I really shouldn't laugh at this but since that is how my first was nearly born I can't help it

I went to the toilet on the ward, felt strange and then felt something slimy. Pulled the emergency cord as thought it might be his cord and sat waiting for 10 minutes for them to answer it. Turned out it was both his legs, frantic panic followed by original midwife standing like an idiot asking for gloves. Then they tried to grab hospital bed with sleeping husband on it will never ever forget the porter trying to cover everything with a pillowcase, remember thinking it was really funny at the time. We were rushed to a theatre, special care team was sent up as we were on the way down so special care sent another team. Husband was shoved into a room on his own and I asked where he was, doctor replied "oh do you want him here then?" he came rushing in and within 7 minutes Lukas was born. First words doctor said were "It's A Boy" to which I replied (since we had been told he was a girl

) "it better not be it's got a purple bedroom and a wardrobe full of dresses"

Does it sound worse if I admit he was my slowest and lowest drama birth
