Haha my phone talks utter nonsense all the time drives me crazy it's always changing words I hate autocorrect!! X

Lol sorry had a immature moment but yea boredom can lead to snacking.Thats good your OH is easy going bout different foods!

Ugh stupid scales were looking at me this morning so stepped on them for a sneaky peek this morning and they are showing 3.5lb gain!! Wtf scales I went a bit crazy with some Doritos but nothing to cause that!

I know we have to ignore any mid week readings but still a bit annoying lol! X

Making some totally experimental cakes so not sure how that will work out lol! Hoping they are at least edible!!

Had 2 eggs needed used and couldn't be bothered going to shops to get ingredients to make cake so just freestyle!

Chucked 2 shredded wheat in food processor with options hot choc, some skimmed milk, 2 eggs, vanilla essence and sweetener. In the oven now so let's see what happens. Remember weetabix cake on sw but though I would try shredded wheat since they are free on sf. Only 1pp for whole batch if they work!! X

Not bad for fake cake- didn't want to go mad adding much to them til I found out if the basic recipe was ok and for being fake cake it was pretty edible!!

Tiny bit burnt but didn't want to undercook them as I never bake! Choc coconut options gave them quite a nice flavour. Might top some with marshmallow fluff mmm! X

Mmmm look unite nice and I like your pink cake cases! How many pp each?

It's silicone cupcake cases from pound land lol! Great as reusable and cake pops right out of it easily.

I don't deal in propoints often :p but basically it would just be the shredded wheat, 2 eggs and splash of milk and then divide by 7 (that's how many cakes I got from the mix). The whole mixture on sf is only 1pp for the options hot choc and I reckon 2 tablespoons of marshmallow fluff could top them for 1pp (maybe 2pp worth at most) For the 7 cakes so not bad at all :-D

Reckon on propoints days probably as well having real cake though as these probably don't save many points really! X

Ignore the scales! On fri I Wi at 10.5 1/4, sun I Wi at 10.10 3/4, scared the life out of me! This morning was 10.6 1/2 so going back down again!

That's crazy!

My weight does that half way through my period which I guess is ovulation.

I agree with others - ignore the scales!

Cakes look pretty yummy. I have never made any of the "fake cake" things like scan bran cake or weetabix cake. Probably not worth doing at the moment when I can't get a loss but *if* my losses ever start again I like the idea of the shredded wheat with coconut options.

I'm on the pill, have a week left? It was the day after I had fish and chips, had a funny tum, and lots of poops so I think it was something to do with that!

Compared to real cake they are rubbish but as a super low points on sf cake substitute they do their job! Also could probably make them fine in microwave as I know other fake cake on sw worked fine in silicone in the microwave so super quick cake!

Yeh I should just stay away from the scales until weigh in!! Sometimes I just get curious :p x

I'd prob eat the lot in one go! They look good!

Looks like a good day. I have never made onion soup although it really does appeal, although preferably with the cheesey croutons you usually get with it ;) How did you make yours?

I used to love a good French onion soup in Paris with cheesy crusty bread in it mmm so good!

This was my first attempt at it and really did think that just being onion in stock it would horrible with no flavour but was pleasantly surprised!

I just cut 5 onions into chunks, cooked them in frylight for 5 minutes then added veg stock cubes and boiling water and let it simmer for 20mins. Blitzed it very slightly with hand blender but wanted to keep it fairly chunky. Most people use beef stock cubes or bovril to make it taste more like French onion soup but those not being veggie weren't an option for me and had heard people say marmite works so tried that and it was yum - sampled a little bit without any and then tried mixing some marmite into a small bowl of it rather than ruin the whole pot of soup! Tasted good so ended up putting it into the pot too.

Hopefully still free as its only a tiny bit of marmite per portion, if marmite even has points I don't know?! X

Onion soup is delish...you're always making me want to cook things..I had to stay away from buying bread at all this week cus I knew if I did I'd be having French toast every day but I'm definitely going to have Onion soup very soon..not sure about the Marmite..I can't stand the taste of it so never buy it.

Aaargh French onion soup with gruyere! My absolutely most favourite soup in the world! Hmmm!
Yes I think you should ignore the scales. I'm sure all will be fine by WI! Xx

Thanks for the recipe. I might try that in the near future. And try to resist having it with a cheese toastie.
