Was going red it turned out rubbish again

L. Nothing, picked at spicy Indian mix like birdy num num. busy at work...didn't get out didn't feel hungry either, pants.

D. Ate some chicken breast

Had some jam on toast .
 
Mad weekend started with hosting an American friend , some beers, then getting ready to take son to uni visit at Loughborough on Saturday and taking daughter to start uni in Bath on Sunday. Not very conducive to staying in plan.... I did choose the pasta veggie option on campus at Loughborough, and hade similar when I got home on Saturday. Plus some homemade apple crumble. No time for bike ride this weekend. I know I will pull it back when less busy.

I will make an effort today, I will take bananas and go green again.

A stressful Sunday, dropping off daughter no1 at her uni campus accommodation in Bath. We had lunch at 6pm, me mrs, daughter and son, at a buffet ( fatal) Mexican, Chinese, Italian, Indian, Thai all you can eat. It was hilarious and just what we all needed. My son came to the table with prawn crackers, murgh mahkni, pilau rice and pizza! They loved the chocolate fountain too!

I ate mainly meat........

Green, on plan syns for 2 biscuits at work and half a muffin at home with my muller lite.

Desperate for some normality and to get my running and cycling back. Kids eh?

Really, Texty, you must have had then when you were......surely that's illegal , even up in knacker land? How you getting on with your back? My run last night was painful, I was like Keyser Soze running down hill.


Haha @ knackerland - Oil of Ulay is sold out now. I had to look up Keyser Soze see im old im behind the times. Im taking the tablets as prescribed but to be honest theyre not doing a lot. Just wishing my appt would come through. Ouch @ running good on ya
 
Yayyyy I got my appt through. 2 weeks today so im happy about that, hoping it will give answers not long after

Nice one Texty, hope you get some answers, explanations and a way forward. It's funny at home, even the youngest one was staying over at a friends, so just me, mrs and dogs in the house..

A small hot steak and ale full crust hot pie! Probably the nicest pie ever. A lady came round the offices with a trolley full of freshly made small pies and cakes, made by our canteen and sold for a cancer charity. 11 am when everyone was hungry, they did not last long. Absolutely beautiful. I could have eaten 3 at least.

Later, I demonstrated massive self control as someone put 2 bags of doughnuts out. It's a complete minefield.

L. Quorn mince chili, and salad, half tin mushy peas in chili . Slice of spelt bread and butter

D. Small piece if salmon, sw wedges and salad, muller lite cherry yoghurt, just 2 t spoons choc spread.

Loads of syns again, lager, pies, bread butter....

Will be making a curry for my Dads birthday Saturday night, so a few more syns....I need the cycling and running to maintain, not for loss.

1215 miles cycled, another 56 today total 1276 miles . with San Fairy Ann CC, hilly outward leg and a very quick run home, the lead out was v quick over 23 mph , my left ham strung cramped and put me out of the sprint finish......

B. 2 egg omlette with mushrooms from garden, lovely parasol mushrooms, onion, peppers and lean bacon

Coffee stop on bike ride, coffe. 2 sugars, a slab if strawberry jam sponge homemade, delicious .

L. A bowl of fresh plums from our orchards, with Greek nil fat yoghurt and a cherry nu me yoghurt and crunchy nut poured over, cup of tea, slice of spelt bread and butter.

Weighed in at 12' 6 still 4 lb below target....

Another busy week, on a first aid course, pretty gruesome... Green for Monday and Tuesday. Missed my run Sunday night, felt too tired.

D. Roadt chicken leg with roasted veg , swede, carrots and onions with Balti seasoning and cauliflower.

1276 miles cycled, 54 more today on my new bike! 1330 total since end of April , once a week. Nice ride out with intermediates, hilly outward leg, new bike, Giant Composite Defy 2. It made the hills a lot easier. The cafe stop was at the fish and chip shop in Lenham. No cake ! I settled for an egg roll. Didn't realise it was about a foot long with 3 fried eggs in it., will post a photo. It was enjoyable. I asked to have my water bottle refilled and the youth who was given the task of " just fill it up please " then tipped out my expensive electrolyte powder and filled it with water! Very fast leg home, I could only manage about 5th in the sprint. But , considering I've only got about 4 months cycling in my legs that's not bad. Red B. Hard boiled egg,1 Danish nimble toasted, mushroom, tomatoe, coffee L. Egg roll, coffee 1 sugar


Watched rugby with my dad and had a couple of beers and black bomber cheese and Stilton. I am such a sinner, but I enjoyed it.

Watched the rugby league final, with another beer!

Texty, purpletortoise , you'll get there . My cycling , running and walking all help. I went down to 12'3 shortly after I did a 100 miler. I wasn't really eating enough to sustain the efforts of the bike riding with my club. Last Saturday we had our coffe stop at a chip shop / kebab house.....I scoured the menu for something light, ended up picking an egg roll as I thought it would relatively neutral. 3 fried eggs in a long hero! Blinkin enormous.

D. About 9.30 pm, spag Bol, extra lean mince steak hex b, sauce was a dolmio jar original ( mum cooked it so that youngest ate before swimming, we don't get back from work in time to cook..) syns....6? 18 syns?
