Yikes new scales cost £70! :( flaming dude. Also read some reviews saying they shouldn't be kept in the bathroom as steam can affect them :( oh well!

I keep mine in the kitchen slid under the microwave cart. I slide them out and back. Hard surface floor and minimal movement (lest it affect calibration).
 
I might have to do something similar. Somewhere away from kids. Might put them in Paul's en-suite. I say Paul's it ours but she's so messy I don't like using it. Also old shower and no loo!
 
Thought I'd update eye picture the right eye that was so bloodshot after laser eye. It will be 4 weeks tomorrow since I had it done.

So the first two pictures of my right eye was the day after surgery (if I remember correctly), the next 2 are from today. The difference in pictures is one was taken from a reflection then the 2nd one and today's two were from me turning the camera around (using the front camera) on my iPhone.
 
How is the vision. Does it still feel odd?
 
mel, i'm loving my vision. i can't believe my luck at how good it's been.

well this so far has been ok although scales are rubbish! hate them with a vengence. i'm using a spare pair and i think they're out and it's driving me insane. going to have to get a new pair.

so far this week my exercise has included:-
15 min cycle and 15 min cross train = 250 cals
5 mile run = 700 cals
4 mile run = 498 cals
zumba = 450 cals
zumba = 450 cals

need to do a 3 miler tomorrow. was going to do one today but i never got round to it and haven't been child free either!

no wine this week. i am getting better with not drinking it. just wish the scales showed an improvement. bought so slim gum today to try too. taste's very strange at first.

Great fitness! I'm glad to hear your eyes are great. I have some of that gum, but I've not tried it. It will be interesting to hear what you think of it.

what heat? was raining yesterday. been hightailing it to the gym for my sundays as i need to use eye drops straight afterwards as i get quite dry when running and sweat badly and don't really want it in my eyes. good thing too as i bumped into someone i know who's not seen me in ages, also a runner, and she asked how i was etc etc. gave me a good tip.... rub vaseline around your eyes and it stops the sweat going into your eyes! cool!

i'm having leg trouble at the minute too. i can run forever as i'm fit enough to do it but my legs won't respond. they get heavy. thinking either lack of carbs or lactic acid build up. need to just work through it. uncomfortable though and my toes have started again. whenever i do longer distances my toes next to my big toes start hurting. i've lost the nail on them quite a few times. i'll have to put something over them when i run and try to ignore. might spray some ibru on them see if that helps. think i'm going to loose those nails though!

feeling very positive lately. must be all this running making me feel extra happy.

You'll be absolutely fine for GNR!!! I'm so jealous, wish I could run, it never ever gets any easier for me, no matter how much I try I can't do it :(

diet.... pffff! put on 1lb yesterday. trying really hard, feel really buzzy and good and this happens! everyone says my face looks thinner. my tummy is really going down. i'm running loads and this always happens.... my body shape changes. just wish my weigh was going down and i was 2 st lighter.

my sports bras are getting really hard to get on. it's like i'm thinning down everywhere but my boobs are getting bigger! yikes.
