Saw the midwife and heard little girls heartbeat, such an amazing sound <3 she measured my tummy and its as it should be for 25 weeks, urine and blood pressure good so I'm happy with that. Also got my matB1 form so handed that straight in to my boss and decided ill start my mat leave on 10th Jan when ill be exactly 35 weeks. Feeling very excited :-D

Aw lovely news <3 All sounding good! It's fab to have your mat leave date too, 35 weeks is a great time to finish - it when I planned to finish anyway!

Had my ANC and growth scan appt today, scan was great as ever and little boy is growing nicely! They think he's about 5lbs 3 oz at the moment and therefore should be between 8 and 9lbs once fully cooked - chunky boy! <3
Ended up spending rest of day in PAU for monitoring afterwards though as blood pressure was up and wee test wasn't quite right so only just got home! Got to go back on Monday but looks like all ok at the moment so just got to be kept an eye on. Now eating a big dirty pizza, husband knows how to cheer me up. SW can start again tomorrow!

Ah yep, lots of growing in just a week
Evening all!
Hope your all good - had my hospital appt and fortnightly growth scan today due to my anti bodies. All good news anti body levels still low so reduced chance baby will get anaemia - head v low on scan - cooking well and measuring big! All in all a v positive appt and only 6 days left in work!

Must have been a good day for growth scans
Glad all is good with your antibodies and that baby is cooking well! I'm on earlier than planned mat leave now so excited for everyone finishing work soon! Not long to go

Listening to heart beat is magical. I love it. Was amazed at how fast it is thought.

It's crazy when you hear it over a period of time - when you have monitoring done it goes from 130 to 150 to 170 back to 130 in what feels like seconds! Perfectly normally apparently, it kinda freaked me out but midwife said it was very normal for it to change, especially if baby is having an active time xxx

I've not seen the numbers, just heard heartbeat and mw say that is perfectly fine and what she'd expect. It is crazily fast though

Compared to ours it's mega fast! The numbers will be in your notes if you ever get curious. I obsessively read my own notes though lol, first thing I do after every appointment! xxx

This is how they could tell my baby had gone lazy during labour. His heart rate was between 140 and 143 so the line on the monitor looked straight - I thought u was doing what he should be doing but they finally explained (when saying it could be c-section time) that they like to see a jump if at least 10 when monitoring heart rate of babies!! :-/
My little mr can still be lazy lol xxx

That makes sense of that then - I was expecting a straight line like you and it weirded me out that it was jumping all over the place! xxx

Ive gone from being on a bit of a high this morning (it is Friday afterall) to a complete crash and burn this afternoon. Meant to be going to a massive baby shop tmrw with my sister and I was really looking forward to it but now shes saying she doesnt know if she can make it.
I feel soooo upset, could sit here at my desk crying :cry: must be the hormones right!?

Definitely the hormones lovely xxx I had a big cry one Saturday because me and mum were supposed to be going up mothercare to look at prams and we had to cancel because of the football traffic. I felt like the world had ended so I know what you mean xxx
