I'm one very excited and happy girl!
So at this stage (I'll be 10+5 at scan) will I hear a HB? And see much?

TBH It all depends on baby's position at this stage.. Its still quite early and you may not.. You still may tho.. So don't be disappointed..I'm one very excited and happy girl!

Hey ladies As some of u are aware I am still in hospital and it's going to be the end the week before the review it. Anyway, because I've had all this extra time on my hands I decided ( after declining originally ) to have the bounty photographer take pictures as a gift for my hubby. I spoke to her yesterday and he started getting grizzly so she said she would come back later. In that time hubby turned up so I found her and asked her to come this morning before hubby. I also asked my mother to pick up some props and an outfit change - a Liverpool vest (for a pic for hubby) a soft toy football and big teddy - plus a white stary vest for some more pics. She has taken some amazing pictures!! I'm going to find it hard to chose! They also have some good deals on the packages. I must have tugged on her heart strings cos when I was saying what i wanted she offered me both of the 'free gifts' and the half price offer which means I will get the key ring and 8 mini prints plus I can buy a large acrylic block with best Liverpool pic in for half price! The set I'm getting means I will have prints to give out to family - the football pic I love for the acrylic block would also be one I chose to give out to some people... But then I would be 'wasting' a large 10x8 printed pic of the same one...where as I want a diff bigger pic. Oh I have lots to think about tonight before I order tomorrow lol Anyway - my ADVICE would be to think about an outfit/toy to take for the pictures as they make a nice gift (or thank you cards!!) and they don't have to be too expensive! U can get a large printed picture for £10 or 2 smaller pictures for £15 - expensive for a piece if paper but she spent an hour taking the pics and will never be able to do it again!! X
Eek! My next scan after this one is at 12+4 so will be fascinating to see the difference <3 And you was right girls- toast works! Had a slice with peanut butter and I feel fine Got a Mexican bean wrap from M&S for lunch and the slice of cheesecake for an afternoon snack

I seem to be ok with the spicy stuff so far- I absolutely love a curryThought it would! Toast was my miracle cure Take it easy on the spicy and rich stuff though, I found that anything spicy really aggregated me early on. It was very unlike me but all I wanted was plain food: roast dinners, veggie sausage and mash, proper plain traditional food! It's only recently that I've got my taste of spicy back. I found that anything too rich and creamy made me feel bad too, stuff like risotto and yogurt that I normally love was totally out! For saying I wasn't sick that much I had massive food aversions
Hope you're continuing to feel better and the rest of the day has passed with no vomming x
I seem to be ok with the spicy stuff so far- I absolutely love a curry I've been off yogurts since I got pregnant and so far my only aversions are coffee, tea, milk, cheese when cooked and wholemeal bread. I must admit I've been craving chicken, mash, gravy, sausages, home cooked stodge- I've even asked Mum to do her stew and dumplings next time I'm round as I really fancy it! I feel loads better, no vomming, a bit of nausea but that's to be expected. Been eating well and I have a Twix to end the day with x
Yeh chicken pies with gravy and mash is my current fave mealStodge! That's the way to describe it. I just wanted food that sticks to your sides, comfort food that fills you up. I'm still a bit like that now, I did a root veg stew the other day and it was spot on! Just what I needed Glad you're doing well, sickness should be over soon! x
Just did a proper SW day! 15 syns, 2 HEXB, 3 HEXA (my made up green day for pregnancy plan). Very proud of myself, it's been a while! I also had a meeting with work today and it has been decided that due to my hips and the pain that getting to work and getting around the office is causing, I need to finish work early. So I'm going on mat leave on Friday! I'm still a bit stunned tbh as I was expecting to go in 2.5 weeks but work have been wonderful and really sorted things out for me. I'm a little sad to be going so soon as I do genuinely love my job but I'm also relieved that I'll be able to get my feet up and try to get my hips a bit better. I don't want to end up in so much pain that my birth options are limited and that's the way it was headed, now I can work on getting ready for baby Three days to go! Hope everyone is well and happy xxx
That's excellent news the rest will do you good!! Xx
Thanks, hoping that it will! How are you and little Stevie today? xxx
We can go home!!! Yey!!! Xx
And also, I've got to have a 'reasonably full bladder' to quote my letter and I'm not allowed to empty my bladder for 90 mins beforehand- how do you manage that?!?! I have the worlds weakest bladder without being pregnant![/QUOTE
I really struggled with this. First time I drank tons and then it hurt to sit down. So I was advised for second scan to not go to the loo for 90mijs prior but don't drink until about 20mins before appointment then essentially drink drink drink. It's a lot less uncomfortable that way. Good luck. It's normal to be nervous. I always am but I think that's normal x
