nibbling my way thru the queasy!

Helllo hellloo ladies!
i've been avoiding the computer...rather sitting on my backside at home, hence no real updating or diary waffling. :p after monday's weigh in with nil movement, i have been bumped back into the "right frame of mind" to stick with SS.

monday i restarted my SS challenge, as was feeling soo terribly sorry for myself and my bloating last sunday. all has been 100% SS, monday onward. i feel so much better about it. i do find myself looking in the fridge, but the "voice of reason & willpower" has returned, and i am able to close the door telling myself "nope nope nope." and it feels good.

I have so much going on this month, in the way of events, etc. First, my 7th anniversary, then the next day will be fynns first 1st birthday party (were having 2: cant mix my hubby's parents.) then the following weekend, we will have fynns 2nd 1st bday party followed later on in the evening to a wedding reception bash...blahhh!!!))

i think i've figured out how i'm going to deal with them all. Just as Sam has done, i'm making the decision to have a light meal at just one of the events...that probably being at fynns first party as we are going to a nice free house to eat...i'm taking the cake in though. i'll avoid the cake and order something sensible. at every other event, i'm just going to have water and my tetras (on the sly so i dont get alllll the questions and the looks).

and i'll be totally honest: I"M REAAAALLLY looking forward to having that meal. I know exactly what i am going to order, just a large green salad, dressing on the side with a grilled skinless chicken breast. it will be a nice treat.

now that i re-read that, i have to apologize for going on and on about food. its cruel of me. :( im sorry , dieters.

but on a happier note, sams whole week of 100% ss , with a 5lbs loss was oh so inpiring soooo, im aiming for a nice loss this week, while doing just the same. 100%

wow, i cant believe that i'm going to be 180lbs again. cant remember the last time i was even near that!

To say it's not easy is an understatement....but sooo worth it!!!:)

Good luc kthi weekend DIs - cant wait for your weigh in on Monday to see how your repaid for all this effort. I'm guessing 5lbs off. :)

its funny you should mention it...
just as i was having a flow free week, total SS, so water retention, all going seemingly well...
leave it to me to forget to take my BC pill on time (6 hours late) and it has triggered yet ANOTHER cycle...so im feeling uber crampy now.
i hope this doesnt effect a potentially good loss this week. waaaaa!!!
 
another day draws to a close. still SSing along.
aside of LOADS of duties and diy on the list, nothing out of the ordinary going on...

OHOHOH except ((i totally forgot all about telling y'all this earlier) this afternoon, i took advantage of having some free time while fynn was napping and had a long hot soak in the tub. ((i hadnt used the tub since we've lived in this house...mid march i think we moved in.)) anyways, i'm very pleased that my thighs didnt act as a dam today!! i dont think they even touched the sides of the tub. ok, there wasnt that much space but man o man, it was nice that i wasnt "holding loads of water hostage" behind me! lol yes i know some of you know full well what i'm talking about too!

so when i got out, i thought i'd measure myself...so far, from day 1 to now, i've lost a whopping total of 23 inches from all over. :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: ((not very much from my thighs and muffin top hips, but everywhere else seems to be going down)) woot woot!

im very shocked , pleased, etc...

ahhh ok, thats my saturday over. im going to do a little bit of painting me thinks. goodnight everyone!

what a good week for 100% SS its been. and i have to thank my CD pals for inspiring me so much to stick to it this week, plus i was in awe the week before with sam/WL8S's 5lb loss with sticing to SS...the results are in:
5lbs!!!!!!!

im so made up with that result! i thought my mid week "flow" restart was totally going to jack it all up. the scales were like 0.2 away from it being a 6 lb loss but i'll ignore that...i'll save that for next weeks weigh in.

righty, so that puts my EXACTLY at the 50lb milestone! 30 more to go! ((and maybe more afterwards, that will be determined once i reach the first major bridge...))

5more lbs to the next goal, which also has a deadline of the 29th. 5 lbs in two weeks?? i better get to that PLUS some! i'll kick my own ass if i dont. heheheh

on another note outside of the dieting realms, the week has been full of other little good, positive things...planning fynns bday cake(s) and family party, wondering what sort of dress or outfit i'll get for the wedding reception we're off to soon, getting fynn a tiny little something for his bday, etc. OHH and the biggest bit of excitement: my baby's walking now!!!!!!!!! i'm so happy and yet sad that its already happening! its so terribly cute to see him turning into such a cutie patooty little human.

ok back to the real world i go...head must come outta the clouds, there's housework needing to be done...as always! heheh

my baby turned 3 a few weeks back and has started playschool last week she goes every morning she is so dinky
she is still in 18-24 months clothes

Sounds like you've got a busy time, with lots of motivation ahead!

Ahhhh, cute little Fynn walking already - that's your peace and quiet over now - you'll have to watch him all the time. Will burn off loads calories though running after him xxx
 
must have been something in the water yesterday! (again) because i ate like..well, lets just say i ate as though i had reached my goal already. lol ((its always on a monday,..i gotta get past this naughty habit of eating on weigh in day...its the overly confident issue again i think..after having a good week of loss, its as though i'm convincing myself that i can have a little bit of food or eat this or whatever cos i have the rest of the week to lose, etc...))

but i must always remind myself that this diet isnt cheap!!! i'm grateful enough as it is to me the housewife/stay at home mum role at the moment...must not waste the cash OR my time OR my sanity! lol

all is well today though. i dont even have an inkling of an urge to eat. just wanna get on with the diet as usual. ahh (( i luv it when i am in a good dieting mind set!))

ok sooo, hmm for this week, i'm going to set my weight loss goal to...hmm lemme think...'
i;ll say 3. my goal is to lose 3 lbs.

Oh Dis, sorry you had a bad food day yesterday too, after the elation of a 5lb loss...

I dont know what came over me yesterday. I do have totm looming again and you know how much I struggled with that last month. I was determined not to give in this time but I failed..

I am beating myself up about it today though and have been good so far. You are so right about the diet not being cheap and I just want it over with as soon as possible.

Fingers crossed for a good day for us both today buddy!

It's a habit that's so easy to do and very popular too! I remember when I did Slimming World, every time I left the club after weigh in,.. off to the damn chippy! lol
I wouldn't set yourself a target loss each week - better to set yourself a target of sticking to the diet. Then whatever you lose is great news, no disappointments and no beating yourself up if you don't make it.. know what I mean? :D Here's looking ahead to a great week :)
