I'm the same - I am not veggie but I really like the meat alternatives, especially the fact they are lower in points!

Was tempted to use 3 of them points up on a cream egg but I'm not even that big a chocolate person so didn't bother.

One hours walk - 3.5 saved. I have 12.5 saved for the meal today and wont eat any more than 10 before it so that will be 22.5 points for it and I am not having a starter or desert (passing them on to the human recycling bin known as my wee brother) and will have a bowl of jelly waiting for me when I get in

Meal was very yummy, went for the chicken with rice and veg. No idea what the points would actually be but nowhere near the points saved.

Back home now with a half bottle of voddy and the family up! Carnage will happen!

Wasn't carnage I'd say, enjoyable amount but nothing huge.

I got meat free chicken fillets to try so had one of them on a bit of bread when I got back in. Really nice! 1.5pts a fillet too!

I have never tried quorn so can't really compare but I wouldn't say they are a kick in the toosh off a chicken taste. I liked them anyway...mind you I tend to like most things.

Poultry is the actual bird, the meat is what we eat
