Oh my goodness I'm so thrilled about this!
On the Clothes Exchange Wish sent e a pair of size 20 jeans, I thought oh they won't fit me for months so admired them and put them to one side.
Tonight I was upstairs recovering from a migraine, when Dort brought her boyfriend round (to meet my son I'm supposed to be at work).
Anyway I grabbed a pair of jeans to wear to go down and say hello.
Well I knew when I was trying to pull them up they were the size 20 ones, so I thought I'd have a go.
I only went and got them done up!!! Ok they were tight and I couldn't wear them for long and a serious muffin top going on BUT I got them done up! This time last year I was a size 30 in jeans!!!

Determination is Key
Still no change in either the bra or clothes size department, but... got the measuring tape out yesterday evening, and seems I've lost 2 inches off my waist and 3 inches off my underbust. I'm confused that my bra size at the least hasn't changed, but delighted with the inch loss!

My bra size hasn't really changed but I'm using the first hooks instead of the last
You'll probably fit the last hooks of the next back size down then
I was told in a bra shop ages ago you should always do it on the loosest, then if it stretches in the wash THEN you use the first two set of hooks

I had a great NSV today I popped into Evans (not really thinking of clothes but was going to get some tights) and saw a rack of sale clothes so I looked through and found a red dress for me to wear tomorrow. Yes RED!!! And it's a SIZE 14!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FOURTEEN!!!!!!!! Ok so an Evans 14 but it totally fits and may even be a little roomy

For my Christmas present to myself and BIGGEST NSV so far is . . .

A pair of lovely pale grey, furry lined, mid-calf suede boots.
I've always had chunky calves - even when I took a size 12 - and the last pair of boots I bought was in the Winter of 1975 when I worked in London. They cost me a fortune as they were from a specialist shoe shop where they custom made boots to fit your calves.
These were from a normal shoe shop. Now okay they are supposed to be a bit baggy and on me they are skin tight BUT I can get them on and zip them up.
