Booo... official weigh-in was even worse at 10st 12lbs!! So just 0.5lbs off! :( What happened to yesterday's lovely number?!

Today ended up being a bit off plan as was feeling reaaaaally rubbish with this cold. Had my HEB Raisin Wheats but then went back to the canteen for a bowl of Krave to pick at during the day, oops! Didn't end up getting any lunch, and then really wanted Heinz Tomato Soup and fresh bread to try and get rid of this cold, so had that for my dinner along with half a pack of sushi, a pack of mini chocolate shortcake biscuits, a mini flapjack, and a few other little sweet bits and pieces... Sat and watched 4 episodes of Supernatural back to back (I could watch Jensen Ackles all day, he really is a beautiful man!!) and now am really for cold & flu tablets and bed! Hope I'm feeling a bit better by tomorrow as could do with getting back into 30DS pre-Vegas but just haven't had the energy this week with feeling so poorly! :(

Anyways, tomorrow is a new day, and no excuses for not being on plan :) Happy hump day! xx

Oh I hope you feel better soon! It's probably just some water retention or something from being ill. It'll all come off next week! Concentrate on getting better, the weight loss will come. Eat lots of fruit and perhaps some more filling fibre :) :)

Scales still no better this morning at 10st 11.75lbs, booo! :( I reckon by tomorrow I'll be able to get back onto 30DS though, so that should give me a bit of a boost :)

Today's plan is to have lots of filling meals so I'm not tempted to snack on rubbish...

Breakfast: Boiled eggs & soldiers with 2 eggs, 60g bread (HEB), 10g low fat butter (2.5) along with 2 Sainsbury's BGTY Sausages (1)
Lunch: Either Jacket Potato & Beans OR Meat/Chicken with Salad (from work canteen, depends what they've got available)
Dinner: Salmon Fillet with Mini Roast Potatoes, Sugarsnap Peas & Carrots

And in between lots of fruit :)

Thanks ladies, I shall be carrying around my big water bottle with me all day and getting as hydrated as I can - be gone horrible cold!! I've become very sickly this last month, think it's down to the lack of exercise, they do say it boosts your immune system so I really need to get back onto it!! xx
 
Aww get well soon.

Your body will automatically hold onto more fat reserves if you are poorly because it thinks it might need it as a fuel source if you are unable to eat etc - makes sense if you think about it so just focus on getting better and not the scales & see what they say next week, stay on plan if you can. xx
 
Hey lovelies! Thank you for all the get well soon wishes, they absolutely worked and I'm feeling much better this evening after having slept, eaten well, hydrated, and been to my beloved Pilates class! :D She worked us harder than ever tonight but it felt great! Still a bit sneezy but definitely over the worst now :)

Food etc for today....

Breakfast: Boiled eggs & soldiers with 2 eggs, 60g bread (HEB), 10g low fat butter (2.5) along with 2 Sainsbury's BGTY Sausages (1), Tea (0.5)
Lunch: Risotto Soup (3) from work canteen, was slightly weird but quite filling! Allowing 3 as tasted a bit creamy. Sugarfree Jelly (0.5)
Exercise: Pilates
Snack: Pack of ham
Dinner: Salmon Fillet with Mini Roast Potatoes & Sugarsnap Peas
Snacks: Apricots, Koko Choc Milk (HEA)

Summary (EE): 1 x HEA, 1 x HEB, 7.5 Syns, Pilates


So now I'm going to reward myself with a few more episodes of Supernatural and the new issue of Closer! :D

Glad you're much better! Risotto soup...that is interesting! =)

Just wanted to ask how overnight oats taste with no fruit?!!! All I have are grapes at the moment, does mullerlights and oats alone work??? Lol. I got strawberry and mandarin ones.

I'm imagining banana would taste awesome. Ill have to get some fruit tomorrow so I can just use the plain yoghurt
 
It was basically very watery risotto haha! But while in the queue for it I did get a very good recipe for real risotto, so will be trying that one out soon! :D

I'm not sure overnight oats would be nice with no fruit at all, reckon it needs a bit of flavouring! I think the cherries are the nicest bit in it when I make it :)

Trying to come up with a few different meal ideas for the menu for this week, especially with it being the bank hol weekend, am thinking the following....

* BBQ Chicken Smash Pizza (have been holding onto the recipe for ages, going to finally try it seeing as already have BBQ sauce made) - syn free
* SW Doner Kebab (made this up tonight so it'll be ready in the freezer for whenever I want it) - HEB + 2.5 syns for meat
* Chorizo Pasta - 2.5 syns (sauce made up for this tonight too)
* Wedges & Dips (BBQ & Garlic Yogurt) - syn free

Any other treaty-feeling meals anyone can recommend?

i got this from Amy (law3a3m) and have had it twice...yum -meeee! lol

peel and cube a potato, chop an onion and cook them in the microwave with a wee drop veg stock (i missed this out and it was fine)
when it's mashable, add your HEa cheese and stuff in to a ww wm pitta bread, spray with frylight and put it in the oven.

i proper enjoyed this!
and with sw chips and beans it would be comfort food to the max lol.

ok so it's never gonna be a cheese and onion pasty from gregs....but it's as near as we'll get guilt free! lol.

perfect for a green day seeing as we have 2 HE's! x

Morning ladies, thanks for all the ideas! Will sit and write out this week's menu this afternoon if I manage to finish at lunchtime :) Love the sound of the "pasty" haha!

Very confused with my scales this morning, they've gone up again!!! Considering I was 100% every day last week apart from weigh-in night (and even then I didn't go mad), and was 100% yesterday, why on earth are they doing that?! :( Off to do 30DS - if that causes them to go up further due to water retention in my muscles I will not be a happy bunny! :p

Today's plan...

Breakfast: Banana, Yogurt (0.5)
Lunch: Prawn Crystal Rolls
Dinner: Salmon, Mini Roast Potatoes & Salad (leftovers from last night)
