We get free wifi at the hotel so I'm sure I'll upload some pictures during the week at some point.

I decided to give Aaron his present today as we're popping to the big town for a few bits and it means he can get the bracelet thing adjusted because it's massive and will need 3-4 links taken out. Saves space in luggage too! He really liked it, liked the watch and the engraving. Apparently he'd just been saying to a guy at work this week that he wanted to get a chunky silver watch. Yay success!

Done my toes too so all ready for holiday noe. Still another 2 hours until we leave for the airport and just over 5 til take off. *sigh* feeling impatient!

Hello! Just a quick one with a few photos as we're off to the beach today. Going to the Medina in Sousse tonorrow for some shopping, hopefully get lots of pics then too. The hotel did a cake so we have 2!

Looks fantastic Caz, I bet Aaron had a brill birthday in a lovely location with a beautiful girl thanks for posting on here too..I'm not on FB and would have missed out on seeing the holiday pics!

I know, my cake looked pathetic in comparison! Lol I didn't expect it no, I had emailed twice requesting a cake but got no reply. The Thomas Cook lady put in the booking that it was his birthday and said he may get a cake, maybe a happy birthday song or maybe nothing at all.

Me and Aaron are the same in photos - can't smile naturally so do semi smiles lol

Got up fairly early and the went to the medina in Sousse today. Did some major bartering and got all the things that I wanted plus a couple of extras. The people soon realised I'm ruthless with bartering, I offer my best price straight away and won't waver on it rather than coming in lower than is fair (and is almost insulting) just so it looks like I move on price. Generally people came down by 50% or even a bit more, I got called a clever business woman by one man and a problem by another! Lol Here are the bits I bought...

Well done you! But what's that brown thing for, the one in the 4th picture. I'm sure I should know, but I don't! If that was Aaron's back, he's looking very tanned! Do you tan easily too?

Yep it's a tagine, I wanted one before we came and looked in the UK and couldn't find one for less than 30-35 pounds. It was labelled up as 75 dinars (25 GBP) but he sold me it with those two bowls for 35 dinars (14 pounds).

That is Aaron yeah. We both seem to look really tanned in photos at the moment but don't feel tanned at all! We have spent the best part of the first two days on the beach though, yesterday was very shady though as we didn't have much choice for the beds and ended up in a shady area under umbrellas for a fair bit of it.

Here's us looking rather warm after our walk around the medina. Stopped in this little restaurant for a cold drink, we were the only foreigners in there, everyone else was Tunisian. I love places like that and once people stopped looking at us it was nice!
