Hi girls x how are you all? I have a midwife appt today x not looking forward to seeing how much my little lady weighs now :( she's grown 3cm in 10 days xx

Why aren't u looking forward to it? Have I missed something??

How many days overdue were u? I'm on my 5th or 6th day over and I'm fed up majorly!! :-( lol any tips for things I won't have tried?? X
 
To be honest I don't think anything really helps get them out x I think they just come when they're ready x to start with I tried a few things n I have up like 3 days after I went into labour :) x

Why you not looking forward to it? Everything ok? Cai, what have you done already? Tho have to be honest...they come when they are ready! I had 3 sweeps, acupuncture, reflexology, pineapple, curry, a little bit of bedroom fun (hubby was over the moon!) as well as walking loads! And none of it worked. So if you are ready, they will help, if not just enjoy the peace and quiet and sleep! X

Thanks - I recall I getting pains and then the night before read yr post saying 'if this isn't the real thing I want to change my mind' or summat like that lol :)
This time last week I was having regular bouts of pains and Braxton hicks...not just the odd pressure pain when walking. I feel like I've stepping backwards :-(

lol @ wanting her to stay little - I thought u were worried she might have lost too much and would need monitoring!! She is such a cutie! Can't wait to meet my little man!! Xx

Didn't get chance to finish earlier! Pressed send by accident and then little one needed me! I was going to say I know what you mean, I sort of don't want her to grow up but at the same time it's nice to know they are doing well and go you with Emily being over 8lb! You should be v chuffed, that's all you! You're clearly a natural at the bf x

Are u kidding?? Did the midwife say obese?? She is a baby and you feed her as and when she wants!! How could u deprive her of food/milk at this stage?
Maybe a diet milk?! Lol xx

That is a complete pile of bulls**t if you will excuse the French. Feed her when she needs feeding and you will be fine as cai said. The health visitor would be able to reassure you anyway but no baby is obese! She may have jumped a few centiles but that's fine. It's all about consistent growth. Bloody midwives. Some of them get the rest of us a bad name. X
