NSVs - Non Scale Victories

I just bought a size 18 dress from sainsbury's. That means that the last 5 items of clothing I have bought are in an 18- maybe I can stop saying that they are just cut big and start saying I am (almost) an 18!

I find now when I sit on the ground doing exercise I can really feel the bones in my bottom. This is a strange sensation - all my extra bottom padding is obviously dissappearing.

Progress has been slow for me lately, so it is lovely to report a nsv. I decided to paint the bedroom ceiling this morning - the first decorating I have done for over a year. When I put on my decorating clothes (an old pair of pyjamas) the trousers fell straight down. I had to safety pin them up to get on with my jobs. I couldn't stop smiling!

I wore a size 12 (eep!) top today having previously been a size 18/20 and my flatmate at Uni said I was looking really good and much thinner! Made my day Also, this may be slightly weird, but before I had a lot of weight on my stomach so my belly button was squashed, into a kinda lip shape, and now the weight is going it's opening up into a normal circle shape! WOO =D xxxx

Bought a skirt a few months ago in a 14 and it was much too tight and barely fitted at all so I got the size up, it made me feel rubbish.

Put it on yesterday and it fit fine - I thought it was the 16... then I checked the label, it was the 14!!

Just packing away the washing including a pair of black trousers. Thought they were my tight 20s and was glad they were starting to feel looser this week. When I checked the label they were actually my 18s - that and my size 18 jeans are needing a belt .... Size 16 here I come
