It was when they sang Jerusalem and cut to the crowds outside all singing and waving their flags that got me.
I'm not really into the Royals but was disappointed to see only 1 house with bunting on near me. I'm old enough to remember watching Charles and Diana's wedding as a teenager and I remember lots of houses being decorated. You get more flags up for football these days!

We use holiday blocks so somebody only has to come 3 times while we are away

As a complete fish fanatic I have to point out that your actually better not feeding them than using those blocks. They can cause so many problems in a tank because its such a controlled climate.

Haha Marge! A friend is selling a 3ft almost new tank so we're considering buying it but are trying to decide if we can be bothered with the upkeep as we've both had fish before so know what's involved.

We had lots of bunting here, but London was mad with royal stuff anyway, even the local cafe had bunting everywhere! I cried my heart out - but as I can weep at the drop of a hanky, that's no suprise lol xxx

Gig was ok but felt the lack of alcohol for once............also seen them a lot recently so was a little bored which could account for it. Going to one tonight, have been looking forward to it for months and I will certainly be strutting my stuff tonight. Going on my own though as missus has succumbed to the lurgy. Before that I am off to where we used to live as they are having a post wedding party tonight so am dropping in for an hour or so. Just to be nosey really lol. (Lisa, if it was up to me I would not go for the fish again, they are a lot more trouble than they are worth lol)

I would go for the fish Lisa but then I'm in the process of setting up a new tank right now after not having one in over a year.

A fortnight might be a bit too long Bren. Do you not have someone who could pop in after a week to feed them to tide them over until you get home?

We've decided against the tank a friend was selling as it's too big but have seen a smaller one which would be perfect. Going to another aquatic place tomorrow for further research but saw some fab boggle eyed black goldfish today which looked like velvet! Jo I'll send you a link on FB for another friends business.
