i'm back but not on plan. flew back yesterday not done too bad whilst away.... eating bad now though. back on it tomorrow.

drank too much wine....

disney was fab

ems loved it

food very expensive

lived on cod goujons with chips and tar tar sauce but gave away chips.

tried to stay away from bread which went reasonably well, it's when i came home last night it went pear shaped.

tried not to eat desserts and sweets etc that went ok

each day got worse though.

don't know how much i've put on.

only went to the loo for the first time since tues yesterday pm at the airport. had to leave hubby with both kids. typical. :D

will be back tomorrow with the bad news. :(

holiday went too quick :(:(:(:(
 
Good to have you back. Glad you had a great time, don't dwell on it! You went on holiday for a break, that means from everything.
 
well.... 6lbs on. most of which i'm hoping is water retention of my fat cells and in general.

doing a ss+ day to get my head back in the game. then 810 for a couple of days before going back to 1000. doing it to get rid of the water basically too. hoping i can drop 4lbs over night. last time i started cd i dropped 5lbs straight away overnight leading to 11lbs in my first week, which is then around a 1lb a day. i'm not expecting to do this now but i just want a quick in again.
 
I've dropped 4lbs in day 1. I know it's liable to change, but that good old water retention. Always good for a moral boost!

not going well. have had 2 shakes so far (well 1 bar and a porridge), half an orange.... typical.

nevermind, i'm not doing ss+ to get into ketosis... just to get rid of water.

got body combat tonight. mind i'm feeling very tired. need some decent sleep. been on a high since tuesday and going away etc. late nights early mornings.
 
You'll be fine, you're one of the most committed people I've met on here. Give yourself a chance, like you say it isn't about ketosis, it's about water retention. Coming down off the holiay hig can't be helping either. Keep glugging away!
 
i need a glass of wine. i've got so used to drinking of a night, every night that it's very hard. this is probably why i've gained 6lbs. it's the vino not the food :eek:

lovely pic!! you look totally slim to me, so massive congrats on all the losses. dont you find its harder to restart when you are so near goal? i do. good luck for this week nikki.
 
well a 4.5lbs gain this week. managed to drop 1.5lbs overnight. been for official weigh in with CDC and asking questions about my root treatment for next week.

anyway the long and short of it all is..... i have a day and night out on friday with hubby and his works 'christmas' do. so blackpool pleasure beach, a few stiff drinks and an indian. no chance of staying on plan as i don't eat meat and hate prawns so veggie option indian for me which is usually lacking in protein.

need to stay on the 1000 plan for root treatment then back to 810 plan afterwards. as there's no cutting involved it's like a mega large filling taking out my root from my tooth there's no healing to do so no need to stay up plan afterwards. so after my dentist's visit next tuesday i'll be going to the 810 (as i'm not allowed to go lower due to being too near goal and less than 1 st away from perfect bmi of 25) for 1 week then back up to the 1000. just need my head back in the game. thinking of going lower still. doing it on the 1000 plan. i like this plan. it lets me have apples, salad, a bit of pasta etc. plus my 2 cd products. i like my cd products and hated having to drop from 4 to 3 then 3 to 2. if i could still have 4 and a couple of lighter meals i'd be happy. like 4 cd products and a salad for lunch then a green and white meal for tea. i'd be in wonderland.

had a tough time at the gym today. start from the beginning.... i went to body combat last night and had a thought to book ems in to the kids group but forgot and thought nothing more of it. turned up today and they'd cancelled it as no-one was booked in and they were both on courses. was so angry as i used to book ems in all the time then others just turned up and signed the sheet so thought that there was no need to do it anymore cause the woman knows my days are tues and thurs pm. she usually tells me when i need to book in but as i'd been on holiday there was no opportunity etc. anyway i was NOT happy. we pay a monthly fee for ems to be part of the gym and do these extra activities. so i kicked up a fuss and they tried to find someone that was kids club trained, i tried phoning my parents and my friend but it was just not happening. so they tried to get a creche space for emily. they managed that so i was free to go and do my gym work. they said they'd pay for the creche space. been having a few problems with my club as there are no swimming lessons for ems, i've been told i can't take my running pram out with the running club etc. bit miffed about stiff in general and this was the icing on the cake.

anyway as i left i decided to book ems in and found that they've cancelled the whole week of activities. so thursday at the gym has gone for a burdon. so i'm now going to have to get up at 6am and go running outside. yes, i have been putting it off so yes, i'll now have to bite the bullet and get my lazy butt out of bed and get out of the house and do my 3-4 miles outside. the good news is that it is better for me to run outside than in, it tones me up quicker and drops the weight faster. it's harder work but worth it. so this will be the start of my outside running. i've found a running pram on ebay, just what i want so i'm watching it as i'm not sure if i really want to pay £350 for one. however, i don't want to pay £50 for a knackered one either. hard choices. hubby says get one new next month but he's been saying that for 3 months now and things just keep cropping up. i'm worried about getting a new one just incase i don't like running with one. it will then be a waste of money.

i think it's the angle of the shot that makes me look ok - totally slim, cause i'm not yet. i'll post another pic for contrast.

Sounds like your back to your old self to me! lol

Running pram sounds like the best option, you'll enjoy being outside running again once you get back into it.

well back from blackpool. had a fab time. lots to drink. dancing, walking. i went on the big one and valhaller which means i got wet.

i've just entered the 5k race for life and the middlesbrough tees pride a 10k. so i now have my races lined up.

  1. hartlepool 5k RFL 6th june
  2. middlesbrough tees pride 10k 5th september
  3. Great North Run 13.1 miles newcastle to south shields 19th september.
yeah!

went outside for my first outside run of the year. did 3 miles in 33 mins. was really nice outside and the time flew by quickly whereas in the gym i've been finding it hard going on the treadmill. i was really surprised as i ran the full 3 miles without stopping and that inc 2 hills. loved it. so happy.

sort of been off/on diet but not sticking to it a great deal. i've my root canal tuesday and then wednesday it'll be back on track with lots of outside running no matter what the weather. i will get to goal sometime this year lol :D
