8 weeks to go!

The more I think about this the more angry I get. I cannot believe she said that to you!!!! Is this the same mw who wouldn't do a sweep? I would complain if I were you. Grrrrr. Am angry on your behalf! Please please ignore her.
 
I do formula feed her sometimes during the day x but I don't think she has that much x apparently I think she's hungry when she just wants a cuddle .. But if I'm already trying to settle her n she's chomping on her hands and head butting me I'm pretty sure she's looking for a feed x it's not the same midwife but she's a new one at my surgery along side the one who wouldn't do my sweep x x

Keep pressing send by accident! Yes as I was saying follow your instincts, she is your baby and you know best. It certainly sounds like she is hungry as you say and if she isn't hungry she won't feed when you offer it! Doesn't matter if you give her a bit of formula as well, she is mainly bf and as I say you can't really over feed. My little girl is on 91st centile for everything, has been since she was born and technically she is overweight compared the average but you can't restrict food for a baby, and the health visitor said to me that a thriving baby is a happy baby and it's right! My friend had a little girl weighing 8lb13 a few days before I had Abigail, and at 8 weeks she only weighed 10lb 3 whereas Abbie was 12lb 2 (and 9.4 born). Abbie is generally happy content and smiley whereas Heidi is cross and grumpy and looks pale and ill but her mum is insistent on excl bf even tho she clearly needs more...so if you're happy, she's happy and she's gaining weight then all is good. Silly midwives...come and live in Birmingham, we will look after you! X
 
Ahh I'm in the hands of the health visitor now anyway x I'm not gonna listen as Emily is happy x she's never grumpy only cries for food or a bum change x I'm happy with how things are x x
 
Had the grumpiest clingy baby this morning :( so put her in her pram took her snd the dog for a nice little walk at 1.30 and she's still flat out :) xx
 
I know so scary .. It's Thursday so daddy's out all day and night .. Might see him for a few hours this afternoon x she's still snoozing x so I'm making the most of snuggling up in my duvet before my sister gets here lol x I'm doing great x I think she was grumpy yesterday because she was cold x this house is horrible in winter x and I've only lived here for half a winter so far x x

We have too... And the worst part of it was we were living in a building site as our back boiler in the living room exploded blowing out the window etc... So it was AWFUL... We've insulated our entire house now though and installed new rads all over and new windows so hopefully we'll be toasty.. Otherwise I think I'll cry having spend ALL that money for nothing... lol

OMG.. She is so perfect.. She looks so snug too... Awwwwwwww
 
We haven't had the money to replace all that stuff x but fingers crossed for Emily's sake this year is better because the house is more lived In x she's so snug today and sleeping so yesterday's episode was deffo cos she was cold x I'm debating today do I have a shower and get dressed or join my little lady and put a onesie on lol xx

We'd not have had it done yet either I'd say only for the explosion.. No point spending loads to get the place looking decent again and then undoing it in a year or so to insulate... But delighted its done n over with now..
And yea I think it being lived makes a huge difference.. The bricks hold in heat/cold n if a house is sitting idle its just soaking up the cold..
If I were you I'd go have a quick shower, put on fresh PJ's/onsie and have a lazy day.. God knows you deserve it :)
 
My sisters on her way she wants to make mars bar cakes x I managed to make Bakewell tarts yesterday .. Including the pastry and the cake topping n bake them before Emily woke up :) x pretty impressed x x
