Thanks I'm looking forward to trying some mims and getting creative with food.

For dinner tonight oh made rice, chicken cooked its own juices in a pan and a soup type dish with onion, courgette and chopped tomatoes and some herbs from his country. I had the chicken and the soup I'm guessing that was ok, haven't really tracked my carbs today ( will do in future) but don't think it was over 20.

I've had a thumping headache all evening since getting home from work, could it be caffeine withdrawals already?

nothing in mind to cook up at the moment i have been so busy i havent had the time to look for anything, but its good to know i will make a note of the sites for the future
 
If hubby is having rice you can have cauli rice - grated, microwaved or fried cauliflower. MUCH yummier than it sounds. Although cauli can be highish in carbs for an allowed vegetable so with the salad it might not have been great yesterday. But for the future!

I think subway salad carb counts assume you had standard ingredients. If you don't have tomato (or just a little) or sweet corn but have lots of lettuce, cucumber, olives etc the carb count is probably lower.

Re: tablet sweeteners - when I use them I use candarel, others use Splenda. Most tablet sweeteners are fine but try to avoid the granulated as they add a carby anti-clumping agent.
 
Headache could be carb or caffeine withdrawal. Recommend lots of water and cup of two of hot stock to keep your salt level up. Do use paracetamol too - no need to suffer!

Thanks for all your help I didn't have any sweet corn in the salad and will leave the tomatoes out next time.

What hit stick do you recommend? I have a jar of bouillon here but is 1.5g of carbs per serving.

Today has gone ok so far, didn't plan ahead again but had 2 bacon rashers and 2 scrambled eggs for breakfast. We went out mid morning and I grabbed a bag of lettuce leaves and a Mattisons smoked pork sausage just incase, well we were out longer than expected so I ended up munching on a 200g bag of lettuce and are half of the sausage, by the time we got home tho
I didn't feel too good I just felt really weak, shaky and sooo tired, I'm never tired enough to sleep in the daytime but I ended up going bed for 2 hours which shocked me, I would of slept longer if I didn't have a baby presented to me with a dirty nappy lol

I also had a few olives and some cheddar cheese to snack on.

Have 200g of cauliflower ready for dinner tonight but not sure what to have with it probably some chicken breast in mayo as its quick and easy.

Only 8g of carbs consumed today, do I have to try and eat 20g or just not go over it?

One thing that I haven't been to great on is the diet fizzy, I've been drinking dr pepper zero, I know it hasn't effected my loss when I did a vlcd but it really helps me through the day, I am going to try to get off it though.

Just hoping I don't get tired tomorrow like I did today as am at work.

Thank you I am getting there slowly, I had breakfast before coming to work 2 rashers of bacon and scrambled eggs with mushrooms, i never normally eat untill 11ish do its strange having breakfast at 8, I made a salad last night for work today ( cucumber, lettuce, mixed leaves, radishes and feta cheese) I bought some mayo with me incase I want it. I have a bag of mr ports crackles for a snack and some black olives.

I couldn't resist but I had a sneaky weigh in this morning and am 2lbs down from Monday, I know it's water weight but it's nice to see it going ready for the fat burning to start! :)

I'm not sure if I'm in ketosis yet but definately not as hungry today as I have been previously although I wasn't starving before, had another weigh in today I really couldn't help myself and am down 4lbs I'm hoping for 1 more lb my Monday and il be happy!

Going to have some creamy garlic mushrooms and bacon for tea tonight, lovely :)

Why can't you do atkins?

No plans yet going to check out weather first but have a ton of housework to catch up on!

Although atkins is working for me I know I'm going back to s&s soon as I'm going to be really really busy soon and have soo many packs left and don't want to waste them x
 
I just cnt stick to it, the Whole cutting carbs thing is so hard! Plus I'd rather not be in ketosis, I'm not even doing s&s (again) now lol honestly I just cnt get into I failed straight away on day one grrrr!!!

Meant to be really lovely this weekend :) xxx

It isnt as hard as I thought tbh and already I'm not craving crap which is great. The only thing I'm finding now is I'm not hungry so just forced some tea down me too tired to cook so just heated up a sausage.

I think the Atkins bars are great alot if people don't reccomrnd them but I've been fine on them, they do cost £2.09 each but boots have a box of 15 online for £11 and they are 3 for 2 so I've got 45 bars for £22, Bargain!

I'm worried about the hair loss again as I have tufts growing back now lol but when I start s&s I'm going take tablets to see if they help with it hopefully.

Are you still doing ww or just taking a break for now? I feel like im in the zone now how I was when I was on s&s and just feel soo great.

Once your head is there you will be fine but it's soo hard getting there, I know exactly how you feel x
 
I think what also puts me off is it doesn't seem practical wen ur out and about, does that make sence? Do u have to Pre make everything before u go somewhere? And then if course ketosis puts me off lol

I've had the Atkins bars I really like them! Why do ppl not like havin them?

Off to the southport air show tomorrow then a family BBQ Sunday :)

I find it easy when out and about as you can grab a salad or have a sausage i eat the large mattessons ones or you can have pepperamis chicken breast etc I always have cathedral city or mini baby bels to hand aswell

I think the bars stall some people and alot if people like to be green and clean so nothing processed fizzy etc but if it wasn't for the bars and de pepper zero I wouldnt if got through it lol

I'm not sure if im in ketosis as don't think I have bad breath (il test on my mum tomorrow lol) but I'm definately not hungry now.

Oh lovely I love bbq's we have literally a whole lamb in our freezer do we are going to have BBQ lamb soon :)

You are soo good at maintaining when on ww and cc, are you actually losing ATM or sts? X

Losing? Pffft! I don't even know what that is anymore lol I'm sts all the time, just like I will of stayed the same tomorrow on my WI and that's with having s&s packs for a few days instead of meals!!!
I am the queen on maintenance lol
