it's a daft feeling why i feel down, nothing diet wise of doc wise.

anyway, chin up girl, at least its friday. you have so much on in your life and push yourself so hard that i'm not surprised sometimes you have a low moment. maybe take some time out for yourself this weekend, and i know i will get slated for this but maybe a day off CD or a meal off might help cheer you up - low carb and healthy of course! cheer up lady, i am here for you if you need to talk/vent/rage/cry!
 
not really following CD at the moment. just confused at any plan higher than the 1000. i'm tending to do my own thing and just calorie count.

need to go back down i think. probably to the 1000 to get my last poundage off. would love to loose another stone. just feel so demotivated right now.

feeling very positive diet wise today. had about 1500 cals. worked out i'd had 1100 cals but as i had a 3 scoops of nuts i decided to call it 1500. thinking of keeping it a little lower.

so hot here today. downing the water tonight as i've been lax today. forgotten just how good water it at taking your mind off food. so far i've had 4 warm pints and a nice cold pint with ice in it. had 2 pints this am too.

my skin's been looking bad lately and i've had a few spots. think i need to drink more water.

long run tomorrow and i'm aiming for 6-6.5 miles. not long left to get the milage up. looking into getting a couple of gel sachets for running. going to have to start taking out water soon. post 7 miles i'll need to.

going to go out pretty early as i need it cool. car temp for outside hit 32 deg c today. wow!

well, i'm back from my run with swollen fingers, can't get rings off, looks bad. apparently it's normal and to do with the blood flow.... something about the blood flow increases to your legs and hands when running to help the muscles and it flows to the hands/fingers faster than the blood flow away from the hands/fingers and the hands can't cope with it whereas the legs can. to solve the problem i can raise my arms in the air when i'm running every few miles... if i don't already look like a pillock i will now :eek:

anyway i didn't manage 7 miles but did 6.80 miles which is almost 7 miles only .20 (.25 is a quarter of a mile) off it, so probably around just over 2 more mins running and i would have been there. my sat nav watch says 879 cals burnt. took me 1hr and 15mins.

just had about 3 pints of water (2 before shower and 1 after it) when i got home, a pint before i left.

i live miles away from you in teesside in the north east. been lots cooler here today. been in my fleece. my parents are sweating and saying.... it's so hot etc, ems goes for a walk with me this afternoon (2 miles in 1 hour, she's so slow, bless her, i call her 'little legs'), so daddy can watch F1 in peace and i put a summer cotton coat on her saying it'll be cold. there are people wearing sleeveless tops, chaps running topless sweating and me in my gap fleece feeling the weather is pretty pleasant. yesterday it was 32 C and hot, today it was 25 C and cold lol.

bit miffed that i didn't manage the extra 2 mins as it wouldn't have killed me, but my fingers were feeling unpleasant and i was glad to be almost home, could have ran round the block again and would have reached my target. hips feeling a bit better but still not 100%.

feeling tired, very tired. i'm starting to think i drink so much coffee just to keep myself going. i love making my iced coffees at the moment and use 2 tsp of strong (kenco rich, the blue one) coffee in it. makes a pint. low cal too.

Hiya Hun how're you doing? Your wedding photos on Kez's diary are gorgeous!! Loved your dress, and where did you get married it looks beautiful!!

I'm watching the new series of Biggest Loser in an effort to keep motivated, I've even set Sky+ to record the full series. They're doing some medical research into obesity on these people too this series, which is fitting in really well with the book I'm reading too, all in a huge effort to try and retrain my brain and try and get away from my old habits etc!

thanks for the compliment bout pics. we got married at redworth hall near darlington/newton aycliffe. was a wonderful day.

my chiropractor helped me lots. she got me to stand straight and she pointed out that my feet were actually pointed outwards - heels in and toes out like a duck. she also pointed out that i was relaxed on my left side and solid on my right side and my hips were even like this. when i stood properly with feet together and legs straight my left hip was higher than my right hip. when she stood my up properly it felt really strange and awkward. painful really.

she said that as my ligaments and muscles had been damaged my left side was pulled tight and my right side was relaxed and spongy like it should be.

this meant that when i ran my muscles were literally banging together with no spring in them being tight. she massaged me well and gave me tips on getting myself back to normal.

i've been following her advice and my hip is easing. might go for a sports massage next week.

i think that given any reason to eat like mad i would right now. feeling hungry tonight. had a sneaky options hot choc. however, i'm banking on the cals i've burnt covering some of this. mind i'm still in 'credit' with my allowed ww points.

hope you get back on track soon.
 
well my running schedule is not going well. didn't go for a run yesterday for some reason or other. was going to go out today until i realised that i've an app at 10am. then i'll only have half an hour then i'll be picking up ems from nursery. so i guess i'll be running at the gym. i'll do 50 mins of running which should be around 4 1/2 miles. not sure how this reflects on my target from monday....

why do i feel like backing out of my runs?

legs are a bit sore but still.... going to go out running tomorrow, might do it again at the gym. another 4.5 miles would be good. then a 4 on friday when i will have to get my bum outside ready for sunday again.

scales are finally dropping back again. being careful and consistently writing stuff down seems to be working.

there was a chap at the body pump class tonight. yes he was a man and obviously weighed more, he lifted more weights than me but in this body pump class he burnt off over 600 cals. so i've decided that for the intrim, until i get my butt into putting on my polar watch and heart rate monitor, then i'll call my body pump classes as 350cals.

i didn't go running today. i've decided to do it at the gym tomorrow again. which means i'll be 2 hours of exercise down this week.... then i'll go out friday morning. the reason this am was i needed to go and get stuff from the shops and tomorrow i'm going to our local council sports centre and enrolling ems in some free summer activities and it opens at 9am. i'm even thinking of getting my dad to drop off ems at school and i'll go and get there for 9am as i just don't know how busy it's going to be.

i'd like to do swimming every morning at 8.30-9.00 each morning and then gymnastic every thursday afternoon at 3.30-4.15pm. that should keep her busy.

i meant to say that i went to the docs yesterday and he's organised some bloods to be done. electrolytes, iron and thyroid. he said nobody knows more about loosing weight and dieting but me. lol.
