Nikki in ??? IT STOPS NOW!

Love the name change on FB Nikki Zumba!!! ;)

Yesterday was pants! Great exercise.... Core and Zumba 600 cals burnt. However, food wise :( was a hungry day and I was stressed but I'll give myself credit for not drinking any wine even though I hit the biscuit tin. I had a teacake at soft play, dude took about 1/4 though. It's been ages since I had one. It was wonderful and again I'll give myself credit for not ordering a 2nd and being an amazing pig! Think my cals worked out as 1600 but then I can take 600 off that from my exercise.

Well it's April month of the egg frenzy. Booked Disneyland for the kids 16th may.

Can't decide whether to do just 1 RFL with Ems or do 2, running one and walking a 2nd. Works out expensive and 5k is a piece of pi$$ in my world (very lucky to be able to say this). However I run it for a PB. Maybe I should do the running next year..... Any ideas pls?!?!?!?!

Are you doing this on your own or with a team? with a team it reduces the individual cost. I love teh idea of oyu doing it with Ems. Why not do a 5k with Ems and find something more challenging to do on your own. I have friends that are doing a half-marathon and Marathon fro breast cancer.

I hope you have a good day. And credit for not just maining the biscuit, but doing it proper justice. (I am still feeling bad about the handicapped Gingerbreadman.) I guess he could get some artificial ones.

Race for life :) I'm doing a 10km run and a half marathon this year anyway but usually do a 5k for a bit of fun, on my own! Usually just for a personal best (PB) :D last year did it in 29mins lol. It's £15 each for the RFL then if I do one myself too it will be £45 altogether before I fund raise. My biggie is the half marathon for the diabetic association in September.

Love the gingerbread man :):):)

Good morning Nikki.. Disney land your kiddies will really enjoy it there. X

Hi. Glad you're back in the UK and I hope you had a fab time :) kids are going to love it. Dude was 1yrs old when we took him last year so don't think he fully appreciated it and Emily screamed on most of the kids rides. This year is going to be very interesting :) dude will probably want to walk some of the time and might scream on the rides.

Took this picture of me from a photo at my mums house. Think I was about 20st here.

Afternoon Nikki,

Wow! I sure make a lot of typos -- sorry.

I think that the family event with Ems, is just that: a family event. I know that I spend more on a mother/daughter cinema visit than that entry fee. So, you could think of it as that (time with your daughter).

And, if you are going to do the training then entering a race to "test" your PB could be considered a "Beck reward and/or motivator".

Do you spend a ton on gel nails, fancy hair cuts, false eyelashes? Maybe the entry fees are your "splurges".

Also, when you get ready to collect sponsors for the diabetes half -marathon -- please post a link on FB (or PM me) -- I would like to sponsor you.

I love the fact that you call your son "Little Dude" -- but with my vivid imagination I see him as looking something like this:

I saw that thumbnail of you much heavier, and it looks a little like you (hair and specs), but what a difference.

The dog is awfully cute. Is it a Sheltie?

MM

Yeah, a sheltie :)

Pics of my dude :)

Hi Nikki --

Good photo and looking right at the camera. I love Dalmations, but I heard that they are very high energy. Is that so?

Happy Belated April Fools!! Been AWOL today, busy old day! Work was fine, leg is fine, diet is fine, I'm fine :D lol.

I've decided that I'm going to have start practicing the fake tan these next couple of weeks. I'm so white I'm see through, I don't have time to get a spray tan before the wedding so I'll have to get practicing with the old St Tropez again, got quite good at it last summer.

I also need to find time to get my hair cut, I'm off on Thursday, so I'll get it done then I hope. I've got loads of time off in April, with all the public/bank hols and my annual leave from when I was sick which needs using up.

Love the pics of Dude and the doggy! Hope you've had a good day..... Eeeeeee just thought, your zumba course is THIS month now!! How exciting!!! And I should be back at zumba in a couple more weeks :D

Molly's an older dog now mm but when she was younger she was very energetic! Used to run as fast as a greyhound but couldn't corner as fast.

My Zumba course is 16 days away or 2 weeks in Sunday. Disney is 6 weeks on Monday :)

Paul thinks teesside high would be better for her but um still undecided between there and yarm! Just a worrying decision. Although after a year she can always change to yarm. Just think dude would be better at yarm.

Glad your legs feeling better, diets going well etc. Mine feels out if control at the min. Hard to keep it on track. So tired lately that I feel like I'm living on energy foods!

Ems mothers day thing today. Wish I'd put her in a dress. She looked like a boy! :(

She looks cute. And a lot like her mum, I think. You have a little "mini me" there.

MM

Actually I was looking at my picture and thinking that I really wasted my youth being fat. I got bullied at school over it and missed out on all the usual fun stuff.

Ah, but you are fit and healthy and look fab now! Focus on the here and now... as a historian I can tell you that, "Although, we can rewrite history, we can't really change it." So, as Beck would say, "Are there other things about your childhood and adolescense that were 'good', enjoyable, etc. Focus on those."

I hope you are having a good weekend.

I feel exactly the same. I was lucky I wasn't bullied at school because I was normal weight back then and I have a big mouth, so even though one girl tried to bully me she didn't get very far.

But I feel like I missed out on so much in my 20's because I was fat. I still went out lots but had zero confidence, which meant i never felt comfortable and it always showed!! Now I'm in my 30's I'm still missing out because my friends are all settled now and I'm not, it's all my own doing!
