Oh to be a consistent Target Member!!

I hope you're ok Janet

Hello!
I just wondered if it would be ok to join in cheering you on?

I'm not at target but I want to get into the "this is for life" mentality that is needed (I presume) to stay on target.

:welcome: Mamma, happy to have you all here joining in. Yes I think we all have that mentality that we want this once and for all and definitely for life!!

Thanks...all OK here Lynne & Jaffa with the broken ankle saga. I decided that resting does help to relieve the soreness. The bruising is getting less now too.
I downloaded a book on my kindle that I wanted to read over Christmas and never did so have been engrossed in that.

My eating wasn't good yesterday...far too snacky...
Today the scales were 10.7 3/4 so have needed to rein myself in with something called "Self control"
Thankfully today I've been much better...took a pic of lunch today! :p

Just seen on fb that my consultant is looking for new premises to move us too...oh I hope she finds somewhere! The place we're in is sooo cold, it has some ceiling height electric heaters but doesn't really lift the temps. She has 3 sessions on that same day so will need a place vacant all day.

Don't know about diddy, took me ages to eat that lot!
Guess that's why there are different books for different people...something to suit everyone.
I read that Waterstones said the kindle had died...people were preferring real books again. I've got a kindle on m phone so am reading the book on there.

Food for today:
Breakfast: options (2) banana, apple, grapes, alpro yog hexa, walnuts hexb
Lunch: feta cheese hexa, hard boiled egg, jacket potatoes, mixed salad, fat free dressing
snack: options (2) small bar choc (7)
supper: minis hexb, meringue (2 1/2) raspberries, 2 dsp yog (part hexa) grapes

Better day today! syns: 13 1/2

My friend was saying that about the kindle on Saturday
But I love mine and it saves me taking 7 books when I go away on holiday and taking up precious space.
Our session is in a church hall and its either freezing or ok as the heating keeps breaking down
Joseph's been reading a book on mine, he's talked about buying one but don't think he actually will.
I've persuaded my 2nd cousin to get one. She visits her brother in Zimbabwe. He lives there but they don't stay there of course but travel to say Namibia for the holiday. I told her about the long battery life...as there's not a lot of opportunity to recharge batteries in certain parts of Africa. When we've been there it's really hard not to be able to use a hair dryer or Joseph to shave! You really have to plan ahead when travelling there.

Awake quite early, so wanted to read the end of the book! That's my trouble, once I start I can't put them down!

Scales down 2 1/2 - 10.5 1/4 so looking better today!

Hopefully get up and potter around today. No doubt about it my ankle does benefit from the resting but makes me feel so lazy.
