Lakeside on a Sunday isn't exactly my idea of fun and 5 and a bit weeks before Xmas (!!!) it's gonna be hell!
I'm planning to raid Primark for myself and baby, hubby will want to go to Bluewater for Next and M&S and of course we need to go to IKEA- haven't been for ages so will be in there for ages (I like looking at every section!!) and I remember the food is really cheap in their cafe so that's good

On the pram front, we are so happy to have found the one!
I think we are trying to get everything 'big' when we see it- I've got a week off in January where I'll be attacking the baby's room to have a good sort out (it's currently our spare room/office/junk yard) and then hubby is going to do some decorating in there.

27 weeks pregnant today - wow, dont know where has the time gone!

went for a walk last night and felt rerally uncomfortable, bump was putting lots of pressure on me when I was walking - really hope it was just a 1 off and not a sign of things to come, I need to keep as active as possible...

Hi girls just popping in, things are busy here. I'm 31+2 now so less than 9 weeks to go. I have a growth scan on Monday.
Bump update.



We've also bought our pram, we've got a mamas and papas urbo. I don't know which colour because I have dh a 2 colour option (he knows the sex). I think baby's a girl and the girl pram is gorgeous. Here's the girl choice.





I'm so desperate to look at the label because I'd know what I'm having then. I've come so far though.

How's everyone else doing, any updates or scans coming up?

Happy 27 weeks! Third trimester here you come

I'm knackered and pregnant lol, same as usual at the mo! 36 weeks tomorrow and I'm feeling it... I've really had to slow down but not long to go now until baby H-W makes his arrival - 6 weeks maximum!

It was about 27/28 weeks that I started to find it hard going. If you need rest don't fight it, just go with what your body says. Stay active when you can but don't stress if you feel to tired to swim or walk. xxx

I love that pram, v similar to the oyster which we have. Can't believe how strong you are being, I would have cracked and opened that envelope by now!

You are way better than me, I found out at the earliest opportunity!

Well I've showered, dressed and now massively out of breath. Just having a sit down before drying my hair. No one tells you how tiring every day tasks can be.

Can I ask how comes you all had growth scans? As far as I know I only get the two scans- one at 12 and one at 20 weeks. Would love to see my bubba again though!

Everyday tasks get crazy difficult. All l've done today is got dressed, made breakfast and put in some washing and I'm needing a sit down!

I had one at 29 weeks due to reduced movement but everything was fine thank goodness! I also had a scheduled growth scan at 34 weeks which apparently is standard when you're under the consultant. I'm not under consultant care for anything massive (it's a combination of my age, history of infertility and mental health apparently) but I still had to have the growth scan. They'll do them if you ever measure too big or too small at the midwife too and for a few other reasons. It's always lovely to see baby again but if you're not having growth scans then it's because they're happy with you which is great news! xx

Thanks -feels very exciting to be in the 3rd tri I walked to work this morning (takes just 15 minutes) and I was starting to struggle towards the end, but I do want to keep as active as poss... may try a swim at the weekend and see how I go but wont push it.

Oh ok thanks. I'm midwife led care. Not seen a consultant at all, and so far been measuring bang on what they expect so guess that's why I'm struck with 2 scans x

That'll be it then. If you don't have another scan it's kind of a good thing! I've had a stupid amount for one reason or another plus two private scans. I think baby H-W is a bit fed up of being looked at by now, bless him! xxx

It is very similar, I already have the matching car seat which was a factor lol. I'm nervous about the scan, the consultant said 5th babies can be small and the mw said yesterday baby doesn't feel big but how she can tell as baby's back to back I don't know. I hope I'm feeding baby ok. Another thing to worry about lol.

It's always sad once you've had your last scan but it means baby will be here soon!!!

You've always had big babies in the past though right so they could well be wrong. I find it hard to know how they can tell much by feel anyway tbh, it all seems so complicated! I can tell where baby is of course but I can't tell which way round he is etc.

I get growth scans as I'm prone to big babies and history with my others means they like to check to know what's coming.

I bet you're waddling now, it's really glamorous isn't it lol. Is baby engaged have you got the bowling ball in your knickers effect lol.

I've been told I'll get offered growth scans as I've been so ill they want to make sure baby is growing properly.
Had 2 scans so far, another booked in for 20 weeks and I imagine it'll depend on how baby is growing at that one if they decided to offer another.
Obv I want baby to be growing just fine but I'd love the chance to see baby often!

The pram we loved: a- because of all the stuff you get with it, b- the colour is perfect for either boy or girl and c- because of the bears!!
Very cute, can't wait for it to arrive!

It's a gok dress from sainsburys. It comes with a sucky in bit underneath but I can't wear that st the moment lol. It's a lovely dress and comes just below the knee. It's stretching with me at the moment.

3rd tri yay! There's a few if us reaching the labour room soon. I'm personally still in complete denial but I did buy aldi newborn nappies today and that was a bit spooky.
