Oh to be a consistent Target Member!!

Success at Morrison's...don't we all love deals & saving £££'s.
Joseph had a bit of trouble last week when he left behind a bag of triple choc cookies. What happened was we had 2 of their carrier bags split so moved to a locker area to repack and presume it was left behind there. Anyway Joseph rang the store, spoke to the store manager (always goes to the top man!) and was told to go in next time we were there and they'd replace them. Not only did he get that but was also give 2 strong carrier bags and £10 voucher! I also had a voucher for spend £30 get £4 off. Bearing in mind I never spend £30 but with everything considered we had a big shop today, used the two vouchers, spent £32 but only paid £18. :D

Had a call from sisters inviting me out to lunch next Thursday. Seems we're going Italian. Hum...I don't eat pasta or really want a thin pizza but checked out the menu online and think I shall be alright. Maybe a warm goats cheese salad. Veggie burger would be OK if it's not quorn....

When I added the tom puree and soy sauce it came out like a nice chasseur sauce...tasty!

Thanks. I throw everything in...potatoes, zucchini, peppers, leeks, sprouts, carrots, mushrooms and a few soft small tomatoes etc today...and the chicken style pieces. That pan full was all mine! :p
Joseph had rollmops and a salad. I don't really do fish and raw is a complete no-no! But he was raised on that type of food and loves it.

Hope Matt does well!

There is a half marathon in our town this morning, the first for many years!

The tomatoes topped with tuna and cheese looked fab, will have to have that for lunch this week!

Seems a good time to me!

And will definitely be giving that a go, I also like tuna, red onion and cheese on toast.

Thanks Jaffa. I think the change is that I'm making sure I eat sufficient at every meal so I don't want to snack. Plus doing a little 'salad' a day...remember that one? lol. Well adding 2 ryvita but we couldn't have carbs which made it tough.

It was really Lynne's comment about planning her food better that got me thinking that part of the reason I snack is that I'm just plain hungry and start prowling around for something quick & tasty!
