Pregnancy and Slimming World

Well so far today I've felt ok, a bit of indigestion but nothing major.
Currently have my hand inside a box of Malteasers- this is what happens when you go to Tesco hungry!
I spent a lot of money in there but I did get pregnancy vitamins (3 for 2!) plus I found the advent calendars me and hubby want!
Yes I know I'm almost 30 and he's 31 but we've always had an advent calendar and I'm not about to break tradition :)
Just realised I'll be buying baby one next year eek!
Treated ourselves to the Lindt one £5 each so a lot of money but I remember from last year how hard they were to get hold of once it was November. They often go on offer but I'd rather buy now when they've got them then wait for an offer and they've sold out.
Just got to find somewhere to hide them from hubby now!

Also got a craving for apple juice at the min (the hospital one was so good!) so stocked up on that too :)

Glad u r feeling better today but sorry u had to go through all that - not good!!
I too think hospital food is quite yummy! Yesterday tho there was just curry selection for the evening meal - I like it but if u weren't a curry fan u would be screwed!! ( oh I like cottage cheese salad or egg salad!! Yum! Not!!)

Let's hope u don't see a hospital again until u r having scans and for later in labour! :) xx

It was a good choice yesterday- chilli com carne, chicken casserole or lasagne for lunch then a choice of sandwiches and jacket spuds for supper.
I had a cheese sandwich, a little fruit pot and apple juice and it was the best meal ever lol!!! (I hadn't eaten since Sunday evening!)
When my grandad was in hospital 5 years ago, the food was awful so they've really improved it since then.
And the staff were fab too, couldn't praise the NHS high enough!

Me too- next time I'm going to hospital is for my 12 week scan next Wednesday :)
At least if I do go in again, for any reason, I know the food is good! That's very important lol!! X

Where did u get the frames from?? Those r cool!! Our scan pics have literally just been put in his memory box and replaced with 'real' photos!! Xx
 
I got mine for 5 r 6 euro on amazon hun.
We hav sum in between both those but it's intended to have ur first n big scan. Which "should" be 12 week n 20 but iv put my 7 week as its my favourite. It was the first time we got to see bubs (n j's 30th) together :)

Baby brain has officially hit me!!

I took my iPad to group tonight instead of my card and book d'oh! :doh:

Next to each other on table and I was in a rush- but it made everyone laugh at group!!

I've had some cracking pregnancy brain moments. I forget what I'm saying mid conversation on a regular basis! And I made some unbelievable cock ups at work, swear I would have sacked if I hadn't been pregnant haha! xxx
 
Wi this morning. Didn't weigh in last week n had a Chinese last night. Oops...
Up 1.3lb :(
Am hoping its some Chinese lasting effects... N baby gaining her fat pockets n not really me gaining weight... Total pregnancy gain now of 4.8lb :( Could actually cry. Not sure ill get used to seeing the numbers go up n up n not get upset over it

Honey I know you don't want to gain, but you are actually doing amazing well and the chances are the majority, if not all that weight will be baby and fluids. So please don't stress. You're doing fabulous.

You really are doing so well and some of that will be chinese bloat for sure... I know its hard to see the numbers go up but some of that will def be baby :D


Im off to see the midwife in about 30 minutes, never been so excited to go to the docs surgery ;)

Thanks hun... My weekly update tells me baby will have gained .25lb....
