We did it for a short time but it didn't make a difference to us, Cole still woke up four hours later. So we just dropped it and he started sleeping 7-4 then had a bottle then slept until 7. Then one day he just didn't wake up for his 4-5am bottle and that was it. Every now and then he has a bottle in the night because if something wakes him up he realises he's hungry so then wants feeding. But that's less than once a week and it means he sleeps until 8-8.30am then so we don't mind I'd personally just let Ben decide when he wants a feed as he may just drop it himself but it's what works for you xxx
Good luck! X37+1 going for a nice massage today. She mentioned pushing some labour trigger points so we shall see. My mission is to get baby on it's way before induction is required at 38+3 keep them fingers crossed x

Cai - they don't really like to test babies formally as it's very unreliable and by 2 years a lot of allergies have been outgrown. However it does depend on the specialist you see, when I was doing paeds the specialist would test 1 year olds (skin prick) the other more common route is what you are doing now; try the foods etc and see what the reaction is. Keep a diary but a good way is to get a phone book and list alphabetically eg. Apple no reaction Banana 14/7/14 blotchy rash chest Banana 1/8/14no reaction Egg - seamed to have tummy ache and diarrhoea 12/7/14 Then you can build up a directory and refer back easily xx
Completely different question topic now...teeth. I felt Stevie's 3rd tooth last night and today when I had a proper feel it's not a front tooth but I side one... When we were out at the park he was laughing and I was trying to see it. He was relaxed so I peeled his top lip back and I could see 4 or 5 teeth!! I don't think they have broken the gum, so is that where they are before or is he getting a lot of teeth at once?? Xx
Have any of you ladies taken your little ones swimming yet? I'm planning to take Oliver once he's 3 months old and I've ordered him some swimming trunks and armbands... What I want to know is if anyone has used those Huggies little swimmers and if they are any good?

Ok cool thanks. I got the armbands simply cos they were cheap and they are ages 3-24 months so we have them for when he needs them later on. I'll buy a pack of little swimmers as a back up but will prob try out this swimming trunks over a nappy first. I love swimming, so I'm looking forward to taking my boy
Yeh I must admit I'm considering just taking him on my own as the parent and toddler sessions are £5 a time here money we don't have!Yeah we use the Huggies swim nappies and then he has an all in one tigger swim outfit. We may get a rubber ring thing once he can swim a bit but at the moment we are trying to teach him to swim without aid. I'm trying to decide whether to do swim lessons or not. They are pretty expensive and I'm not convinced it's anything more than I do with him already. X
