Erm should you be advertising this in here lmao

Lol I was getting a bit worried there.

The scan was fine, very noisy though even wearing ear plugs. I feel for people with claustrophobia. I should have my results in about 2 weeks I hope. Then will see what happens next.

510 miles walked, jogged and run, 5 more walked another 5 (.5) run last night. 520 total (500 last year)

Measured my course with GPS, and it's 5.5 miles, running better than I thought.

Had green days with some bread and butter at start if week, and moved to red yesterday , same as weeks before , chicken salad at lunch...

2 lbs off , 12'5 again. I think this is the pattern I will be happy to maintain at, 12'7 -12'5.

1396 miles cycled, another 50 soaking wet miles on my lovey new bike, 1446 total (162 on new bike). A shortened ride because of the weather, none the less some hard climbing and cautious descending on wet, slippery roads. ( gravel, acorns, mud and horse mud!) . Many of us didn't have mud guards, we ended up looking a bit like quite clean miners. Nice cafe stop at Hawkhurst fish farm, needed paper napkins to soak up our soggy bottoms, felt like my nappy needed changing. Bakewell tart and a coffee, some had the full Monty, don't know how they do it. We set off in pouring rain, even the ducks at the fish farm had taken shelter under a willow! This didn't stop a few of us setting a good pace home, more hills , my lower back muscles and glutes groaned at the effort I was putting in. More cautious descending. I heard that one of the girls in the B plus group took a tumble last week, slid on acorns in the road and hurt her ribs when she came off. Four of us , out 12, made a break at the front with about 4 mikes to go, and we didn't get caught. I came third again. My first real wet weather ride. Not cold, thank heavens, but I am going to need some mudguards, or even a winter bike? He he he....... B. Nu me sausages, 2 syns, 2 wm nimble Danish, egg and tinned toms Bakewell and coffee with 2 sugars L. Slices of top side beef with horseradish wrapped around red onion and salad. Walnut and date loaf, some garlic bread hone made. All after I cleaned my beautiful machine! I am having so many syns.....had kit kat last night, Ben and jerry ice cream and choc spread . I'm still doing good weight wise though.

I'm doing ok thanks, not doing much cycling though, OH has two days a week off now so I tend to drive to work on those days so he can get the train & go out somewhere, I'm still managing to stay in target, but I know that will change when I get back from my hols in December, but hey ho that's how it goes.

Will you still cycle in the winter?

Yeah, looks like they carry on through winter even though the club calendar shows the organised rides as ending in November. The various groups still meet up and ride out. I asked my group about it and they were telling me about rides in January onwards when it started snowing etc. seems they only cancelled a couple of times. I'm not sure how hardcore I will be, will depend if I have the right kit to wear and got my old bike set up for winter. Then, how enjoyable it us. Today was good, even though soaked through. I wasn't cold. Don't think I'd have enjoyed it being cold and wet, sod that!

You will be fine after your hols, you know what to do. It's a never ending journey!

525 miles walked jogged and run, 7 more walked, 5.5 run last night 537.5 total. ( record time for Rochester Chatham hilly 51'04) Funny week, mrs Quins bday but haven't really celebrated it properly. Trains were complete carnage 2 days running, meant both late home . First night we opened the bottle of Rioja pâté and Roquefort that I bought for her birthday.. French bread toasted , olive oil, crisps, chorizo bloody lovely and de stressing . 2 nd night in laws popped in, we were late again, awkward, nothing for other than 2 bottles of lovely ale. Stuck to plan rest of week, ran and stayed the same at 12'5'6

1446 (162 Giant Defy comp 2) cycled. Another 52 miles, (1498 total, 214 on Defy) on new bike last Saturday. A flat ride, labelled as fixed wheel friendly. Nothing really to report until after our cafe stop when the usual higher paced run home took place. We got to about 200m from my door when we took a right and stopped to wait for others to catch up. I was asked if I would lead a faster group back fir anyone that wanted a race home. I was pleased to be asked and dug in at the front. It was lung and leg burning but I made it a fast pace and managed second at the finish.

537.5 miles walked jogged and run, 4 miles walked, 541.5 total

Been generally on plan and taking more syns on board , cake at bike stops, bread and butter, etc, choc spread, peanut butter, home made apple crumble. But still managing to keep 5 lb under target. Thinking of changing my target weight as I feel that I might lose discipline.

Been busy , looking at universities on top work and other stuff , had an epic journey home from Leeds on Sunday. Kept to plan on the visit baked spud with cheese and beans, then list it in the rotten 5 hour plus , traffic jam journey home. Shared a galaxy, had 2 chicken drums tucks...then beans in toast with real bread and butter....4 slices! Lovely.

Got a week off, youngest has work experience at a vet practice, no lay in.....

Will try and keep diary up to date.
