Nikki in ??? IT STOPS NOW!

Hi Nikki,

I hope you are feeling better and having a good weekend. No, you are not a stick... you are amazingly toned. You can see how defined your leg muscles are in your fitness clothing.

I think it would be interesting for you have your body fat properly calculated. The most accurate measure is to have it done in water (the U.S. Olympic training center does this). BMI's as a fitness guideline are not all that accurate (we are all built differently and muscle, etc. make a difference). You should have a body fat ratio done... I'll bet the reason you do not "easily lose" weight, is that your body fat is pretty low.

And, if I am right... then you can stop paying so much attention to the scales and work on the definition and toning. Because muscle does weigh more than fat, but it can be shaped better. ;)

cd bar

3 pints of water
1 can of dr pepper zero
5 coffees with milk

Yum... Dr. Pepper Zero (I'm adding that to the shopping list).

Are you feeling any better?

I did Zumba this morning -- a lot of new routines. I think she should only add one or two new ones each class. It was very annoying to not know what was going on for so many dances.

But, I am still loving Zumba!

@Nikki -- This is EASY? I do not think we use the same dictionary! ;)

MM

Glad you're feeling better!!! I'd love to have my body fat properly analysed, it'd be interesting to see how much muscle I have etc and just how much is actually fat!!

It is nice to be slim!! I can't wait to get back there again!! I'll cherish it more this time, I know that sounds corny, but I will really appreciate it and maintain it!! I just need to get there this time!!!

i'd love to have my body fat, muscle etc analysed properly. love it.

well.... i didn't take it easy and i'm paying the price.

didn't make core but ran 4 miles then did zumba. half way through zumba i was knackered, my arms ached and i just wished it was over, not like me. i'm now very tired and just want to sleep. so i'm not 100% back to health. i've had to force something down my gob. if ems was at school and dude was at nursery then i'd sleep the afternoon away but i can't.... i have ems and jobs to do :(

aprox cals burnt 498+500 = 998

food

cd bar
cd porridge
kids bread crusts and bit of cheese (naughty)

4 pints of water
1 coffee
1 dr pepper zero

At least tell me that you "sat to eat" those scraps! Beck would be disappointed if you did not.

Actually, with all the calories you burned and the increased metabolic rate following your work out, I am sure it is no issue -- except psychologically. That whole "get over wasting food" fixation so many of us have.

I hope you can squeeze in a nice long soak in the tub this evening. i am sure it'll help with the aches and pains.

i didn't sit to eat. i was doing lunch, eating on the hop which so often happens. thought they'd give me some energy as i was about to fall asleep. my dad had made the bread and i love the taste of it too much. :(

this pm i ate some cheese after my cd porridge, 2 slices of bread then my cottage cheese and salad. was hungry but more tired than anything. early night i think. i'm trying to stick to 810 plan but today has not been 810 in the least. i had a massive headache this pm and just couldn't cope with it and emily (who was as good as gold ). however, if you work out the cals from today and take off my near 1000 for exercise then i guess it would be a negative equation or very nearly negative. then there's my BMR of 1479 cals burnt if i did nowt but sit on my butt. :)

my dad had made the bread and i love the taste of it too much.

I LOVE homemade bread... I'd have eaten a lot more than crusts. I have a breadmaker that I never use because "bread is evil", but I can't part with it because it was a gift from my father. (What is it with dads and homemade bread?)

I hope you have a good day (and the "sit to eat" question was meant to be funny -- what mother ever sits when her kids are home?). ;)

MM

Well.... Give myself credit..... I didn't eat the kids cheese straws. I did eat the legs off a gingerbread man (sons). Ems left some of hers and I took a bite then asked her to put it in the bin! :)

I need to focus now on my weight. It has crept up a bit this past week with being ill then being away for the weekend. Now is focus time again.

LOL, Did you sit to eat those legs? Otherwise it seems especially cruel. ;)

I have bird food bag for things like the gingerbread leftovers, and left over apple slices, etc. My neighbour is big on feeding the birds -- so I give it to her.

What are "cheese straws"?

I hope your day is going well. I am going to try to finish typing up my Beck ARCs and do some relaxation exercises as I am feeling very stressed atm.

MM

cheese straws are like english cheese scones but made into sticks and called cheese straws. :)

Sound yummy and fattening.
