Washed down with 2 ciders and a couple rums!! Could have been worse but yeh that probably used up most of my weeklies!!

Just going for my usual tactic of just being good for the rest of the week as Friday is only day1 of my week. I am awful at sticking to diet in social situations but I guess that's because I really don't want to! I enjoy eating normal things and having a nice time if that means my weight loss is slower I'm ok with that :) x

Yup it's all about life style change as they say so there's nothing wrong in living a little and enjoying yourself when you go out with friend's etc :0) glad you had a nice night, what film did you watch?

Sounds like a great night at your friend's was had! I find it really difficulty when other people are cooking for me as I just can't bring myself to tell people I am on a diet (only OH and mother actually know, a few colleagues and one friend know that I have been losing weight for a couple of years but it appears to have passed everybody else by) or ask for things to be cooked differently or anything like that so I just eat what I am given. Generally people always seem to come round to ours for dinner though, thinking about it. Apparently I must be scary to look for!

I think loosening the reigns every now and then, especially when you are so close to target, is a good plan. Feeling able to socialise and be "normal" is really important for the long term of losing weight, I think. I am contemplating this in relation to the BBQ I am going to later. I keep wondering about giving myself the afternoon off but not sure what I would really do that differently - I have some lean steak to take for petit pain steak sandwiches and a couple of wild garlic quorn sausages. I will be stuffed after that so doubt I would want anything else to eat. I could have something to drink but I am not sure I *really* want to. I guess maybe I will just see how I feel when I get there. There are of course those sticky toffee salted caramel cupcakes... OH keeps telling me how nice they are...

Yeh totally i am always appreciative of anyone having me round for food so just eat what given - they already cater for me being veggie which is being fussy enough! I didn't really need to eat so many Doritos though those things are addictive!!

Just had the most amazing brunch- breakfast burritos :-D

Have a nice time at BBQ you sound well prepared and if you do fancy a drink or cake then enjoy it well deserved! X

I agree that when you go to peoples' for dinner you eat what they make and don't make a fuss, that would be so rude.
You can't put life on hold for a diet, its just not gonna work long term. Good that you had a good time last night! X

Yeah I always compliment food when eating at someone's house. But one of my friends does ww. So If she cooks I say how many points is this, she says 12pp. Then brings out the cheesiest lasagne, chips and garlic bread lol! I just think no wonder she hardly gets a loss lol! But just eat whatever.

It's like birthdays etc when friends go for a curry or a meal I always go and it sometimes is hard to stick to the plan but I just enjoy myself.

Anyway your doing fabbo!
Are you enjoying your ww journey? Or prefer slimming world?

I always cook ww meals when people come to ours cos they're the only meals I'm used to making! All my cookbooks are ww ones! However most of the time people can't tell a difference and seem to enjoy it anyway. I think! X

My partner hates it when I do a Ww recipe but at the end of the day I feel they taste just as nice as the normal version! It's very often I don't see a difference!

The 0pp soups r a good example! They actually taste better than a tin of soup!

Much better! My boyf has had to get used to ww cooking, fortunately he likes a lot of it but he has quite bland tastes so anything a bit spicy or vegetarian I have to make for just me! X

Your breakfast burrito sounds amazing! I am so stealing that idea for brunch if I ever get around to having a lay in while I am on annual leave.

I reckon I must be quite lucky as my OH has been really willing to try all the SW or WW recipes I have been doing over the last couple of years. Of course it probably helps that he didn't know he was eating healthier food for a while... He doesn't like things too hot and he won't eat beans of any sort but apart from that and a few vegetables he is awkward about he is pretty willing to try anything I suggest.

Hey!
Just tried to send you a pm as I had a question about SW! But your inbox full lol! I'll restyle it later on here :)

Cleared some messages from inbox so feel free to message me or just ask on here no problems!

Haha purpled there's a woman in my work like that who does ww but is always eating MASSIVE amounts- like she will say oh I'm bring good today I brought my cereal with me instead of having a bacon roll and proceed to eat massive Tupperware box of cereal :-/ usually followed by two massive slices of toast and butter!! Yet pays to go to the meetings every week who are you kidding on thinking you can not measure anything and lose weight?? These people baffle me.

I do miss all the free foods on sw as I did quite often use easy quick cheap things like savoury rice packets, veggie burgers etc which were all free or really low in syns but having pretty consistent losses on sf so sticking with it for now - maybe change back to sw to maintain when I get to target as allows a bit more freedom in some ways and I'll probably incorporate the parts of sf that I like so maybe wholemeal bagels, smoothies and tinned fruit as obviously can eat more when maintaining than trying to lose.

I am lucky too my bf mostly doesn't mind the meals we tend to eat the same meals but he will eat extra or add bits, and he doesn't eat much at work then has massive dinner and snacks at night whereas I like my food spread well thoughout the day - probably eat less during the day when I get back to work but boredom leads to smacking during the day at home!! X
